How is it the people on the side of the Imperials think they are good people. They kill, burn, torture and now rape civilians for little to no cause. They wipe out entire villages on a whim just because yet they see themselves are righteous and just.
They were criminals spreading anti-government propaganda during war. Sure, the punishment was harsh, but that doesn't make the executioner a bad guy. It was JUSTICE.
Did you even take a look at the type of world this story is set in?
They are "good" because they work to destroy the Empires opposition.
It's all relative.
They have killed kids and more just for being there
They were a member of a criminal organization. Justice knows no age.
Yeah, I like the manga as a whole, but it kind of doesn't work how they make 99% of the empire cartoonishly evil and then try to have conflicted characters like Wave. It reminds me of this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hn1VxaMEjRU
Go to bed Seryuu
can someone tell me what manga his is?
Boku no Filename
I'm glad Justice died.
If it were a Seinen / more like a Seinen:
* you would see more grey Morals / Conflicts
* Evil & Good on each Side
* More Missions that do not pan out the Way they should.
* And all of that not necessarily Balanced.
Remember, the way to hell is paved with good Intentions.
Wave really needs to get his shit slapped. Seriously he's just as bad for turning a blind eye to this behavior. Does he think the guy who taught him how to fight would condone this kind of empire?
Because the definition of evil and good is subjective.
Kinda hard to not be seen evil when you do work for obviously corrupt people under the flag of justice
