An western fujoshi becomes an exchange student at a Japanese high school in order to find material for her shitty yaoi manga and somehow ends up getting engaged to the shut-in otaku son of the family she's staying with. Hijinks (with racial undertones) ensue as she tries to ship him with other boys and he just wants to be left alone with his 2D waifu. She starts off as a disgusting, mouth breathing landwhale but a steady traditional Japanese diet makes her lose all the weigh and the otaku is able to communicate with others more effectively as the western fujoshi forces him out of his comfort zone.

>The story is set in a fictional world where mystical creatures/sub-humans exists along with sorcery.
>MC is a middle aged human scholar who has been elected by the high council of mixed races to be their ambassador to the other races which include elves, dwarfs, orcs, ect. He wasn't chosen because of his ability to mediate between people or because he had the presence which prevented anyone from acting out in front of him; he more or less chosen because of his attitude of "I really don't care, but I'll see what I can do about it" and how he gets the job done.
>His primary job is to observe the races from a distance while maintaining his presence at the scene, if necessary he'll use his invisibility magic he mastered to get away from the scene or just to hide out when it gets dangerous. After observing the scene he is to report back to the high council where they make decisions on how to handle the situation
>Over the course of the story we see arguments break out between the races and war almost breaking out, tension between conflicting countries and within the high council itself, and people breaking down from harassment for being the minority in a town
>At the end of each episode we get an internal monologue from MC which describes how he sees each situation and point out the main points of both opposing sides while maintaining a neutral standoff
>Ending is set at least 30 years into the future with MC as an old man. He's seen the world around him develop and grow, but the only thing that hasn't changed is the people that inhabit it. The people continue to fight, argue, and debate over every small issue, but overall it's clearly visible that both sides will always hate each other simply because they are different than them. This world has always been on the brink of war, it's just missing the spark to set off the explosions. MC dies happily not having to deal with that future.

That would actually be a pretty good theme for something. Would like to see things get deep on societal and social levels like this.

>sub-text

It doesn't have to be actually racist, there's just allegorical racism. Like a fantasy world where elves are discriminated against harshly. That's a racist sub-text.

>One day he was shot dead by some other dealers
>He is reincarnated as a young man in some rural area in feudal Japan.

A cramped and degenerating society living within the bounds of a great wall. People are warned never to leave, and everyone fears what lays beyond. Every day, the populace is paralyzed by fear, and most people are terrified of even discussing what may be outside. The protagonist, growing increasingly furious with the oppressive atmosphere, finally slips outside. The landscape is littered with nothing but mirrors.

>to their notorious WWII campaign
It would have gone fine if FDR didn't make it where Japan couldn't buy any more US oil even though he knew it was going to lead to a war because their empire depended on it. It still would have gone fine if the US just felt that fighting the war wasn't worth it like the Japanese had intended with all their quick conquests all in the pacific and to continue selling oil to them. I mean, ~80 of Japanese soldiers would end up dying of hunger and sickness. They knew they couldn't afford a long-term war, but they had little options on their plate.

It isn't. Their is only one surviving video of the nanking massacre anyhow and it's highly likely that those claims were exaggerated by political forces in China to garner nationalism. The same thing sort of happened in Korea and in Taiwan you see a lot of people who like Japan for what they did during their colonization period. (see the word 哈日族)

>The firebombing of Tokyo, codenamed Operation Meetinghouse, on March 9–10 killed an estimated 100,000 people and destroyed 16 square miles of the city and 267,000 buildings in a single night.
>The United States strategic bombing of Japan took place between 1942 and 1945. In the last seven months of the campaign, a change to firebombing resulted in great destruction of 67 Japanese cities, as many as 500,000 Japanese deaths and some 5 million more made homeless

>The incidence of rape increased after the closure of the brothels, possibly eight-fold; Dower states that "According to one calculation the number of rapes and assaults on Japanese women amounted to around 40 daily while the R.A.A was in operation, and then rose to an average of 330 a day after it was terminated in early 1946."
>330 a day

>Close to midnight on April 4, an estimated 50 GIs arriving in 3 trucks assaulted the Nakamura Hospital in Omori district. Attacking at the blow of a whistle, over the period of one hour they raped more than 40 patients and an estimated 37 female staff. One of the raped women had a two-day old baby that was killed by being thrown on the floor, and also some male patients who tried to protect the women were killed.
>On April 11, between 30 and 60 US soldiers cut phone lines to a housing block in Nagoya city, and simultaneously raped "many girls and women between the ages of 10 and 55 years."

