Things from the 1st cour that will be used as a device in the 2nd
-Manaka's wish to the sea slug
-Manaka's conversation with Tsumugu that is yet to be revealed
-Manaka's message to Hikari that she was suppose to tell him after the Ofunehiki
Can we have a NagiAsu thread that talks about theories and speculation instead of shipping shit and waifu wars
Chisaki > Manaka > Shit > Akari
Is Chisaki best girl?
You've been trapped
Sayama has been in every episode since the timeskip huh?
Reminder that the suffering train has no breaks.
Yes because the studio knows that he's great.
>chisaki is going to end up with tsumugu and there is nothing you or I can do to stop it
>Manaka's wish to the sea slug
Seaslug is her husbando
What's the significance of the seaslugs with the red bellies anyway?
Perhaps it's got something to do with the seagod. Manaka said that legend is that if you make a wish to a red-bellied one, it might speak back to you. Seaslugs usually aren't conscious.
If you tell it your deepest feelings it will tell you what it will come out of it. If it spits a dull rock it means your feelings will ruined. If it is a shiny rock, it meams great things are going to happen.
NOTE: there is a shiny pendant in OP2 hanging off the Ofunehiki flag
>it spits out a dull and shiny rock
I swear I must've spaced out during that and missed it. Didn't miss the shiny rock in the OP though.
I thought that was the necklace that Miuna gave to Akari.
This show makes me want to have sex with fish
Go to bed Suzaku...
not with all these unfertilized fish around here
>What happens in the bedroom is our little secret, okay?
I always forget how gorgeous this show looks while I'm actually watching it.
The same thing happened with Uchouten Kazoku
>sexualizing the Nagi-Asus
Miuna is stealing spotlight time for Hikari. Fuck that bitch
Miuna - Hikari
Chisaki - Tsumugu
Psychio-kun - Sayu
Then Manaka will wake up, and tries to break these couples up with her raging hormones. The main character of the last arc is cardriver kid: it's about his plot to murder Manaka so that his friends can live happily in peace.
2000 hrs tracking down a good shot of the necklace, and it looks like something I haven't seen before.
>having no libido
Anything other than Psycho-kun - Sayu doesn't make sense after last episode.
How can he be so blunt?
He gives no fucks.
That first C isn't supposed to be capitalized.
How can you not be? Have you watched too much Japanese media that you become a Japanese beta yourself?
Anything to get them Chisaki's
Because he's a man who knows what he wants
Kaname cracks me up. I genuinely feel bad for him
He's got nothing to lose, he should know that Tsumugu won by now.
>Tsumugu won by now.
Except that he didn't. They may look like a married couple but that's just because they've been living together for so long.
They both like each other, it's only a matter of time before someone says something.
How does she like him?
She like his grandpa enough to pick a career where she can care for him. She plans to stick around for a while.
It wouldn't be the most extreme thing a person has done to show they were grateful. That said, the boat incident was pretty damning evidence in my eyes.
It was very blatant in episode 12-13. Also the flashback showed her blushing while looking at him.
-The fact Manaka did this act so Miuna can have a mother
>Manaka comes back with seagod scales
How did I not see this before?
Go re-watch the first half, Chisaki acted like a shitty tsundere around Tsumugu and even Kaname commented on her attitude and made resigned sad faces.
Kaname's feelings were far more unknown and repressed. She's the one constantly stealing glances and blushing, the man puts a robot face on her sight.
They should just fuck so Kaname can move on, Jesus.
You sure that's not a euphemism for pregnancy, anon?
Am I the only one that's in love with this show? It's the only thing I look forward to each week.
Is this your first Nagi No Asukara thread?
You're not the only one.
Why isn't the new dengeki scanned yet
They also threw a lot at Tsumugu's first encounter with Manaka, and look where that ended up.
Too busy fapping to Miuna.
What if Manaka ends up with ntr-kun? My sides won't survive.
>trying to win against Tsumugu
Poor Kaname, doesn't he know that the man is practically perfect? Sure he has some family issues but that's it. He's a bro, kind, soft spoken, attractive and all the bitches and fan girls love him. Hikari tried to win against him but we all know how that turned out.
>implying it's not the only way
She most likely will.
I hope Chisaki and Tsumugu doesn't happen just to see all the butthurt fangirls
Too bad Chisaki still wants that shota dick.
Not according to Kaname.
Tsumugu rejected Manaka, if he had show even the slightest interest on her, she'll be carrying his half breeds by now.
Everyone in the anime is getting ntr'd. None of the in-your-face ships from the first cour came true.
>Kaname likes Chisaki
Nope, you're with Sayu
>Chisaki likes Hikari
Nope, you're with Tsumugu
>Hikari likes Manaka
Nope, you're with Miuna
>Manaka like Tsumugu
Nope, sea god for you
And this is just the setup for the second cour. I can see it now:
Miuna ded, Manaka ded. Hikari ded.
Chisaki and Tsumugu make wild love all day.
Kaname forever alone.
I really like that cover, Manaka looks so cute.
It's the show I'm liking the most nowadays
Not according to Chisaki
I'm thinking that when Manaka awakens, everything has gotten back to normal again. The town, everything. She runs through the town, same old scenery.
Then she'll see Hikari, runs up to him and say hi but then Hikari says he doesn't know her. While looking a bit confused and disheartened, here comes along an adult-looking guy touching the head of Hikari. It's actually the real Hikari and the kid is his son. A few decades already had passed since the ofuneki incident and Manaka was the last Oshiooshi resident to awaken. "You haven't changed at all, Manaka.", says the adult Hikari smiling.
Tears fall down Manaka's face and say "Y-you too." Camera pans up the sky.
What? he's the first one to notice Chisaki is a dumb bitch who's stuck between two D and she doesn't even know.
I like you. Implied win with Hikari's son. Happy end.
What we never saw any rejection nor any confession between them.
I won't know who his wife though.
Or it could be that the kid who look like him is actually the son of his sister. He was just visiting them for a while.
