We all know that TRIGGER likes to kill characters.

So, who will die in KLK and how? What are your predictions?

>>
Likes to kill+ That sounds as shallow and boring as Urobutcher. You shouldn't kill someone just to have a dead character.
>>
>>101330899

Nobody dies. Only one person in the entire series will actually die and it will have happened during and before the first episode; starting with Dr. Matoi and ending with that one kid who Gama crucifies.

Kill La Kill is an ironic title because nobody will die.
>>
>TRIGGER likes to kill characters
This is their first show, though.

Senketsu is the most obvious one.
Maybe Mako.
>>
>>101331039
how come that kid was killed, but Ryuuko who's done worse shit is allowed to do whatever. Everyone's so casual about it despite what she's done
>>
>>101331065
They're essentially the same team who did FLCL, Diebuster, Gurren Lagann, and Panty & Stocking. They have also done Little Witch Academia and Inferno Cop.
>>
>>101331065
Dude a lot of people died in Inferno Cop
>>
>>101331096

That kid was probably a huge faggot who nobody liked anyways and was pissing everyone off all the time.
>>
I get the strange feeling it's gonna be monkey.

That implies the suffering has an end, though.
>>
>>101331119
No one died in FLCL, or Diebuster, or in Panty and Stocking unless you actually want to count the ending.
>>
>>101331210
>No one died in Diebuster
>>
>Nonon is a character who is both characterized enough to make her close to Satsuki but not enough time is spent on her to make her important to the plot besides being a motivatior for Satsuki
>She has no goals or motivations beside be Satsuki's chum

Yeah, it's gonna be Nonon. As a Nononfag, I know for a fact she's going to get killed to fuck with Satsuki. She's the 'girl in the refrigerator', or whatever. Her character raises so many fucking deathflags you wouldn't believe. I'm willing to bet Nui inflicts a mortal wound and she dies infront of Satsuki while crying.

It's a bet I make because I'd be happy to lose it; but I just know it's going to fucking happen.
>>
>>101331039
and are we even 100% sure that that kid was dead?
>>
>>101331039
There will be one death, and it will be Nui's.

Kill la Kill = Kill the Kill(er)
>>
>>101331383

Holy fuck that would be magnificent.
>>
>>101330899
But nobody dies yet.
Except Matoi daddy which wasn't really count because it was a flashback and Ryuuko tell everyone since the first time we saw her. Not a shocking Kamina instakill or anything.
>>
Likelihood of death

1. Satsuki
2. Gamagori
3. Monkey

I don't think it will be anyone else.
>>
>>101331039
But that stupid.
Gama probably just beat him up or whatever. But he is not important at all, plot-wise, anything-wise. He looks like he was beaten up and that's it. You are overthinking this shit.
>>
THE BIGGEST GAINAX ENDING OF THEM ALL
ITS THE BIGGEST TWIST EVER
NO ONE WILL SEE IT COMING
everyone lives
>>
If we're assuming one of Satsuki's allies is going to die, my money's on Iori, or his uncle, or both.

They're established characters that are close enough to her for it to be impactful without actually killing off a character that necessarily does something important.

Besides they both seem to be more or less defenseless. Wouldn't surprise me if Nui kicked in Iori's door and thought he was just adorable.

Nobody died in Inferno Cop
>>
>>101332349
Oh, I didn't even realized I had made a pun, but seriously, "no one dies in Diebuster" is pretty obviously wrong.
>>
>>101331310
And that's going to suck.

A lot. Because Satsuki needs to experience the pain of losing somebody who cared for her. She needs to realize the gravity of her situation, and that the path she walks is laden with bodies.

Nonon is the price of Satsuki achieving her freedom. Hopefully they'll have a touching moment where Nonon smiles and says she was happy to be by Satsuki's side.

Goodbye, Nonon. It was fun.
I don't even want to imagine the state of /a/ if Nui is the one to kill her.
>>
>>101332348
Technically Inferno Cop, Mecha Cop, and Hellfire Boy all died, as well as countless enemies.

They were all back by the final episode, though.

In fact, if you want to talk about constants in Trigger creators' series, then there's the fact that in the final episodes of most of them, someone gets laid.
>>
>>101330899
Gamagoori sacrifice himself for Satsuki/Mako
Sanageyama plays the part of Viral, joins Ryuko and Satsuki against Ragyo
Sanageyama new data guy for the joinup
Nonon secretly works for Ragyo, gonna betray Satsuki

After seeing the new ending I'm pretty sure that Mako will die

Nui is a gloriously hateable villain as she is, so killing her in an excruciating way would be amazing.
>>
>>101331163
How the fuck will Monkey live after graduating?
>>
Trigger never killed a single character that appeared for more than a single episode in any show they have ever done.
>>
>>
>>101332461

She will live on in our hearts, anon

;_;
>>
Killing Mako would have the greatest emotional impact on the crowd, and so would be the best from a pure profit standpoint.

A character as pure and good as Mako is just begging to be killed in a show like this. It would kill Ryuko's motivation.
>>
I dunno, the whole series would loose it's wacky feel if they'd killed a character like Mako or anybody of her family.
I don't need crying people and Ryuuko's lust for revenge is already pretty boring now.
If they kill someone it should be close to Satsuki, becouse that would develop her more.
>>
>>101331310
>I'm willing to bet Nui inflicts a mortal wound and she dies infront of Satsuki while crying

Please no. That would be horrible.
>>
>>101331119
>They're essentially the same team who did FLCL, Diebuster,
No, they aren't. TTGL and P&SwG yeah, but not any of gainax's classic work. most of the trigger staff were either grunt inbetweeners or not even working for gainax during the studio's golden years. Imaishi's only role in FLCL was directing animation in the first manga sequence, which consisted of a whole half a dozen moving parts and then some action lines around the border of the screen while the cels wiggled. Nakashima only ever worked with gainax on TTGL. Neither of them even touched diebuster.
>>
>>101331210
There were two deaths in PSG, First one was Gaterbelt(even if he was revied later) and Panty at the last seconds(still she was to be revived someday...and im still waiting)
>>
>>101336847

I don't think my heart could take it.

Especially if like, Mako and Ryuko were htere, standing off to the edges and giving sympathetic looks as the other Deva's gathered around the two in complete shock.

Shit would be heartwrenching.
