Let's argue about Jump, /a/
>Jojo in great tier
You fucked up, that's all I'm saying.
>putting Rokudenashi alongside Bleach and Shitriko
There's no greater offence than that
but what if I liked Toriko just as much as Rokudenashi Blues. Also Bleach felt weird to find a good spot. Some arcs were great and some were absolute shit, so I put it in the middle.
We're doing this again? Maaaan
Then you('d) have shit taste
Move OP to shit 4 (now renamed shit 5)
Wait wait wait, people who aren't thirteen year old girls actually liked Death Note?
>le disciple ultime
What kind of communist language is that? We only speak FREEDOM here
Hey buddy, have you got the wrong thread?
Did anyone read Jigoku Sensei Nube?
I hate you and who ever made this image with the passion of hellfire.
but sket dance was pretty good
AO NO EXORCIST ISN'T EVEN JUMP
also where's Nisekoi AKA consistent top 5 of JUMP and Gintama AKA the most offensive series JUMP ever dares to serialize
>Bleach in Good
Come the fuck on
Oh shit, I totally spaced about Gintama. I was looking for a pic and I think I just forgot to put it on the list
Remove Blade of Immortal, Farmland Saga and Never ending boatride
And you're left with RICE saga?
Funny how you couldn't find any "funny" name to Botl. May be you haven't read it at all?
>sket dance in the same tier as reborn
Really? I mean, really?
>No To Love Ru in shamelessly horrible tier
>Jojo not in Kami tier
>No Gintama or One Punch Man in Elder Kami tier
I didn't think it was bad, but just kinda boring. Reborn was bad though
>Ao no Exorcist
Ok, I accept that. I love Sket Dance, but I can see how others may find it boring. Especially if you only read the beggining. Volume 10 of the series is still one of the best things ever made, though
Now Reborn is just terrible. I really can't understand how it got enough fans to last 42 volumes.
Kenshin and JoJo have to move up in ranks. YYH or MUSCLE or whatever the fuck it was called are not nearly as popular nor good nor significant as those.
RokuBuru also has to move up.
Bleach shold move down, what the fuck is wrong with you, how can you say it's good.
Jump Square, but yes. It is.
>MUSCLE or whatever the fuck it was called
Looks like you have some learning to do
I'm pretty sure One Punch Man isn't Jump
It's in the American version.
I've only read the beginning. If Sket Dance gets better later, then Imll definitely pick it back up, 'cause I loved the characters
The NES wrestling game based on it was called that, was it not? Now shut the fuck up.
>Kenshin more significant than KinnikuMAN
Hahahaha, you fucking TOOL
How much into the beggining? the first non-serious really good arc is in volume 3, iirc. And in volume 5 there's is a pretty awesome backstory arc for one of the characters.
I like the start, but both comedy and story gets really better with time.
Pleb here, what's the bottom right?
Correction: did you just say Jojo's is more popular than YYH and Kenshin than Kinnikuman? ahahahhahaha
Remove Edge of Immortal, Farmland Saga and Crazy Boat Ride
Keep Why The Fuck Are You Complaining About Rice Did You Not See The Movie Or Read The Book You Uncultured Plebeian Saga
add RuroKen, JJBA and HnK
Stop hyping YYH, it's not that good.
>Edge of the Immortal
Again, you clearly haven't read any of those and are just picking "funny" names of theirs from other retards' opinions. Aside from Berserk's boat, none of those series actually suffered from farming or edginess.
Someone dump Kinnikuman.
>Again, you clearly haven't read any of those
I'm not even who you think I am.
>just picking "funny" names of theirs from other retards' opinions
You're about to burst into tears aren't you?
It's such a big coincidence that all of the "Grand 4" have "god tier art", isn't it? And it's such a big coincidence that all 4 are claiming to be for mature people such as yourself (only Vagabond is, it's actually got plenty of depth and isn't about muh swords and action), isn't it?
The funniest thing is that Vagabond is the most childish series of all these. It's literally the same shit all over:
Musashi loses => Musashi meditates ("I'm strong" "I'm invincible under the sun" "But he's strong too") => Musashi wins "morally" => Musashi wins
That's some incredible shit taste. There's nothing god tier in Jump. Some great ones (Neuro, some parts of Jojo etc).