And Hikari actually waited decades for Manaka to wake up. Why the fuck am I making myself sad? ;_;
What kind of lingerie is that?
I really wanna know.
I want this to happen.
>Tears fall down Manaka's face and say "EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEHHHHHHHHH?!" Camera pans up the sky.
Plot twist: The kid is Akira.
That's why I don't like to put the "camera pans up the sky."
>Tsumugu and Chisaki became a couple
>Hii-kun and Kaname butthurt, spouting Manaka loved him and shit
>Tsumugu beats the fuck out of them.
>Chisaki interferes and defends Hii
>she decides to suck fish dick instead
>Kaname laughs while crying inside
I bet Manaka will be found this way, for a third time, but nude and not Tsumugu.
/ss/ doujin when
>yfw no absolute pairing in the end and everything is pretty much free for all
Not soon enough
>She's found by the group of fishermen
Chisaki has said anything? When?
You seriously need comprehension. Kaname's mental scene with Hikari was short vs the long scene with Kaname and:
From the official site. They spelled aloud that Kaname is worried about Tsumugu's relationship with Chisaki, 0 fucks about Hikari. That is, as far as the makers go, the direction of the story.
You're getting derailed by Kaname's wrong impression of things never changed when he realized later they did.
During her confession scene, she said she may not even like him and is just confusing her feelings.
She accepted that when she compared him with the sun "unreachable" was the implicit.
>giving a fuck about Hikun
Yeah I know, she went with him in that dangerous seaworld adventure instead of staying home to iron Tsumugu's pajamas.
Let's settle this
If you don't vote for Tsumugu then you have shit tastes
Oh yeah I agree with you. You should notice she only stared at him with interest when he went full Manakafag. Before that, she wasn't blushing or longingly looking at him.
She really loves the way he loves Manaka. Psycho doesn't know this.
Are we really gonna make conclusions from a short summary from the website? Thess pls
Kaname always knew Hikari wasn't a problem because Hikari will never see Chisaki as a woman, I'm telling you that he knows Chisaki might feel something for Hikari as well. Tsumugu is a more worrisome case because he gave attention to Chisaki (before the timeskip) and now is living with her.
>Hikari 6 votes (75%)
C'mon guys Hikari was unlikable for almost the entire 1st cour. Even then he's still pretty average.
Hikari became extremely likeable after the first 5-6 episodes, what show were you watching?
>-Manaka's conversation with Tsumugu that is yet to be revealed
Basically her confession, right?
he is the hero this show needs
Hikari became likeable pretty fast.
Also I can't stand Tsumugu and Kamane.
>zero votes for Kaname
The suffering continues.
Hikari became best boy after a few episodes.
Hikari is in the poll, I can't do anything about it anon.
Looks like you didn't vote for him, either.
What? It's the summary of the story on the site. They don't have any ship-bias unlike you. They simply write what happens.
Hikari's my favorite, so I voted for him.
I don't disagree with that. But my point is that Kaname knows Tsumugu's a real rival while Hikari's a joke one. He's playing the Nice Guy act on Chisaki but suddenly came landfag out nowhere and she was weak on her knees. It was ok as long as they were on the same age and he had the advantage now he's going to tap that fishass.
Nigga. He practically skyrocketed into the best character spot.
shit tastes detected
Miuna is the protector of smiels, retard.
>people voting Hikari
Hkari is a painfully generic gary-stu shounen archetype in an unexpectedly good show. You are shit for liking him.
>live together for 5 years
Gee I wonder.
>they don't have any ship-bias unlike you
Pfft, why is it always shipping with you? You're piratically the rabid fangirl who gets her panties up a bunch when someone mentions Chisaki's love for Hikari. Why don't you fuck off to MAL?
You can't be serious.
I know you aren't serious.
>all these MAL fags shitting up the thread
Fucking kill yourselves niggers.
>people pity-voting for Kaname
>liking emotionless girl stealer
>liking smiling alpha male
bitch can't even spell the name.
Hikari is a 14 year-old kid who was a racist cunt until he developed good connections with everyone else and thus tried to understand and help them.
He isn't intelligent by any means, but his development was stellar considering this is a show where he has more than one romantic interest (and we all know most male MCs with this are shit-tier)
I have no idea what you're talking about. But if you're from MAL, why don't you stay there?
And he's still better than Hikari. It took actually an entire cour for him to be likeable and you fags jump on his cock.
I like him more than Tsumugu, now. Hikari is still the best.
Nice strawman, please kill yourself. Just kidding, I love you!
>going to MAL
FUCK OFF, SCUM
So is that Bradherley's Boat or something?
>But if you're from MAL, why don't you stay there?
I like the purebreeds more if anything, but Hikari is my favorite.
>Miunafag trying to stirr up shit with Hikarifags, Tsumugufags and Manakafags
Tsumuga fags BTFO
He only had one vote, I felt bad. I still think Hikari is the best male character
Oh boy. Now this is shitflinging.
Stop fooling yourself, Thess. MAL is your shithole.
I hope the seagod rapes her so her fags will get what they deserve.
Just stop replying to the retard.
Why are we fighting again?
I agree too guys. Sayu is indeed the best Asukara.
I hope she wins the Kaname.
One retard saying anyone who likes what he doesn't like is from MAL.
b-but that's not x
x is obviously better than y. In fact, z is better than y despite how shitty that character is.
Hikari did win, didn't he? Manaka was about to return his feelings before the sea god snatched her away.
Some MALcancer shitting our thread by keep bringing up MAL and posting pics from MAL.
I love her voice
Aladdin pls go
i liked her loli voice better
Hikari is the only character with a proper development. Tsumugu is still a fucking rock with eyes, and Kaname is just a walking-fake smile with psycho eyes. I would have been truly surprised if Hikari hadn't won the poll. It would be great if they developed those 2 characters more and I think that, at least with Kaname, they will do it
Hikari's development is done. It's time now for Miuna's development
I was talking about the male cast.
but I find Tsumugu and Kaname so boring. I'd rather Sayama and his monkey like friend who impregnated someone.
