What do you think of Kokoro Connect?
I think it was very average for the most part, but the hospital and kidnapping arcs were quite well done
A solid 6.5/10
It as a cool idea.
It was decent, maybe around 8/10 or something.
Inaba best girl.
I fucking loved it, the character development was excellent and althought it was a drama series, I rarely feel it melodramatic.
Also, best girl win for ONE FUCKING TIME
I think people only hated it because the audio staff bullied this one guy who thought he got a job as a VA for a special character.
Best example of "forced drama" that I've EVER seen, and ever expect to see.
4/10 anime other than that.
best pa works
It was pretty average. The first arc was terrible. It literally just cycled through each character's personal drama, treating it all clinically.
They fucking blew it. There will never be an adaptation of the 4 last novels. I wanted to see Inaba living happy with his husbando but because of those dumb shits and their stupid prank, there will never be a season 2
It was more like they were being spectacularly arrogant despite the show being so mediocre.
>Inaba living happy with his husbando
Reminder that the doujin where Inaba and Taichi switch bodies and she takes her own virginity and cums inside herself is the best KC doujin.
Best girl is very best, but the series took a nosedive into forced drama and boring plot stuff way too fast.
He's probably some kind of MALfag.
I hope someone translates volume 5. I never understand WHY people had translated volumes 1-4 when all that was covered by the anime. I mean, what the fuck.
Season 2 when, there are a lot of novels to cover
Went to shit after first arc
If there was ever a show to use the phrase forced drama for it was this one
Forever cursed by dumb seiyuu bullying scandal.
Drama kinda forced so not all that great, though some of the situations can be quite humorous.
When every problem are solved by their "power of love and friendship", you can't expect anything worse than that.
Best girl won which evens out the bad writing.
Fuck off retard
Best girl lost.
I hate when that shit happens, a show airs and then people start translating the manga/LN from the fucking beginning
Stop being a fit-in fag.
I don't know, I mean all that Heartseed bullshit was the excuse for the author to literally force dramas out of nowhere with that character. Like, instead of creating a plot that would create drama, the author uses Heartseed to produce one.
Buuuut when the characters are whining about their problems, at least sometimes other characters tell them that their problems are shit, so that makes it less melodramatic.
he's right though
Since you're retarded think of it like this
8/10 = 4/5
Do you see how retarded you look now?
Are you serious? She was a fucking bitch and it is stated very clearly. It's like, his existence in the novels and anime is to give the plot twist "the happy girl was a bitch in the end". She was like a trick by the author to make believe she will win at the end.
She was a terrible person for no reason, just stupid.
people actually liked bipolar/identity crisis-chan?
Yeah, I mean, I guess it's okay when the anime differs a lot from the source material, but in this case, it follows it exactly. Now that those staff fuckers ruined any opportunity of a second season, all we can do it's wait for that volume 5 translation.
relevant to my immediately interests, as this is one of 4-5 series i'm currently enjoying
i like it, i'd give it a 7/10, perhaps 8/10 for the characterizations and intelligent handling of the body-swapping scenario. also like heartseed's seemingly ambivalent attitude towards the group's needs and wants, even though it seems (as of ep. 7) that he's ultimately a benevolent being looking to invoke self-actualization through forced psychological "warfare"
inaba and iori both tickle my fancy
Inaban best girl.
Here is a good spoiler for you: best girl wins. I mean, in these type of anime, normally there isn't a couple conclussion or the shittiest girl wins, but here it gives a nice plot twist to that.
what drama isn't forced? drama requires problematic situations, which by their very presence will always be vulnerable to criticisms of "forcing" insofar as they spawn about at the whim of the writer
now, if you mean "dramatic elements that are unlikely either by way of their rarity or in the manner with which they're handled," that's one thing. a thing that'd more suitably be described as "bad drama," given "forced" poorly (and incorrectly) accounts the phenomenon
Shitty melodrama, at least best girl won.
Absolutely awful. Shitty melodrama with shitty characters and a shitty plot. I wouldn't wish it upon my worst enemy.
>for no reason
some would say you weren't paying attention. but I know the reality: you simply dismissed that which didn't gel with the anime you *wanted* to watch
seems about right for 4ch/a/n
Well, like that guy said, Heartseed is like a plot device to create drama out of nowhere. Those problematic situations you talk about aren't naturally happening, but they are just forced by that character.
...but I do thing it isn't forced. I don't know why, but I didn't feel it like that.
Best girl won
...but best girl won. It felt like it would end with a shitty ending like Oreimo. I mean, I was 100% sure Inaban will have a scene having his love dreams crushed and crying, but holy shit, it was a nice surprise that she won at the end
That is up with in the top three biggest piece of shit WEGs I've ever seen
needed more deadman
This shit was so forced it made me hurt.
It looks a lot like a KyoAni show. The girls look a lot like keions
Horiguchi did the designs
I would pay someone to translate volume 5 to learn more about Inaba as a girlfriend. I mean, she was so fucking horny... will the novels cover her first time?
horny as fuck
Absolutely erection inducing
Dropped it after the body swapping stopped.
A masterpiece, as expected of KyoAni.
Should have just stuck with the body swapping. I got to the last episode but never finished it.
It's like watching Eastenders but with Japanese kids.
For the last time, Kokoro Connect is not "forced drama". Forced drama is when you have some random ass shit happen to the characters THAT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE MAIN PLOT OR PREMISE.
Yes, Heartseed is arbitrarily messing around with the characters, but that is what the whole show is about starting with the first episode.
Similarly it's not forced drama when somebody dies in LoGH, because there is a big war going on and big wars get people killed.
Forced drama is when you have a show about a baseball team trying to go to Koshien and out of nowhere a bus runs over the catcher's imouto or something in episode 4.