If it was serialized now, Kenshin would be Bleach (shit) tier, but muh nostalgia goggles.
And Sket Dance was fun.
In the current series, OP is okay with a few great parts, Soma, Gintama and AC too. Beelzebub had good comedy and awful battles. The rest is forgettable (I'm interested in Isobe Isobee Monogatari though).
/a/ don't know any old battle shounen other than Dragonball, JoJo and Hnk.
The funniest thing is that Vagabond is the only one based on real life among all these, and where things like receiving a moderately deep cut into your thigh has some fucking consequences. And while a lot of it is fiction, not all of it is, and the character is developing in a way consistent with what Musashi eventually became IRL.
But hey, I wasn't expecting a retard like you to actually understand the depth I mentioned anyway, which doesn't even have anything to do with realism.
Also, Farmland Saga might be called such for fun, but it's better than BotI and that other manga that will never end because its creator is too busy fapping to 2D idols and will start a new series due to how bored he's become of his series.
>Bakuman in the same tier as Blue Exorcist
Bakuman was pretty neat
Pretty sure you've never read the manga of Rurouni Kenshin, and you're just bashing the anime for having had the audacity to air on american TV and thus be popular. The manga was great, not a 10/10, but a solid 8.
>If it was serialized now, Kenshin would be Bleach (shit) tier, but muh nostalgia goggles.
Bleach is neverending power level battles with bland characters and without any consistency for story or a care for messages, and is kept alive only becauseits hack of a writer pulls shamalamadingdong twists from his ass.
Kenshin is a pretty short story about 2 significant times in the life of its main character, is full of great characters (including one of the best antagonists of all time), and has a completely consistent story and is clear about the messages it wants to give, which are actually about non-sexual mature themes. As a bonus, you learn some Japanese history and culture.
Bleach may have better battles than Kenshin, but that should matter only if you are a stupid 12 years old.
You are trying way too hard to have an air of *taste*, but this is /a/ so that is not surprising.
Rurouken and Slam Dunk are some of the better mangas ever serialized. I am interested to hear why you believe Rurouken is as bad as Bleach.
Shit, I just realized that it wasn't mentioned anywhere in this thread. For shame.
Oh, so you dislike when characters posses supernatural strength and agility and pass it off as "unrealistic and not as deep as fictions where characters don't posses the same powers".
It's called a setting and each executes really well what it aims to.
BotI is a story about revenge and an immortal man. If you didn't expect Manji not to die throughout the manga just by simple sword blows, then what the fuck did you expect when you started reading "Blade.of.the.IMMORTAL"? The contrary? Besides, he's not even close to being the top dog in his own series and it's only him, Shira and the other immortal experiment that wouldn't die by mere sword blows. He also wins his fights by using tricks. As for depth? There's plenty centered around Rin. It may not be as character focused as Vagabond, but it still exists.
Now Vinland Saga is a manga about vikings, which are known from real life history for their supreme strength and stamina. Which is the reason they don't feel the same pain as your average samurai in the Tensho era. Doesn't it have depth? You bet it does and you're a stupid mongoloid if you even need to be explained something like that.
Berserk, on the other side, is a dark-low fantasy story and it does a perfectly fine job at that - depicting a fantasy world with different monsters, superhumans and witches.
>implying Griffith and Guts aren't both really well written
Sengoku is the first word
HnK is fucking trash.
>the entirety of this post, but especially "Now Vinland Saga is a manga about vikings, which are known from real life history for their supreme strength and stamina. Which is the reason they don't feel the same pain as your average samurai in the Tensho era."
Oh my fucking God. Bravo anon, I'm speechless, this must be the best bait of this decade.
Danke, it looks pretty good at first. My catching up will be glorious thanks to you!
>He don't like what I like, he's trying to have an air of taste/is a hipster.
Maybe Bleach tier was too much, okay, sorry.
I've no technical arguments or whatever, I just found it boring, and nothing out of the ordinary. I've never understood why everyone seems to think it's so great.
I've yet to read Slam Dunk (I'm not really into sport manga).