I agree. Tsumugu is too bland, and Kaname hasn't gotten enough exposition.
Hikari and Manaka are the properly developed characters in the show, Tsumugu is a tool for both of their development. Chisaki didn't develop yet but we know her character pretty well, Tsumugu we know nothing at all, and while Kaname gets small focus, he shows more personality than Tsumugu, even if he isn't exactly a good guy like Tsumugu is supposed to be.
I'm loving the second half but I wish they focused more on properly developing Chisaki, Tsumugu and Kaname.
I find the lack of bromanship in this series disturbing... seriously fuck the womyn in this show and their cooties.
I kind of agree. Just give one episode focused on broship or similar and thus you'll get far better male characters, pretty easy.
I agree, I wish the first cour had more of these two hanging out. Hopefully we get some this time around. Who am I kidding?
Well judging from that poll I guess it has just been the same people posting all that Tsumugu shit in these threads
Episode with Sayama driving Hikari, Kaname and Tsumugu into bro adventures and bachelor's party for the other guy when?
>Implying Chisaki won't be there to shit things up
Hikari is my favorite, but I like Tsumugu and Kaname too. I have a hard time grasping why people think liking one character rules out liking the rest.
she sits at the back then like Sayu and Miuna
Will they give alcohol to 14 year-old kids? I'm up for that.
Miunashit won't allow this since she has to be with Hikari 24/7.
If Hikari actually ends up with her, I bet she will be the type of clingy girlfriend that doesn't even allow her boyfriend to hang out with his bros.
They are fishes, not real people!
Womyn should stay home
This is retarded. There was a lot of focus on Chisaki's and Manaka's friendship when Hikari was the narrator.
>mfw this happens and it's all a clever keikaku from Sayama so that he can go around and impregnate Chisaki, Miuna, Sayu and Akari again
silly, anon. Women has rights too!
>Kaname tells her to stay because it's too dangerous
>Tsumugu says it's up to her
>tfw Chisaki's face
I know, anon. I FUCKING KNOW.
Because Hikari was a member of that circle, Miuna has minimal connections with the rest of them.
Okada is obviously painting Kaname as a sexist pig.
Chisaki is my favorite female but damn she's slow as hell, almost dumb.
She's too busy cooking and doing laundry to go on an adventure
It's a good thing the smartest guys like her to stop her from hurting herself.
I can only hope one of them dies or some other event prevents them from getting together.
Would it kill her to just say: "I don't like you, sorry"? She may be confused about her feelings, but it's pretty muchsure she doesn't have any for poor kaname.
The guy clearly stated that he loves her and he'll still like her after the timeskip, he even confirms it now he's awake, but she just shrugs it off, such useless meat.
When she was 14 years old I could understand, but now she almost 20, she's an adult now, can't she reject him and spare him all the suffering?
Don't even suggest such an awful thing, you little shit.
She secretly likes the attention the boys are giving her, and she masturbates to their suffering every singly day inside her room. Hence why she prefers to stay at home.
Something doesn't change anon.
Jesus those Chisakis
Chisaki stays home-mind
Because Chisaki is dumb as fuck. Would solve half of her problems if she just stated she likes him as a friend and is confused about who she truly loves.
Her selfless act is just a cover because she's actually selfish as fuck, not to mention indecisive.
KanamexTrashcan girl: 1
HikarixHis father: 1
Most popular fanart girl: Manaka
Most popular fanart guy: Hikari
Most popular fanart couple: Chisaki and Tsumugu
Picture: "A lull in the sea (Naginoasu...)"
Is that whale at the background making fun of Chisaki's weight complex?
I don't buy Sayu's love for Kaname at all.
It makes no fucking sense, and it's the one thing that's tainting the show for me right now.
He pats her on the head, and then she loves him for five years? What a joke. It feels forced as all hell.
Hopefully my enjoyment of the suffering it brings will make me give it a pass.
Chisaki's pretty irrelevant other than being Tsumugu's housewife. Tsumugu and the professor are moving the plot with Miuna.
I'd be okay with that. With all the white-knighting it definitely fits his image.
It's a childhood crush. She's still just a kid.
She's scared that taking a choice would destroy them. Confessing to Hikari didn't change a thing, he only knew she was hopelessly pinning after him. But telling Kaname to fuck off would.
It would make me sad to see Chisaki alone and upset, but it's much better than that boring little shit getting his hands all over her.
If they kissu, I will flip my shit. My anger will kindle my soul into a white-hot inferno. There will be riots. If they are one-man riots, then so be it.
>Will they give alcohol to 14 year-old kids?
Fish alcohol must be different though because it doesn't mix with water. Otherwise you couldn't pour it into a cup and drink it.
Sayu says it was dumb as fuck and she's moved on but can't before Kaname appeared and stole her heart again.
So ItaruxAkari is nowhere to be found. I disliked them anyway...
Just accept the inevitable Tsumugu x Chisaki, anon. The sooner the better.
Chisaki will die. Right now, her function is boil water for Kaname's and Tsumugu's tea while Tsumugu's the one involved with the actual plot, becoming a relevant person.
He and Miuna seemed to be the most plot-involved ones.
She started liking him back at episode 3 when they cleared up the thing about the Ojoushi-sama, when she hard a proper conversation with him but after that she only could watch.
Hey, I feel the same way man. Maybe my outlook will change if Tsumugu gets some real development, but it might be too late the way things are looking. Do I have to be a girl to like him or something?
Nobody gives a fuck about Itaru.
Five years, for fuck's sake.
Girls that age fall in love easily, fine, I get it. They also fall out of love easily, and get all dizzy over the next cute guy that comes along and pats their head.
If they reveal that she has other issues, and she clings on to impossible, romanticized ideas to make up for some psychological bullshit, then maybe I'll come to understand. But as it stands, it's pretty ridiculous.
It took way too long. I'd believe it more if they explained that she 'got over it' a year or two after, then that would actually be believable. They could still have her reignite her crush on his return.
Miuna will almost drown next episode but Hikari save her by doing CPR the non lewd way
Apart from every female from the sea who lays eyes on him.
