Just started watching Heroman today and holy shit I fucking hate it. Tell me why it even gets positive reviews. I had high hopes for it being a Stan Lee OG and all but that expectation was crushed and I'm just barely 3 eps in. Tell me /a/, should I just fucking ditch it? I don't want to waste my time if the whole series is a piece of shit.
>>
Starts out slow.
Gets better later on.
Has some of the best last 2-3 episodes you could ever hope for.

>Stan Lee
Why would you think that adds anything good to it?
>>
I just started watching it too and I hate how all of the action sequences so far are so slow and just go on forever, does this get any better?

I find most of the characters pathetic, even the MC. He's got good things going for him (hero robot, hot cheerleader wants his dick, etc) and yet he is so fucking useless and takes forever to do the most obvious things; also the bully has an unhealthy obsession with the MC and his butt buddy. The fuck?

idk man...idk...I guess cause I usually like what Marvel has to offer :/

IMO its just your avg shit anime with high production value. The robot is fucking ugly and stupid (i mean its so OP does it need a lil pipsqueek telling it what to do?) and the transformation is clique as fuck. I just dont see the appeal unless the target audience is <3yrs old.
>>
I doubt Stan Lee had all that much to do with it.

stan lee =/= marvel.
the most prominent feat stan lee has was that he literally held marvel comics over his shoulders on its darkest hour. but his most notable stories and characters are collaboration works where he took the whole credit.
>>
>>101375276
it's so lame that it has stan lee plastered all over it, man.
>>
>>101375378
I'll admit I don't know much about Stan Lee in general and based my expectations onto his reputation. So is he basically Steve Jobs of murrikan comics?

Psy is cool, he is the only character in the entire show I can genuinely respect 'cause he stands by his bro, but that's all the show has got going for it
>>
>>101375440
he's more like the thomas alva edison of comics.

Butthurt Teslafags go back to /sci/. Ed4life.

Someone who finished Heroman here.

The series is very genre-savvy, and things will get ridiculous if you notice the combination of things you see in American series (the jock, the cheerleader and the nice guy) and Japanese series. That said, it's a decent watch if you don't treat it like something else just because Stan Lee is in it.

I hated it when it aired. Watched it like last year or at least about 15 episodes and enjoyed it. Still gotta finish it up, but who knows when I'll get to that.

tesla was a spineless idiot who deserved every single thing that came to him.
>>
To be continued...?
>>
The first story arc slogs on and overall it's nothing amazing but I did find it enjoyable. Especially Dr. Minami and his mad science squad. They really made the show every time they showed up and it's a shame that we'll never see a villainman.
>>
I loved this show.
