So I finally finished watching this. Incredible show, possibly my new all-time favorite. But I have a question about the production.

I noticed the animation quality and style would change (seemingly randomly) throughout the series. There were a few parts where I remember the animation style literally changing every few seconds, which was really disorienting. What's the deal? Were animation cells lost over time and had to be replaced or something? I noticed the OVA was apparently released over a very long period, so this would make sense.

It's a great series but don't forget about the best anime space opera Crest/Banner of the stars.

You see, the circum bandwidth deweaving caused by the fact that the official release was not coded in 10bit makes for severe fragmentation over the course of time, you should have noticed a severe decrease in audio quality in the oldest episodes as well thanks to the rotational velocidensity not being preserved properly since technology had not advanced far enough for us to handle such smooth highs with colored sound.

Ah, I didn't even think of the circum bandwidth deweaving. Good point.