Why doesn't Kaname just get a clue that she will never see him as anything more than just a friend and choose the superior Sayu anyway?
Did you pay attention to Sayu's background? She's a social pariah and has issues with getting along with people except Miuna who has her brushes with occasionally. We don't see her talking with anyone in her class other than Miuna and displays a dislike to any boys.
Kaname raised the bar that high. It's not even Sayu, every girl of the class except for Miuna were wetting their panties for that senpai to come there which had Sayu looking all worried.
Kaname's just that charming.
>Maybe my outlook will change if Tsumugu gets some real development
I'm with you there. Maybe. He obviously has some unexplored family issues, which will hopefully be developed.
But I think I've fallen for Chisaki a little too hard. I don't think I'd be happy if anyone got her, to be honest. She's wonderful.
Tsumugu kind of stopped being relevant after the time-skip. Now that Miuna became plot relevant, he'll fade into the background even more. Which is sad, because he has bunch of doors for development right there.
Because Sayu wasn't of his age until recently and, to his credit, he hesitated to chase Sayu when Chisaki called for him. That's a good sign.
seriously, i have no idea how he got two pretty sea women to fall for him.
But he and the professor dude were the ones handling shit with Miuna last episode. Miuna with her sudden magic powers and Tsumugu and his sidekick with Science.
I wish Sayu were relevant.
Time for best song
>Tsumugu kind of stopped being relevant after the time-skip
Oh please, he helps the professor in researching underwater villages. Most probably to help find Hikari and the others for Chisaki. He also draws in the raging fangirls.
>You'll never be a lonely sea woman who chases after beta poor man
I can understand Tsumugu because he's attractive, supportive without asking anything in return (saved them when they ran out of ena, built those pools, etc) athletic and apparently intelligent with a career in the future.
But this guy is an ugly nobody.
There might be an episode for Tsumugu in the future. They can't introduce the fact that he has a bad relationship with his mom and just drop it.
>every girl of the class except for Miuna were wetting their panties for that senpai to come there
Fair point. Perhaps I just don't understand how charming he is. I don't understand the female mind at all.
Still. Five years?
Whatever. I'll just let it go, for the sake of enjoying the show as much as I can.
9 episodes aren't enough.
It'll be brought up when the old man dies. I don't want him to die. The old man is based.
Fuck I hate this hi hi hi part, kills the song for me
Fuck you and your shit tastes.
I also don't get how two people can live under the same roof for 5 years without anything happening although they were attracted to each other at some point.
Heehee heehee heehee heehee.
He's the most beautiful member of the male cast. He's helpful, gallant and charming. Remember how he convinced that old woman in first cour to support their cause?
He's that good.
He and the professor are just telling you plot stuff because there's no way you would know just by looking at things, now Miuna is going there with the fish people, in the actual village to see it live. Tsumugu was far more relevant, he was basically the one who pushed Manaka to change more, to become more interested in land people and eventually move things foward between her and Hikari, he WAS part of the circle of friends.
No anon, you kill the song.
survivors guilt retard.
he kinda reminds of fye from trc, so I can't help that there's something fake about him
>being this much of a faggot
They also led them to where they should look.
There will probably be an episode where the mom shows up at the hospital to see the grandpa and Tsumugu gets pissed.
>implying they didn't already fuck
Why do you think they get so flustered when they're alone?
>The old man is based.
Fuck that old geezer. Not only he fished in illegal areas in the first episode without getting any sanctions, but he also Judo throwed Hikari to the ground for punching Itaru which we all know deserves it.
No need to state the obvious.
Almost everything about Kaname is fake except when he's eventually talking with Hikari, Chisaki and was actually nice with Sayu the few times he spoke with her. Honestly, he just doesn't really care about Manaka, as it shows.
>high impact sexual violence
>he also Judo throwed Hikari to the ground
That wound up catering to my fetish so I forgive him.
haha, what a fucking tool
He is fake, that's what is wrong with him. He's the opposite of Sayu. Sayu wears her heart on her sleeve even when she holds back things, Kaname puts up a mask under his smile.
That's why they are good for each other.
Same goes for Chisaki and Tsumugu, they have personalities that match. One is emotional to stir feelings and the other stoic to ground her.
Tsumugu, CHisaki Gramps and Tsumugu's mpm will be wrapped in 2-3 eps all relating a subplot
Tsumugu might be out of the circle, but Chisaki is out of the circle, too.
He's a seafag, those laws didn't apply for him.
OP 2 Single in Feb 5
ED 2 Single Feb 18
I read this as "Miuna's chest has grown up a lot.", holy shit, thank god it wasn't actually that perverted.
>That's why they are good for each other
But Sayu only knows the fake side of him. That's who she has fallen for.
She'll end up going for ntr-kun once she realizes how Kaname really is. Guaranteed.
She's already done her tsuntsun all over him. It's going to happen.
>Judo throwed Hikari to the ground for punching Itaru which we all know deserves it.
Hikari went out cold after that. Probably for hours. I know, disturbing isn't it? He's older, he should know Hikari's actions was expected from a 14 year old kid especially when his sister's future was on the line.
Once a seafag anon. He got himself banished for some reason.
Uroko shows up next episode and he will introduce ages up Anti-Spira.... Sea Goddess Manaka. She will have white hair and shiny scales. She will be the harbinger of the Ice Age
No, she has noticed his real face, when she told him about Chisaki and Tsumugu and he ignored her. She knows the real him.
The fake Kaname is the real Kaname, he's someone who would put a mask to conceal he's hurt and be charming. That's part of his personality. She was able to see at least once or twice (when he told her to fuck off for hurting Hikari, remember?) his real colors far more Chisaki did.
Hikari deserved it at that time. He was pissed about her sister having an affair with that bland faggot (I hate him), but he was annoying all the people around him at the same time.
That too, and it affects Tsumugu's relevance as well because he she lives in his house and he has interest in her.
Is it snow or salt? Or both?
I've been meaning to ask this for a while.
