ITT: The greatest moments or scenes in their respective series.
I loved this scene.
Oops, wrong image.
That scene in Madoka episode 10.
My name Is Yuri...
I was an astronaut...
I just wanted to come home...
As someone who didn't particularly liked F/Z, that scene was "meh".
I still re-watch that last bit from time to time, and still tear up a bit on occasions.
I beg to differ, OP. That's not the scene of the revelation.
Such a satisfying punch.
That scene and the entire series after that were satisfying as all hell.
Angry Santa Treatment has become part of my vocabulary.
isn't there a chart with all these on it?
You're gonna carry that weight
I think Tomoko may my waifu. Im new to anime, so maybe i shouldnt be so serious just yet. Girlfweindo?
Tried to find this scene coupled with the "laughingwhores.jpg" but it's buried deep.
>mfw that cock sucking faggot priest and his vampire goth loli get off scot-fucking-free when they're the ones who directly contributed the most to the village's destruction
This scene, hands down. Best team shot of the year.
Saki in Yoga pants, or loli Saki going to blow that guy were better moments
It is what it is I guess... I actually wanted the Pink haired girl to live. Best girl.
>Pic related. Scene gave me goose bumps
Actually post best part now.
I thought this scene was better.
Bridge scene was better. More emotional.
I don't know how anyone can not see this as anything other than the best episode of Cowboy Bebop.
>Angry Santa Treatment
Was this railgun or index? I fucking tried getting into Index and I just could not. does it get batter after 8 episodes?
I'd say barely better than the kiss
Holy shit, I feel stupid for not thinking of that.
Same thing happens in Index and Railgun 2.
Railgun 2 is vastly superior, you can actually feel all the emotional distress that Biribiri is suffering and that particular scene is so powerful.
First time I've cried with anime in like 1 year.
I prefer this
gundam 00 second season, the moment one of those sun powered towers starts to break and everybody stops the conflict to destroy the debris before ruining the place, never been so hype for full 10 minutes
too much of a shit eating grin
>hammering the fuck out of your son without a second thought because you're so disappointed in him
How can one man be so based?
that one when stocking is dead
His name is Garbeard you faggot.
If this doesnt make you laugh, there's something wrong with you
I think you mean Rider's last charge.
I've re-watched this episode multiple times.
That BGM track that plays. Fucking great.
This scene was gut-wrenching but it was also executed so perfectly.
What an amazing fight, I'm so glad they showed that instead of the sister crushing everyone
KIZU FUCKING WHEN SHAFT???? HACHIKUJI IS DEAD AND THERE'S STILL NO KIZU FUCK SHIT BITCH CUNT
This was more then the best scene in the entire anime, but this episode was the best episode in all of anime.
The whole final battle of Mazinkaiser
>That way it syncs up perfectly to Final Brave
Read the LN.
Damn, I used to love that comic series. Too bad the artist started pandering to her retarded vocal fans.
Care to elaborate on that?
I stopped reading it a while ago.
That shit was beautiful.
Not even close.
This just made me want to scream "AAWWWW SHIT NIGGAAAAAAAAAAAAA"
This scene solidified my belief that while crab might not be the best girl, she's the best girl for Araragi
I don't have a screencap, but when Tomato-Jesus negotiates with Lucifer for the soul of humanity.
It's funny, because in the novels neither wins and it's a bro end.
Not even close.
There are very few moments where I took sadistic glee at watching a villain get wrecked.
For the seriously boring first half, the second part was almost at Nanoha A's level... if it weren't for 90% of the unrelated subplots that had nothing to do with Nanoha, Fate, Vivio, Teana and Subaru.
How's the progress on the translation?
>Actively goes around killing people
>Justifies murdering people simply because they aren't "with it"
>Wants to go to the big city and be the star she knows she'll be
>Beyond shallow and vapid
Megumi was shit and got what she deserved. Tractor scene was best scene, but executed poorly in the anime.
>Roll over her arms and then her skull
>Sit on it for a few seconds
>Pull out stakes and hammers.
"Let's kill her so she doesn't need to suffer."
Shiki got pretty shitty & Stupid
The worst part of Megumi is that no porn
Every scene near the end of zeta gundam was satisfying.
This whole scene was great in the sense that it showed Kiritsugu's true character.
It satisfied the fuck out of me when this annoying cunt got told
The push-back of Axis was fucking great, too.
>No Patlabor 2
I can't find a picture but it's that scene when Geist is leading his robot army across the desert.
Every finale of gundam is amazing. Unicorn's looks to be this way too.