Probably. I can't name any off the top of my head though.

Mind you most stories with a utopia generally tend to be one of those utopias that is run by an autocrat with an iron fist and all dissenters 'disappear' and everything is fine so long as you don't begin to question.
>>
>>101312325
That's more of a dystopia painted white, though.
>>
>>101312218
I never said other countries didn't commit atrocities as well (the USSR was at least as bad as Japan) but Japan was definitely one of the worst.

It had a few, but large conquering armies are always unruly. I think the claim that they were somehow more vile in their conquests than for instance the Europeans in theirs is silly and if those illiterate people without anything to record any information of any kind could have done so, then I'm sure you'd have quite a larger stack of things to say about the already huge stack of things western colonization had on its indigenous populations.
>>
>>101312354
No the point was racist subtext. So there's a utopia where they are all aware at how their life style is maintained, but they don't care because they believe the enslaved outsiders are lesser beings and such treatment is justified.

It's a utopia twisted by bone-deep racism.

Anyways since you're under the impression that how they acted is what caused the war, I'd like you to read this. It's really a shame in my opinion that Americans don't know this. A misunderstanding of history is only asking for future problems.

Remembered something to parallel your earlier statements.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Western_imperialism_in_Asia#U.S._Imperialism_in_Asia
>U.S. attacks into the countryside often included scorched earth campaigns where entire villages were burned and destroyed, tortured, and concentrated into camps known as "protected zones." Most of these civilian casualties resulted from disease and famine. Reports of the execution of U.S. soldiers taken prisoner by the Filipinos led to disproportionate reprisals by American forces. Many U.S. officers and soldiers called the war a "nigger killing business." [5]

>In 1914, Dean C. Worcester, U.S. Secretary of the Interior for the Philippines (1901–1913) described "the regime of civilisation and improvement which started with American occupation and resulted in developing naked savages into cultivated and educated men."

Sickening...
>>
Even though Yuiji and Yuuka are identical twins, Yuuka is optimistic and cheerful while her brother appears cold and detached. In the summer before their middle school year, while visiting family in the rural countryside, Yuuka confesses her love to her brother, and much to her surprise, he accepts her feelings. The two spend the summer together, being able to deepen their relationship away from the prying eyes of their friends and family. Things seem to be going great until summer vacation is over and Yuuka and Yuiji return home to Tokyo. They realize the consequences of falling in love with each other-with Yuuka unable to tell her friends about her love for her brother as they excitedly talk about their summer romances. Yuuka becomes increasingly more stressed and anxious after learning about how popular her brother is and obsessively binds him to her with a "bonding" ritual. She forces him to wear her dirty underwear to school and makes him eat her nail clippings, blood, hair, and cum in a attempt to become closer to him. Their neighbor Izumi finds out about their relationship and blackmails Yuuka into having sex with him and his friends, only furthering her stress and anxiety about keeping her relationship with her brother a secret. Izumi thinks their relationship is disgusting and bullies Yuiji without Yuiji realizing he knows.

(cont.)
Yuiji, hoping to appease his sister, does what he's told until she comes up with a drastic plan that he can't back out of. Yuuka tells him that they have to commit suicide together since they are unable to be with eachother due to society and their family. Yuiji relucantly agrees but at the last second he tries to convince Yuuka to not go on with the plan. She has an emotional breakdown that forces him to give in. Their double suicide goes awry with Yuiji surviving. The story then follows Yuiji's transition into adulthood as he tries to move on after his sister's (and lover's) death. He meets a girl (Natsumi) whose in love with her older brother (whose getting married) and the two form a strange relationship as they are able to talk about their feelings honestly. With several half-assed sucicide attempts and flashbacks to before Yuuka confessed, Yuiji starts to wonder if things would have been better if he had not accepted her feelings. At the end of the story, he realizes that the first suicide attempt was a failure because Yuuka purposefully gave him nonlethal pills. He stops Natsumi from confessing to her older brother as he knows that it would only lead to heartbreak. The ending scene is Yuiji and Natsumi burying objects that symbolize their forbidden love toward their sibling. Because the only thing that kept their friendship together was their love for their sibling, the two part ways.