Did the salt snow increase the albedo of the area, leading to a decrease in temperature and hence regular snow?
Back in ep6, Chisaki and Manaka didn't know Hikari and Kaname were there to watch the Tomoebi. This series will end with everyone except for Manaka watching the Tomoebi together.
He fell the fuck to sleep right during the point where he had confessed. He's still mentally back in that time.
>Manaka's conversation with Tsumugu that is yet to be revealed
Did you miss OP2 or something?
Initially yes, and the geezer threw a net at him. When Itaru revealed he has no plans on marrying Akari and begins doubting, Hikari was pissed and mounted him and is about to bring out the donkey kong inside him until the stupid old man knocked him out cold.
>except for Manaka
Please. She's obviously coming back.
I sure hope it isn't snow. There's no way the stuff they're wearing will keep them warm if it's real snow.
It's cold enough for them to see their breath and to have ice on the sea but not enough for real snow to fall.
I want to hear that classical guitar piece already. The one that begins with natural harmonics
yes the convo between Tsumugu and Manaka wasn't fully discoles to the audience. Manaka talked about how Tsumugu was like the sun and then Manaka uses her hand to shield her from Tsumugu. Tsumugu asks "What is it is?" and the scene shifts to Hikari
Damn I still have the strawpoll open and y'all niggas still voting for Hikari
true. Why the heck are they sometimes dressed like it's summer, then. This is weird.
No, it's not obvious that she'll come back.
I mean, the stuff on the water must be ice, right?
Could it be slabs of salt? I don't even know.
Has it been stated explicitly?
Slabs of ice would only form in temperatures colder than is needed for snow fall.
Hikari is the moon, Tsumugu the sun. Manaka chose the moon.
Read the OP.
I liked that track in ep3 where Hikari was reminiscing about his mother's death. They actually said her name: Hokage Sakashima.
Also that scene where Akira asked Akari what "tomorrow" is and Akari gave him a cute explanation that some how encompassed the show\s theme.
"Tomorrow is when you sleep and when you wake up, it's Tomorrow"
You realize that the show is about the characters trying to reach the metaphysical "Tomorrow"
This show has all men concealing their emotions of pain and hurt (Hikari with anger and then bravado; Kaname with superficial joy and friendliness; Tsumugu with stoic unreadable expression) and all the women as some hysterical idiots who can't control their emotions and run away like retards or cry or have bitch rants. The only except was Akari.
I also find Manaka's actions sort of awkward when Hikari confesses to her the 2nd time. Like she's about to reject him, I don't know but that's my impression of that scene.
They live in Japan, they were probably used to cold winters already. It's also warmer during the day because of the sun so its more bearable.
What I wanna know is what I'm supposed to do when Miuna inevitably loses
your face when they play this in the final ep
write mean things about okada on various websites
Accept it because she never stood a chance in the first place. Save these questions for when we aren't discussing more interesting things.
This show seriously has the best pout faces. It makes me feel all fuzzy inside.
Can Okada into english?
Just learn how to moonspeak "Okada is a fucking cuntrag" and you're good.
She can probably understand
>FUCK YOU OKADA
I liked the 1st cour so far because it tackled more issues. The 2nd cour so far is about OTP wars. Fuck that shit.
Tumblr/lebbit/MAL pls go.
just like real life
What I'm trying to say is that Manaka's conversation with Tsumugu is on OP 2.
Go watch it and skip to the part where Manaka speak.
>Alternate universe storyline where everything shown in the original preview happens
Please make it happen.
Send pictures of your dick to Okada.
Also, the plot is developing in a more slowly pace and this is not always bad. On the contrary. This show has improved very much by doing so.
And the 1st wasn't? Please.
You're already cherry-picking and it has only been a few weeks.
must be the one with Manaka's voice over
I've been in this website for 6 years and just a few times per month I've seen people having actual character discussions for on-going shows. Not that NagiAsu threads are gold, we have shit lifting and waifuwars, but it's nice to actually discuss a show once in a while.
by various websites I meant 4chan and 2ch
The fuck are going on? I just said my favorite track was that classical guitar piece.
There's no Manaka speaking. That's the singer, Ray.
And that song is from Miuna's POV. It's about unrequited love.
Less popular shows tend to have better discussion.
Perhaps I remember incorrectly, but the waifu and shipping shit-flings were less aggressive around episodes 4 to 12, when the show was less popular.
I am glad more and more people are enjoying the show though, despite the small drop in thread quality.
Have you participated in the weekly threads? it was minimal at least. It was more about faggots crying NTR and Manaka hate.
If Tsumugu is the sun. Hikari is the Moon, shining its light in the dark
Fucking Chisaki every time holy shit I want to squeeze everything.
The first cour concentrated more on developing characters and their relationships. The story was there, but it crept in slowly before coming into full effect at the festival. Now we have more story because shit finally happened.
Then that obviously mean that Tsumugu and Hikari will fuck.
there will be a movie that wraps everything up with a 14 year old Akira meeting Manaka who awakens
I just saw this PV the first time. I think it's been clear from the start who manaka really loves: "I want to walk alongside you in this season brimming with LIGHT" (while showing the moon).
That's Miuna's voice, isn't it.
I'm so glad I'm not the only one who noticed that. Did you catch Manaka checking out the moon in episode 13 after heading back down after be fished by Tsumugu
>Hikari - the light
>Tsumugu - the sun
What does it mean? For Manaka, I mean.
Manaka will tell Hikari that he is the moon. I just love how the environment of the show tells a story too
Yes, it was basically the opposite of the sun, which to her, was Tsumugu. So in the end, she decided that her place was with the moon, which stands for Hikari.
I wonder why this show isn't popular? AnoHana ended being very popular, but I'm liking NagiAsu way better the way the drama was handled.
I'd say it's fairly popular now. We get threads daily at the moment, whereas at the beginning of the first cour we'd only get a couple per week.
I guess first few episodes didn't really hook people.
I think episodes when the village starts to prepare for hibernation is where things really start getting good
It makes me sad that there are no more dolis in the show.
