What's /a/s consensus on Kiba no Tabishounin?
I keep seeing it posted in threads but hardly anyone ever taking about it
Need less kids and more Garami.
it's nonsense and i like that.
Its like Berserk with guns.
I like it, but it's as you say, /a/ is not the place to discuss it.
it started high and lost steam, there are lots of manga that follow that pattern. A shame really.
Well, thanks to you i'm gonna check it out.
Did this go on hiatus or is no just really translating it?
It recently got 7 more chapters translated. But it has always been kinda slow.
BlackRockScans dropped it or something I think, just downloaded 41-47 myself, time to get reading!
Damn those Garami thighs... I'd like to squeeze in between them.
I've stopped reading this when they reached that forest with the vampires and shit, could someone spoil me on what's currently going on?
Oh, thanks for telling. Guess I'll go read up on it too
But isn't it a manga? It's in Japanese!!!
Not what I ment, some manga doesn't get responses from /a/ at all, this is one of them, sadly.
Another great manga that gets completly ignored on /a/ is Green Blood.
>Its like Berserk with guns.
Are you me?
It's a good manga, and has a great setting.
It's not so much that it's unpopular as it is the releases are far too irregular and sporadic to have any significant threads about it.
I haven't read the new chapters that apparently came out yet, but after the vampire arc I was starting to get bored with it. Everything before that was very good though.
Still waiting for drilltits.
Basically you even forget its existence between two translated chapter.
It's... not that kind of manga what /a/ cares about.
Too generic for Hipster, not enought harem for wifuwars, and has no humor. And has nothing too much about it to discuss.
Compared to some other /a/ material it's just... plain.
So now I'm on the fence about reading this
I'm not too concerned with a weird update schedule because my log is so backed up
Is it worth reading or not?
Dropped on the first chapter, bad characters.
Yes it is. Its like stated earlier in the thread, like Berserk, only with modern weapons in an apocalyptic wasteland.
It's incredible how you were able to become familiar enough with the characters to judge them as bad from only one chapter in which not all of the characters were even in. Truly, truly impressive.
it's not worth your time.
Fuck it, I'm just gonna read it and see what I think
It's alright but hasn't proved to be anything special as of yet. Too bad the release schedule is so goddamn slow
I've bought all the volumes up to 6, waiting on 7 for one year now, did it got axed?
Not to my knowledge no, but it states that in Nip-land its currently reached the 6th volume.
It's been awhile since last release, but we are all familiar painfully aware of the term "hiatus".
No, it's just hectic. There is no sign of life for 6 month than sudenly 7 chapter for one.
It looked sorta interesting, but overall felt kind of mediocre reading it. Feels a bit 'generic shounen-y', especially with the kid.
I felt this way as well.
This is the reason I picked it up, after reading all of berserk I was looking for more manga that was like Berserk. Kiba no Tabishounin gave off the same sort of vibe.
Garami is my waifu.
It's just very, very slow. There's one guy called viscans or something I think (check batoto) who is translating it himself. I think we need to wait for the next volume to come out I think for the next chapters.
The comparisons to Berserk are kind of annoying. While I can see some similarities between the two works Berserk feels more 'mature' (that sounds super fucking pretentious, I know). Mostly what >>101420359 said.
>not cared about on /a/
You clearly know nothing about /a/.
>At the part where Souna is helping the loli escape slave city
>Souna goes to the slave pen
>Gets caught by guards
Is it me, or is Souna really stupid?
She is smokin hot!
In what way?
Well one of the comparisons can be that it started high and lost steam.
But in all seriousness they were probably referring to the tone of the manga. Most manga with that tone tends to be compared to Berserk.
>Shin Angyo Onshi
Even if the series itself has nothing alike.
>What's /a/s consensus on Kiba no Tabishounin?
Pretty cool take on Kurohime I guess
No really, all those faggots comparing it to Berserk probably haven't read Kurohime. Even how the main characters meet is similar.
He's not conan you know. Kids bound to be stupid.
I wanted to like it but it's just erk
Fucking loved the first half of that manga.
Had problems with the second half though.
I read it back when I was like fifteen (eight years ago). It's about time I re-read it. I remember being thoroughly fascinated by the concept of magical bullets and the characters were pretty cool.
Are you me? I remember I cried when Zero died to save Hime, but looking back at it it's objectively pretty bad.
The guns are pretty cool at least, and the titties/ass still hold up well.
Pretty cool. I like Garami, though the main kid was kinda eh so far as I'd last read.
Might have to check up again.
Dat hip to waist ratio puts Oda to fucking shame.
Interesting setting. Otherwise too generic, reminds me of a mawha with the loli and the cool mentor type character.
Well, to be fair the toothpick waists are more pronounced in the One Piece anime.
Also her later designs sucked ass. Bayonetta Kurohime >>> teen form.
Picked up either way.
The Breaker: New waves?
That's to be expected, when the women are drawn this deliciously it's usually because of Korean Slave artists.
/a/ isn't talking about it because shit isn't updating.
That's the thing about manga discussion they mostly get talked about when they come out which are at monthly-yearly intervals.
unless it's One Piece
i thought their'd be SS. but I stayed for the action.
you have manga like Berserk that get talked about on a daily basis, even though it is just to complain.
actually scratch that
the exception are manga that have anime to them
Manga cancelled because artist is Mia
