So who else is watching this and wants to discuss?
I dropped after ep1 thinking it was boring, but recently watched 2-4. I am surprised; this show is actually pretty decent. Cliche, but decent.
It's shit, there's just a minor lull in the shit that's making you mistake this series for being any good.
The 'romantic' pair this series is based around don't even kiss in the LN. And the series ends with claire getting kidnapped and raped by pirates while the MC fumbles with his dick to try and go to rescue her. That is seriously the ending of the LNs, it has no conclusion.
There's a reason the LN series got such shit ratings.
the only reason i haven't just deleted it off my HDD is because best girl alone is carrying it for me. i get the impression she dies though, so i'm still writing this show off as shit.
>There's a reason the LN series got such shit ratings.
The author is a master of shit endings. Half, if not all of his pilot novels are like this.
I'm watching it. Personally I think it's pretty bad - like 3/10 or so. Only thing that keeps me going is the hope that the characters suffer some more.
Dies or is paired off with L-Elf. Either are pretty terrible.
I want the main girl to die for what she did to the kid's parents
Haven't read the novels, but >implying she wasn't just being used by the rebellion as a convenient figurehead
Setting is interesting and has potential. Art (from technology standpoint) is good. Character designs are okay, characters themselves vary from interesting to "oh-its-this-archetype-again". I've got a massive hardon for the entire ED theme/sequence. single release when?
It seems like there's potential for massive amounts of suffering, which has me interested. It kind of feels like a watered-down Last Exile at the moment, but we'll see where it ends up.
Does that mean we're hoping for an anime-original ending?
I really hope so if what the anon above says is true. I like netorare just as much as the next man (and rape), but only in my hentai.
>I am surprised; this show is actually pretty decent
Nina Vientoed is going to become a phrase for when an anime does something so stupid it gets dropped so hard the budget gets cut.
It's probably my favorite this show this season.
Yeah the plot is simple, but it's pulled off intelligently, and characters are acting oddly like human beings, not like LOLLOL ANIMES.
I actually like the story premise, but if it goes the direction first post says it does then it'll blow. Nina Viento a shit.
I honestly am enjoying it, but apparently everyone's hating on the LN's ending. I want to have high hopes for this though.
It had minor potential, but was kinda interesting... after 4 I must say Im ready to drop it
i fucking hate this anime series after i heard people talking about the LNs but I have to commend the author for not having a bullshit "happily ever after" ending.
There's no ending. It's as if the author simply decided to "drop" the series.
>kidnapped and loved tenderly by pirates...
idk its basically the same thing in a way
>But apparently everyon's hating on the LN's ending
That's nonsensical, since as fas as we know, the anime could run an original ending
I'm hoping for it!
Plus, there's something like, what, five LNs in this storyline? Even at maximum compression, there's no way to blow through that much content in a single season. We're more likely to end up with an anime-original or open ending anyway given that they aren't going to get anywhere near the "end" of the LN storyline.
The rape part just trolling, but other than this,he's 100% correct