I would say when Hikari started to self-reflect in episode 3 and when Ena was introduced. And the whole Akari situation. When episode 5 hit with Miuna arc, that's when viewrs took the bait hook line and sinker
People hated Hikari and dropped it. It's painful to think about since he became so great. We still get people coming in these threads sometimes asking if it got better.
something's been on my mind lately. Urokobo wanted to stop Akari and Hikari from departing even if it meant freezing them to death. Then dad intervened. My question is why did he do that? The people who went up there weren't treated that way, were they?
AnoHana was also garbage, especially the ending. We all know that Japan loves shit. No, seriously. That ending was an abomination and a terrible kill on an emotional buildup. Made me feel awkward.
Hikari: I am annoyed at Akari. I'm annoyed at her stupid boyfriend...
At the same time it makes me glad, because Akari is finally thinking of herself for once.
Well, they were kind of important to the village. Hikari was next in line to be their priest/leader.
I missed all the threads at the end of the 1st cour. Was there a shitstorm because of the whole sea god's wrath and timeskip thing?
There's nothing like a shitstorm on /a/ to draw in a bunch of new viewers.
I started watching around the time the sixth episode came out, and I could tell that I might have felt about worse about it with the Miuna arc being one of the main focuses.
>sea village is literally modern Japan (muh birthrates)
>Human/Fish hybrids "don't have ena" plot device Miuna?
>they don't come back
There's all sorts of reasons they want to force them to stay.
I like how the drama in NagiAsu wasn't slapped into your face. Sometimes, Okada exaggerates a little, but the characters didn't get on my nerves like in AnoHana. I dunno, AnoHana just felt very forced for some reason.
I was more pissed at WE FOUND YOUUUU like a bunch of autists. It was really awkward how it was worded. I wonder if it was the subs or if it literally was that terribly scriped.
OP2 = ED1 > ED2 > OP1
You know this to be true.
The whole thing gave me second-hand embarrassment.
AnoHana suffered miserably from a lack of character drawout. They rushed through over half of the casts backstory and they suffered miserably as characters for it. It definitely needed to be a 2-cour. Hell, all of her shows need to be at least 2-cour. Okada fleshes out characters very well, but needs the time to do it.
Yes, it was pretty big. Especially the part where people thought Kaname was kill.
This is the line I'm referring to
>I was looking at you, never far away, and yet you seem out of reach
Which is perfect how Manaka describes Tsumugu as her "sun".
You too? I was getting all teary and then that happened. I felt incredibly awkward all of a sudden. The only other ending to a show that made me so upset was Kyoukai no Kanata. Seriously, fucking rushed or poorly developed characters in endings that need it really enrage me.
>ED2 > OP1
Nah, it would be horrible as a 2-cour. Nagiasu works because it has an interesting fantasy-based overarching plot. All anohana had was Menma's wish and it got stupid quick. 26 episodes of idiots crying over the smallest thing would be absolutely terrible.
but it was Miuna's voice, not HanaKana's
ED 2 wins for super symbolism. I could spend hours trying to interpret all that imagery
They're all great but the atmosphere of ED2 is better.
That PV suits the 1st cour very well. It can be interpreted in many ways.
Miuna's seiyuu will voice Tsugumi in Nisekoi :D
Please kill yourself.
>idiots crying over the smallest thing
Crying was the latest craze in Japan back then, there were even "crying clubs" starting up where people could go to cry.
that, and the characters weren't acting like total bitches towards each other just because their crush liked someone else.
>there were even "crying clubs" starting up where people could go to cry.
The symbolism of ED1 was pretty on-the-nose, in hindsight.
It's probably all part of a trick, and they're baiting us into thinking the symbolism in ED2 is relevant.
what the fuck
I can't tell if Manaka is talking to Hikari or Tsumugu in that PV
so I noticed that Kaname uses boku, Hikari ore...what does Tsumugu use?
I'd give it a go.
It's more likely that you're being paranoid. Studios put time and money into tiny details and they have to go through many stages of approval before they're made. It's absurd to think that a studio would 'bait' your expectations when they're probably foreshadowing the series' ending.
Uh... Tsumugu already did a few episodes ago
Tried listening to it again and it seems that it really isn't HanaKana's voice.
the first time I listened to the first few seconds of the ED I thought it was Ishikawa Chiaki. Is it because of the ghostly hihihi's? They reminded me of Uninstall and Prototype
Why couldn't it have it been Sayu x Hikari? They have better chemistry with each other.
dat barely panty shot
I miss her corset
I find 'ore' to be really childish. The beta-as-fuck MCs in shitty harem shows always use it and it makes me hate them even more. It just feels off. Hikari using it feels reasonable though.
Tsumugu seems to use 'ore' as well, just watching the last episode. I can't remember if he used it as a kid though.
While I do agree that this is probably the closest you get to a confession from Tsumugu...Tsumugu said the fish and Manaka and the sea were pretty, too. So maybe Chisaki simply didn't see it as an expression of love. She's kinda slow anyway. I mean, when she asked Tsumugu at the end of episode 15 how he knew that she'd met Hikari...it was obvious, her eyes and cheeks were red and swollen from all the crying (or was she blushing from Tsumugu?) and it doesn't take a genius to guess the reason, especially if it's Tsumugu we're talking about.
I don't know if she's ready to cry or jizz her pants in happiness. Probably a mix of both.
doli thighs are truly the best
He used 'ore' as a kid too.
Fuck, that took a while to find. The little bastard hardly talks at all.
Thanks for looking it up, anon! It's odd, I always thought ore sounded more masculine than boku.. Japanese is a difficult language.
I miss Manaka.
Her adorable face was always the high point of every week last season.
Well, that's wrong, "Boku" is way more childish while "Ore" is more masculine and tends to be used more among high-schoolers.
It's supposed to.
I just feel that sometimes it's like they're trying too hard to be masculine, which makes them sound childish. You get unbearable faggot MC characters using it, and it feels wrong.