Not that guy but I was just telling a friend to watch Unicorn. When's the last ep coming out again?
And then shit happen
When are those fucking BDs going to be ready, Live-evil?
Despite how much I like Asuka I had a huge grin on my face during this scene
I AM NOT THE GRIM REAPER
after he finally got the woman's real name
Death note gets shit on a lot, but that was a fucking great scene.
Really emphasizes how evil light has become.
>Just walks into the middle of a knife-fight
Alright. Go home everyone. Shows over. Nothing to see here. What, are you all stupid? You deaf or something? Sod off or I'll glass you all in the jaw
WHAT DID I JUST SAY! Time to knock a nigga out!
Peace bitches. I'm taking this girl with me.
Fuck. Goddamit. Goddamn shit. Fucking bullets. Fucking guns. Fucking hate. FUCKING DOOR GET THE FUCK OUT OF MY WAY!
You dog, I gotcher girl.
Not even fucking close to the best scene.
Either this or Bear having to take out his friend in the syndicate for this son's actions.
This is actually one of my favorite films ever. And that's definitely one of the best scenes. But for the life of me I just can't say it's the best in the movie. I don't know.
the ending choked me up
The entire monologue was fucking chill inducing.
>Implying it wasn't the villagers burning down the fucking village that contributed the most to the village's destruction
I hope they went and turned a fucking city
It was predictable as fuck, but fuck yeah.
I was so fucking hyped when he appeared in that golden fucking armor.
It was fucking great.
Best fight in the entire show.
In fact, this tops any DBZ fight
Best catharsis scene coming through.
>Not OD transforming or fucking any time that Unbeatable Network played.
Also the whole scene that happened after Rui got his note back was nice.
Season 2 when.
Gonna spoiler this. Can't decide which was better. It's from Ef - Tale of Memories.
Fuck I need to rewatch The Tatami Galaxy, I loved the shit out of that anime.
Okay, I'm officially a fucking retard. Whatever.
>tfw I watched them all
The scene I remember the most from this series.
I knew it was gg no re from then on. Shit was about to get real, and it did.
I tear up every time I hear this
best of Railgun season 2 maybe but Misaka-san's "full power' railgun attack at the end of season 1 was better
not even close, although this part was funny
>Railgun 2 is vastly superior, you can actually feel all the emotional distress that Biribiri is suffering and that particular scene is so powerful.
I'm watching through Index again with friends right now and I'm gonna try my hardest to get them to watch Railgun afterward so they can see the sisters arc the way it was meant to be
if you actually think this was the best part of Shippuuden, fuck you.
>chii-oba or whatever reviving Gaara
>Season 8, Pain fight
>Itachi's final speech to Sasuke when he's fading away after undoing edo tensei
>Obito seeing Rin die and flipping his shit in the flashbacks
>Naruto when he goes into Nine Tails Chakra mode and Kakashi says "S-sensei?!" due to resemblance with Minato
seriously what are you even thinking
Okay this is a long shot. There was this anime about a female vampire that shot blood out of her fangs when she got flustered. And her buddy was like some blond cool guy vampire slayer that fainted at the sight of blood.
And they're at some water park when she starts spraying blood every where. The dude freaks out and starts to faint like normal, but he recovers and catches her like a total badass despite nearly losing consciousness himself.
I dont remember anything from the series other than that one moment, but fuck was it cool.
I can agree with this
how does the story of Hellsing Ultimate compare to the original Hellsing? Just got done re-watching Hellsing with friends and it was clearly dated as fuck. We also watched it dubbed because one of us is stubborn when it comes to subs. Couldn't have been much worse.
great part, although nothing beats the chills I got when Al sacrificed his body to get Ed his arm back in time to free himself
This was the moment when my download of Shiki went straight to the Recycle Bin.
It's a miracle I didn't end up getting cut to pieces due to all that edge.
I stopped watching after that episode.
I mean, I stopped watching anime after that episode. I knew it was only downhill from there.
You've already decided, haven't you?
Holy shit you're some kind of faggot.
Show was meh, this scene was pure concentrated hype.
>great part, although nothing beats the chills I got when Al sacrificed his body to get Ed his arm back in time to free himself
Fuck yes, I always rewatch that scene. Everything about it, the voice acting, the music, the animation. Say what you want about Brotherhood but nothing in the 2003 anime comes close to that scene
No, you are. I know what happens in the rest of the show and I know for a fact that only people made of edge could have enjoyed it.
