Out of all the anime I've watched there's one series that I still to this day just don't get.

Kara no Kyoukai

I watched the series and sat there thinking "What was the point".
Sure the art was fantastic and the characters had potential. But the show just didn't do a thing.
There were no points where I was left thinking about what's going to happen. Nor were there any feels from it. No rush, no saddening sequence, nothing. Just good animation.

So can someone tell me what makes this anime "good"?

I've watched 5 of the movies and gave up on it.
Was just wasting my time.
Is there a point to seeing the rest of the movies if the first 5 just had nothing to them?

I will say if the story was structured better I'd really like the MC. She reminds me of Motoko in GTS.