Boku is pretty standard. It's the standard casual/semi-casual one for men of all ages.
Using ore just makes them sound like they're overcompensating, especially when they're not a manly character at all. See: every harem MC ever.
Damn, I'd hate to have grown up in Japan.
I had more than enough self-consciousness issues without having to worry about how people would judge the words I chose to refer to myself with.
Sage for blogshit.
I believe you need to rationalize your hate then, the fact harem's MCs use "ore" to refer as themselves doesn't make it childish.
I want to have rough dirty couch sex with her /a/
Genderswap the characters.
How much money do you think PA blew for these backgrounds?
Meh, just genderswap some and make the story TsumugukoxHikari.
probably not much
Nobody would like Hikarin even after her development.
Work you mean?
Miuna would rape Hikari
Sayu would rape Kaname
Chisaki would have an enormous cock to compensate for her huge rack
>Tsumugu vs Kaname waifuwars
>Hikari a shit
>Miunafags vs Manakafags for who gets the main heroine
>Sayu getting called a dumb beta
>Chisaki a stud who attracts all the bitches
>Chisaki a stud who attracts all the bitches
The lonely house husband?
>Chisaki a stud who attracts all the bitches
He'll be typical harem betafag who is after a bitch who ignores him while two hot bitches fell for him for no reason.
Yes, while Tsumuko is the college student wearing glasses and miniskirt with a ZR labcoat.
>Hikari stays a shit
>MANaka is tolerable
>Kaname is best girl
>Chisaki is embarrassing to watch
>Everyone bitches that Tsumugu is a Rei clone
>Miuna and Sayu are irrelevant
>People remember Itaru and like him because he has tits now
>loyal, supportive, quiet
>intelligent and athletic
>likely to have huge tits and curves
>not a drama queen
Her waifufags would be obnoxious.
Manaka a shit
Save that for a shit thread.
Butthurt will flow because MANaka chose Hikari over her.
Only in anime that kind of thing is permitted, in my college you don't enter a lab or use a coat if you're not wearing pants and tennis.
I would probably go from Miunafag to Hikarifag, because tomboys are a miracle of the universe.
Well, yeah, when you're in a lab you need to cover up in case shit splashes on you.
I would go for Tsumugu.
Why did you post that loli?
watching the one scene with kaname watching chisaki and tsumugu looking like a married couple was too hard to watch for some reason.
inb4 because it hits close home
Miuna would be just like Minegishi but shittier.
because she is the composer
Tsumugu Chisaki OVA that starts after Ofunehiki and ends before episode 14
Time for that inevitable mistaken for Manaka scene which will break many Miunafag hearts and produce endless overflowing tears.
Ray 5th Single Ebb and Flow will contain Nagi. YES! FUCK YES!
will anyone translate the 4koma?
any compilation of the ED cards?
I can't wait for the high-res
I doubt it like most of those pics in the main site, you won't get high res
Goddamn, fuck you, PA
They want money. You're gonna have to wait for the scans.
tell me your secrets anon
I want sempai to notice me.
I want to protect her smile.
I want to experience the pleasure of being cummed inside
>Sempai will never notice me
Hikari looks pretty feminine already, so it wouldn't be much of a change.
I am playing Spore right now and enjoy it.
Manaka is the only one who didn't experience some sort of NTR.
I want her to get NTRd hard.
>Tsumugu still beating Kaname
NTR'd by Chisaki
>she starts to love hikari
>"I'm with Miuna now"
>Desperately goes back to tsumugu
>"I have Chisaki now"
>Runs to Kaname
>"I'd rather kill myself but I got the best girl sayu."
God damn Manaka is adorable until I remember her voice.
>Uroko-sama, please accept me back!
>Sorry, I already unfreezed some other virgin
>Leaves the shrine, crying
>Gets fished up in a net
>Raped by the towns fishermen
will anyone translate?
This is seriously one of my favourite shows now, I just hope they don't fuck up the ending
Where are all these ED cards I keep on seeing coming from?
It would be even worse if Hikari wasn't an option, bro. Kaname was just so dull for most of the first cour he felt completely irrelevant.
are there actually any NnA doujins out there?
I honestly think Kaname could be such a great character if they just tried to develop him more, I hope there's a scene where he reveals that he's really sad about Chisaki and how he tries his best and nothing works, I think then a lot of people could like him more as a character.
the battle of ragnarok shall occur between manaka and miuna
This is what I'm thinking when I see Miuna with coat.
Or the kind of girlfriend that will act really sad every time Hikari goes out, making him feel guilty about leaving her
Akira as MC? After this I would like to see shows about the other sea villages. Different types of stories
Does anyone find it odd how the only thing she does when not talking is look really fucking sexy all the time.
Such a lewd woman.
Such a MILF
>implying she isnt even sexier when her voice comes out of her mouth
Sayama is a lucky guy.
voice by Eureka, another character to produce halfbreeds
people marathoning this show just keep getting stupider and stupider, and it seems like theyre all Miunafags
Those legs are way too long.
Translated from a few threads ago.
This series needs more fanart. Somewhat disappointed that it's not as popular as I thought
I want more.
> Kaname beating Tsumugu
Poor Kaname. It sucks being the series' punching bag ;_;
Oh wow. This morning he had three votes.
>by 3 votes
Jesus those arms
art made by tsumugufags is very quality
Time for a new thread?
Miuna protects Hikaris smile. Hikari protects everyone elses smiles.
What? No. How is it possibly time?
announcing their marriage
>implying it's not true
is he smiling?
Hikari, Miuna and Kaname to get water powers later on?
He was smiling to Tsumugu.
Like he was happy to see him. You know he was full of shit.
>She really loves the way he loves Manaka
My god Chisaki might be a genuine NTRfag.
Chisaki was me in cour one. I really loved the way he loved Manaka.
Should've obvious that Okada wanted us to self-insert into her.
I'd insert into her in more ways than one.
I want to put my dick in Sayu.
i'm thinking nopan like in the op, she wants hikari's sea dick that bad
I want the dolis to wear their old doli clothes. Just imagine how tight they would look.