Definitely the phone booth. Shit gives me chills and one of the few scenes I've bothered to rewatch.
gets me every time
Fuck. This one gets me too, more so than any other in that series.
Yeah but this one is epic too
hands down, best scene in the series
GOD FUCKING DAMMIT I HATE THAT SCENE AND THIS GUY SO FUCKING MUCH
Have some nostalgia.
I really liked that one since it showed that all he wanted was a family.
yes you are a faggot. A simple bloody violent monster hunt stop you from seeing the show to the end prove that you are a faggot. You are such a faggot you dont even want to see something remotely edgy by /a/'s definition.
What do you expect was gonna happen fag ? That people suddenly shun you because you watch 20 minutes of animated people getting killed ?
Since when is bloody gorefest a bad thing ?
Objectively best scene.
>Let's become monsters together
In S2 everything about Mikugear was pure hype.
idk man, the movie wasn't all that great, it was like a normal episode only longer
>death of Wolfwood
This one from Kaiba.
I was between this and Vanilla. But that was the one scene that got me completely hooked
greatest episode 1 in the history of mankind
not a fan but this scene is just...wow
Fuck you Suzuka
>kills best girls so hard it ruins another character
>thus becomes best girl
Bad money management aside, this is actually a pretty powerful scene after you realize for that entire minute Shinji is essentially mulling over the single hardest decision of his life. Does he kill Kaworu and doom the world but keep the only person left that unconditionally loved him or save a world that's already gone to shit for the hopes that what he's doing will make it a tiny bit better.
best yu gi oh villain.
That entire episode was bonkers, for what reason did they even put it in?
I would say this scene or when they escape with the rocket.
Char, you glorious bastard.
One of the best heroic sacrifice scenes I've seen.
I miss [C], with all of it's silliness and faults.
>goosebumps even for 100000th time
can never be s2 ;_;
To be honest, Kittan's death annoyed me more than anything.
Yoko really should have been the one to do it. Female GAR and could have kept the technique Kamina pioneered inside the original trio. Plus, Kittan had a family, man. Yoko is just a lonely teacher on an island.
I don't think I'll ever get the A-A-A-A-A-ANGEL part plus the best track from the OST playing as well, Dayum.
There is things that only mans can do.
this scene was masterfully done
>you will never serve the man who just killed you a bowl of tea from your own blood
MFW just noticed spike taped the wind star to the bow.
I never knew he cared
Wait, is railgun better than index?
I thought it was the other way around...
A lot of /m/ in this thread.
This is one of my favourite threads though.[/spoiler}
Fucking christ, that whole anime man.
L's death was what impacted me the most.
That moment where you now have no idea where the story is going.
Consequently the last good part of the show before lights death.
I can't remember the name of that anime and google keeps giving me
>Kaiki is the best girl
As the result of an image search, whats the first word?
Katanagatari or Hataraku Maou-sama.
Depends on if you're talking about the girl or the fight on the TV.
So much this.
His last speech was fucking pathetic.
His motivation made no sense, like fuck. Props for the sacrifice but at least make something out of it. final fight scene in second movie is objectively best.
As for the show, Simon climbing suzaku and his speech afterwards.
>no lelouch dying for our sins yet
Or Rider's butchering of Assasin. Basically the whole episode 11, both the discussion where Seibah is getting told and Aionian Hetairoi for the first time is awesome
The fight TV
I know the girl is from Katanagatari
My favorite part was just when Lord Genome stepped outside of his gunmen and punched Simon, as well as tear apart a gunmen with his own hands.
I liked when he sacrificed himself because he just suddenly starts walking in the middle of fucking space towards the Anti-Spiral with that huge shit-eating grin, cocky as a motherfucker.
The girl is from Hataraku, the fight is from Katanagatari. Get your shit together /v/.
>implying best moment
Highlight of first season.
followed by kamina's sword + arrow scene from viral's first appearance and the first gatai
I don't follow anime seasonally I marathon my shit please forgive me senpai
>Implying I am from /v/
>Implying I don't crossboard
I remember seeing all those gifs, euphienator jokes and party hards without understanding much, just thought they were funny but when I finally decided to watch Code Geass and she appeared I couldn't believe she would be able to do something like that.
Then IT happened and I couldn't stop the tears.
>Alternate space trap
>Revealed Yoko still longs for a dead man's D
And then she went on to become a man. Death would have been a much better alternative.
Either the moment Fee had lost it or when Ai had to decide if she truly believes in what she preaches.
