Why is finishing everything in your backlog so difficult?
For the same reasons you use to post worthless threads.
There, you finished it.
>mfw I finished everything in my backlog today
Since it landed up in your backlog, you never had as much of an interest in it in the first place. If you did, you'd have watched it right away.
Stop bitching, I'm getting closer and closer to the final boss.
Like 600 episodes
It's growing faster than I can go through it.
Why is /a/ so autistic about its backlog? Just fucking watch and enjoy anime.
This >>101402323 and after some seasons there is always something interesting i missed so it goes to backlog.
This interests me. Is it worth watching?
That's an interesting way of putting it.
I have no idea if it's good but it's like one of those old as hell anime that Japan keeps revisiting like Lupin and stuff so I'll at least try to watch it for the general knowledge.
At least it's not Doraemon with its 2000+ episodes
Because the backlog is an ever-growing source of anime to nourish and protect you from the cold harsh reality outside of your computer and isn't meant to be finished.
Man, fuck Doraeman. There's no possible way of even watching one of the earlier versions of the show.
Jesus Christ, that gif
Shows that end up my backlog:
Old 70 episode series take ages to get through
Shows that seem alright but I decided to watch other shows that looked better in their season
Recommendations that I've not got round to yet
>watched movie gg subbed and I just had in backlog
>movie turned out to not make any damn sense
at least the time traveling esper was fabulous
>and he died
Nerawareta Gakuen was just eyecandy anyway.
Because my backlog contains more shows than I have watched.
Because let's face it, you put things on there that you think you "should" watch but deep down don't really want to.
but you can have story as well as eyecandy if you stick to Shinkai films
even though the story is always depressing and the same thing every time
god-DAMN if that man can't make the best scenery porn ever
Garden of Words is one of the most beautiful looking films I've ever had the pleasure of experiencing
the hardest part is starting a new series
i started watching samurai flamenco earlier on and it's really boring, i don't know if i'm going to bother
Because I watched LotGH. I haven't watched anime since summer and everything looks like crap to me. That, and I can't be assed to start anything.
Because for every finished anime I add two more.
This. And also when I start new series it's usually not from my backlog. I really need to stop doing that...
I do this too.
Once you get to episode 7 everything goes completely insane. It's still bad, but you can't get off this ride.
Because I have got an anime backlog, a manga backlog, a film backlog, and a book backlog.
I look at that as a good sign, because it means you aren't letting yourself get bored.
Backlogs exist for two reasons:
1) dead time between seasons
2) when you're bored with nothing better to do
Since reason 1 only comes around rarely, reason 2 is the primary function for a backlog. If your backlog is growing, it means you're keeping yourself busy and occupied with other things, which is a good thing! Boredom is a disease.
>finishing the backlog
I think I'm going to start next season by watching my backlog, one episode a week. It'll be easier to digest.
It will only grow.