Manaka please never wake up.
Miuna deserves Hikari so much more.
She really doesn't.
I don't understand why everyone suddenly jumped on the Miuna train post-timeskip. She's definitely cute, but all she really had before was some mother-daughter development, and a crush on Hikari.
Manaka and Hikari both supported each other in different ways and have a much deeper relationship and more personal interactions and so on. Also childhood friend bonus.
This is beyond stupid. Miuna hasn't been clingy at all, she's been leagues more mature than Manaka.
>Hikari comes back and is completely thrown off by his surroundings
>Understands his feelings unlike Manaka ever did in any way
>Tries to help him in any way she can
>Hikari clearly doesn't want to see much more change
>Miuna decides she won't for him
There's been nothing about being clingy, just about her understanding Hikari better than anyone else.
> childhood friend bonus
Implying childhood friend ever wins
I find it interesting to compare Miuna to Manaka.
>Miuna starts off loving Hikari more in EP14 than Manaka did in EP1.
>Manaka had her feelings for other male characters prodded nearly every other episode, while Miuna is focused on Hikari only.
>It took twelve episodes for Manaka to get to confession stage, but only 5/6 for Miuna to.
>Manaka has a huge advantage because she knew Hikari from childhood, while Miuna's rate of affection growth is in a whole other league.
Manaka deserves happiness, but it seems like Miuna will outpace her.
>She really doesn't.
She understands Hikari better than Manaka ever did, who couldn't decide whether or not she had any feelings for him which we still don't know for sure.
>You're like the sun, Tsumugu
>all she really had before was some mother-daughter development
And then everything that she's done after the time-skip in relation to Hikari. All we ever got from Manaka was her crushing on Tsumugu, acting like a spoiled child when she's told about hibernation, and crying a lot.
She "supported" Hikari the same way everyone else did with the maiden and boat ceremony. Why? Because of Tsumugu, and her hope that the people of the sea and land can reconcile so she can get that land dick after finding out that doing so would mean abandoning her home.
The only remotely selfless thing she's ever done for anyone else in this show was trying to save Hikari's sister.
She's a shit.
Not only is Miuna actually sure of her feelings, unlike Manaka, but she's more intense about them.
She's extremely clear-headed and forward, which is why people like her so much on /a/. The same reason we think kaname is a bro, because he's not taking 12 episodes to understand his feelings and accept them. They get it.
And sadly it seems like they're the ones who are going to get fucked over.
GUYS, WHAT IF MIUNA AND MAKANA BECOMES ONE SO THAT EVERYBODY WINS AND NO TEARS WILL BE SHED!!!!
>self-inserting as a slut
That's stupid, anon.
Hikari is not a fucking object.
It can't be helped. I like both Miuna and Makana equally.
>I like both Miuna and Makana equally
Sure you do.
He's a great, neglected person who should realize Manaka is not worth his time.
>Sure you do.
Thank you for your confirmation?
Oh Sayu, that doesn't mean It'll have to apply to you. You're too depressed about this and you put yourself down too much.
I-I want to protect you, Sayu.
It's Manaka, not Makana.
It's quite possible that Miuna inherited Manaka's ena, if Manaka is dead.
The only reason I ever wanted Manaka to get with Hikari was because I thought Hikari deserved to have his feelings returned, but now that someone better than Manaka who is certain about her feelings for him has become available, I couldn't give less of a shit about what happens to Manaka.
She can fuck the autist for all I care.
Hikari x Miuna
Sayu/Chisaki x Kaname
Crybaby x Autist
I really want this to happen so we can stop worrying about ruining our ships.
So, why was she sad when hikari confessed to her?
Because she'll have to reject him
>I'll have to break your heart
>I'm so happy I love you Hiikun lets make some sea fishes
>I'm gay for Chisaki
Ruins their friendship because she wants to support him while being in love with Tsumugu.
Number one. She didn't love Hikari that way, she was coerced into thinking about him. She loved Tsumugu from the start and was embarressed about fishknee in front of him; on the other hand, Hikari was friendzoned quite hard because she didn't care about what he thought about her.
Despite all the hints of Manaka acknowledging Hikari as a man and seeing him in a different light, why do I feel she'll reject him after the ofunehiki?
Because Manaka looks at the sun, not the moon.
Tsumugu was enough to give her second thoughts about going Hikari. Hikari was always second best to her.
I hate you so much!
She also knew about Chisaki's feelings towards Hikari and didn't want to screw over one of her best friends. Probably just a clusterfuck of mixed emotions and feelings that caused the sadness and reaction - it's not as straightforward as muh tsumugu
You forgot the part where Miuna didn't even consider that Hikari might be upset from being forced to hibernate for five years. She had to listen in on Hikari breaking down to finally get it.
It feelt like a dream come true for her. She's still quite deluded at that point.
That was in the beginning of cour 1. After she talks to Tsumugu, she's shown looking at the moon.
>You forgot the part where Miuna didn't even consider that Hikari might be upset from being forced to hibernate for five years.
You mean someone who was reunited with the person they love after not seeing them for five years, unsure if they'd ever return, was swept up in happiness and didn't understand the immediate exactly what happened when Hikari was hibernating?
Yeah, imagine that. Here's the thing though, she didn't cry and run away when she fucked up only to be vague about how she felt towards the situation. She manned the fuck up and did the right thing. She recognized Hikari's anxiety over the situation before anyone else did.
but can the moon's light reach her from underwater? The sun can probably.
She looks at the moon with this expression after blushing, smiling, and crying while holding her hand out to Tsumugu talking about the sun.
Not very supportive of the argument that she loves Hikari
Rewatching the scene, her reaction to his second confession is extremely vague.
But there seems to be more evidence towards the idea that she's going to tell him that he's precious to her, despite not loving him in a romantic sense.
>that track that plays after Manaka tells Hikari to wave that flag
I want that OST so badly.
Manaka's mom > Chisaki's mom > Hikari's mom
>Tsumugu just scoops her up again.
Dead indeed > alive.