>Not the scene where Lancer kills himself and then his master begging him to kill him
fucking loved this scene, it showed how fucking human he could be.
What a shitty drawing, he has absolutely no grip on that sword, it would drop right out of his hand.
there are dozens of memorable scenes in S;G, but this is probably the most satisfying punch in the face ever. Simon punching Rossiu doesn't have shit on this.
yfw his arm and sword are one in the same "his body is made of swords"
i had to pause the episode, rewind, and watch this entire scene 4 more times to make sure it actually happen
It's hard to explain. There's an arc that's redone in Index season 2 that's way better, but I prefer Touma (in Index) as a main character to Misaka Mikoto (aka Railgun)
best mecha scene ever
Dammit, I'm crying again.
You have intrigued me into watching kind sir. thanks.
I thought it was SoL shit when I first heard about it.
it's SoL shit half the time. the other half it's about retarded action plots like index. so if you like index railgun is ok too.
What is this moe shit
It doesn't matter if Lelouch died or if he has the CODE GEASS etc. the entire sequence is still the best moment.
I don't know. My personal favourite moments in Code Geass are the just as planned battle moments.
Like the mudslide of the exploding methane deposits.
i swear to god i will only ask this just this time for my entire life
Bocu no pico
have you ever played bowling before?
I'd help you out anon but I also forget the name.
It starts with a "C"
It'll come to me...
It was even answered in this thread already, how fucking retarded can you get? I swear this shithole gets worse with every following day.
in your mom ass
Get the fuck out.
>I don't know. My personal favourite moments in Code Geass are the just as planned battle moments.
>Like the mudslide of the exploding methane deposits.
They're still okay. I just don't think they compare at all, but your mileage may be different.
How dare you ruin our super secret special club with your casual ignorance?
monk pls go
It's a serious matter, fool.
Fucking this. That music, that fist clench at the sky. THAT FUCKING MUSIC. I was saying 'Fuck yeah" quite awhile after that eps aired.
EAT SHIT YOU FUCKING FAGGOT.
One of the best anime I've seen recently.
>no Candy Vegetto
That shit was the best.
that's not unit 01 going full berserk
I don't think that scene should count, since it's from EoE
>Implying it wasn't that entire beat down Nagasumi gave
And what comes afterwards.
I am disappointed this isn't here already
Advancing Giants is shit and you should feel bad for likiing it.
I'm going to watch this for the first time, should I watch the dub or the official subs?
Can't we all agree taht best Hyouka scene is when Chitanda turns around in the last episode and says; "I wanted to show you this." Goosebumps just by thinking of it.
You are both wrong
this and Hachikuji "dying"
You know what? Every scene is the best scene.
"I've never betrayed anyone in my life" ~ Char Aznable
gave me goosebumps
I replayed the ending to ep.9 so many times. I had honestly never heard the ED before because there was no point.
I know the Vanguard match in Achiga is incredible but the original is still the best.
Same here. With the credits overlapping and the music increasing in volume just as Okabe starts to panic, it was just mesmerizing.
This entire fucking episode man.
God, I was hooked on *monogtari since this scene and I've been waiting for Kizu for years now. It will be fantastic.
I don't care if its still airing, it won't top this
Good taste, that scene is one of my favorites in all of anime and Disappearance is a masterpiece.
This entire scene was hype as fuck.
> Not Unit 02 going HAM in EoE
Oh just get the fuck out.
Samurai Champloo is full of great scenes
>hating on Moeka that much
I have yet to watch that Idolmaster episode, but Aoi Tori is my favorite song and I cried everytime Chihaya sang it in the anime
Fuck yeah! I just watched this episode. Shit was hype as fuck man.
stay butthurt about your favourite shows selling like shit
Look inside yourself. You KNOW it to be true.
Such a good show
idk man, this was pretty epic
Ufotable better not fuck this up.
Easily my most favorite seen in media as a whole.
I fucking hated this scene.
It's such an intimate yet not romantic scene.
I am watching it with dub.
Both are top-knotch, anon.
Yeah man that one is way up there for me, I pulled for them so hard.
Not the best.
Insert song ruined it. Even if it's good, Kamina's Giga Drill Breaker was better because the OST was superior.
Best scene from best show
Might as well stream it
>Not liking Happily Ever After
Please leave and never come back.
Yang dying in LOGH.
The ED is great, and it's nice fanservice for SciADV fans since it's a Phantasm song.
This entire fucking episode
Dem feels and all
>Anon in charge of reading comprehension.
I thought I clearly stated the insert song was good but not better than Ten wo Tsuke. Also you had both Kamina and Simon VA giving the Moeru speech, which made it 10x better.
Best scene was the last scene when takuto go in space
Right in the feels.
We understood each other.. right?
The Black Swordsman walks on...
Episode 9 of NouKome
Don't know about the anime, but that scene in the manga was pretty boring.
Such a good scene.
In the first season, anyway.
Fuck it, fuck my backlog, I'm rewatching Kaiji.
That's what finally broke me down.
End of Fuko's arc.
I found this a lot more emotional than any other part of the series but the OVA was close.
That was great, but this is my favorite.
True love will always prevail.
I had someone I loved.
Warm and kind…
I wanted her to be happier tan anyone else.
For you, I would throw away my life.
That’s why I’ve endured this pain until now.
Endured, endured, endured, endured, endured, endured, endured… Endured it all!
You can’t deny all that. If you do, I’ll never forgive you!
A lie, a lie, a lie!
I do have someone… There is someone I love!
Who did I this for?! Whose fault is it?!
If I’m going to die, I may as well…
>I pulled for them so hard
l-lewd! Baka hentai!
Sorry mate, but fuko was an annoying cunt.
>not posting the .gif
This. Fucking this.
Please return to reddit
That was definitely the best scene in Disappearance- the end of Melancholy is runner up, but this takes the cake.
You can't regret that shit. Ever.
The whole dream sequence was great- Simon's and Viral's were the best scenes in the series
Is that from Kara no Kyoukai? That puppet fight was complete bullshit.
I wouldn't know.
Rewatched it the other day.
Man, Nise might be primarily fanservice, but it's the best fanservice in town hands down.
That was great, but Rikyuu going on a rampage before his suicide was the best.
This anime was shit.
>I couldn't stop the tears
From laughing, right?
That was such a goddamn asspull. Overshadows most of the absolute nonsense Sunrise has done throughout the years.
Although I have to say, VVV S2 is worse than pretty much anything. Even Destiny.
Mawaru penguindrum transformaiotn scene.
>tfw you see it for the 1st time.
Epic is an overused word, but it fits that scene.
The scene where that guy opened the door and gets pyroblasted is better.
It sure is hot in india.jpeg
I'd prefer the scene in the library leading up to the door with shifting slides where it is more or less retold how Himari dies.
Eh, Nise had nice themes and character interaction.
The first Hellsing anime is dogshit. Ultimate follows the manga pretty much to the letter, and while it's still far from a masterpiece of storytelling it's leagues better than the first anime ever was in every single way.
in wanko's route alone; this part
it hit me pretty hard. she comes out of nowhere, with a very cold and stern face.
Greatest moment in Infinite Stratos.
>"Clench your teeth."
My hypeboner went to plaid.
Did that motherfucker just deflect a knife with his bare hands?
I think you mean Kiritsugu vs Kirei
Just saw Shiki a few days ago..
I still don't understand by the doctor and the priest didn't just kill all the vampires the moment they realized they existed...
They just gave up and waited to people to die..
wat da fak
He's *that* boss.
How about greatest moment in any anime ever?
i fucking cried like a bitch
That scene rocked.
You're just mad that I'm right
Nigga why are you doing this to me ;_;
fucking tumblr gifs
When they wake up in Laputa
Next time, try SauceNAO.
wtf even is this
Looks like some hipster shit
this scene where Balot just guns down those freaks was the best shit ever
didn't mean to quote
Ok. I watched the whole anime and I didn't see this shit anywhere. What episode is this scene in?
It's a preview.
The first time we came to see Akki... damn
That makes sense. I never watched the previews at the end, for some reason.
That music, those feels.
Oshino's eyes damn fucking hypes me up
I really need to watch this movie.
Ever since his introduction his character arc was about him being an inferior version of Kamina and trying to overcome that. Even though he had the same basic mindset as Kamina he couldn't put it into fancy words that motivated others. That's why he just kinda accepted Simon leading after a while and acted as the head regular guy.
His death scene is when he finally manages to reach Kamina's level, what he's been striving for since the beginning. Him accepting his death for the sake of others and achieving the Giga Drill Breaker right in that moment mirrors Kamina's death scene, right down to the calm acceptance at the end, serves to further emphasize this.
What's that show called?
wait when was this
I cant recall
Don't think i've managed to watch this episode without crying.
I can't believe someone took the time to do this.
I consider these to be some of the greatest scenes in all of anime.
This fucking episode.
I really don't know what's this, reminds me of chonchu
