I thought this was going to be a show for babies. I was very wrong.
that scene was amazing
Oh just you wait
Why does Killua collect the nutbladders of old people?
>show for babies
I can't believe back then I thought the series would be kiddie shit. Then again first few chapters is boring as fuck.
I almost dropped it because of the first few episodes
I just finished Yorknew and I am seriously considering dropping it. Not that it's bad per se, I just feel like other than Killua and Hisoka there are few if any likable characters. Is Greed Island good>
The Chimera Ant Arc has plenty of likable characters.
>I thought this was going to be a show for babies
Why would you even think that in the first place?
Yea they are. Shitty fishing rod weapon and goofy looking monster shit.
Lots of tears too
What is wrong with you?
My dad bought me Hunter X Hunter and NaruTaru. That's was an interesting start into manga at 14 years age.
because it looked like a typical shonen
HxH is the anti FT
>a typical shonen
And what pray-tell is the typical shonen.
Please don't tell me you think it's a genre.
Hunter Exam is the only good arc in HxH, unless you love Nen asspulls of course.
I hope you thanked him.
Greed Island is good if you like 80 year old Lolis.
Gotta admit this is the worst thing about HxH.
I'm bad with people. I usually forget to greet or thank them and stuff like that.
I love even older lolis.
well theirs my oddly pacific fetish catered to.
I'm sure you meant something else.
Sitting on a cell phone?
no it wasn´t, at least in this shitty 2011 adaption
Apparently it's a show for ants.
some one needs a time out
Wait until you meet the Phantom Troupe and Not Cell.
I cried like a girl and I'm going to cry again in 20 or so weeks
Why did Ponzu have to die.
What a bad translation.
Why is that there? Was there no QC?
You should see the uncensored version, either in the manga or in the original anime adaptation.
Because Togashi wanted to remind the readers that he doesn't pander to waifufags.
>not liking the yorknew arc
They should have found different way to censor the heart.
>not liking doggie bag
That made it even better.
Greed Island started shit with all the infodumping but it got a bit better. The villains were pretty crap still imo
Madhouse actually made this creepier than the manga.
I remember people flipping their shit over this scene because it was censored.
Greed island > chimera
And kurapika is worst char
Kurapika is the biggest Nen asspuller ever though.
Chimera would have been better if it didn't take so fucking long to get things going. The pacing is miserable.
>unless you love Nen asspulls of course
I sort of do. But only if they are well thought out. I mean who didn't like Kurapika taking out Uvogin like that despite Uvogin seeming like a fucking indestructible obstacle.
Greed Island was worst imo. We just got off from nen training to...more nen training with a disgusting man loli or whatever that thing is. Then the faggot volleyball sections and a lame final boss.
Glad CA arc made it interesting again.
Greed Island is very enjoyable, the final battle is great and full of suspense, but you can skip it, in the end is just an ark where both Gon and Killua get a lot stronger and other few stuff.
Woah there bud. I agree with you about the shitty final bad guy and the stupid super powered dodge ball. However, you need to take that back about Biscuit.
I'm upset because I thought she was a cute girl companion around their age ready to join up but she turned out to be a buff old woman.
Such shit taste.
I still think that's only because Chimera Ant was heavily plagued with Togashi breaks. It does take a little long to start up, but that combined with Togashi putting out like 10 chapters a year really made it feel long.
It didn't seem nearly as bad when I re-read HxH.
I liked Greed Island a hell of a lot in the anime simply because it was so fast paced, they didn't waste time at all. I was disappointed when they hit the Chimera Ant arc and suddenly they slowed the pacing down. Not that it isn't like that in the manga, but still.
>shitty 2011 adaption
>More faithtful to the manga
Did someone say dead waifu?
Because Gon somehow manages to look more childish than kid Goku.
You mean husbando right?
Is it just me or did the author give Kurapika a cheap copy of Sharingan?
traps are waifus
APPLY YOURSELF THE KNOT IN THE NECK.
Why would you even respond to such shitty bait?
You gotta admit it's pretty similar in terms of it activating when getting angry and the red color tone. Other than that maybe it was too far calling it a copy. Maybe just a homage.
I dont know why people expected CA to be fast paced, this arc is basically Words x Words.
I'm going to give you 2/10 because you got those idiots to respond seriously.
Everyone's reaction to it in 2011 was far better.
I didn't answer the stupidity that post was, I directly told the retard to hang himself.
It's not an answer, but a arc reflex
first cover really makes it look babby tier
I am somewhat certain that kurapika's eyes were introduced before the sharingan was
sage for faggotry
ant arc was shit. come on, ants? such a fucking retarded idea.
What did you want? Aliens or some shit? Cockroaches?
I remember when HxH was in Shonen Jump here in America. The only thing that caught my eye was that it was by Togashi, but I never really paid it any mind. I'm glad I held off though. I've already waited years for Kingdom Hearts content, I don't need another series to break my heart.
What about mantis shrimps?
with top hats.
>Gon looking shocked
Shitty adaptation, Gon wasn't shocked in the 2011 anime or manga
Go prep the machine Sherman we got work to do in the past!
>We will never get to see all the nen abilities Chrollo stole
how about NOT ants yea that sounds much better
But ants are right up there with roaches when it comes to adaptability. They also don't seem like a threat until you're already fucked and they are everywhere.
>No more Feitan
>We will never see a floor master fight
>Hisoka will never get a backstory
Should we have cared about floor masters to begin with?
MLA will never get an adaptation though.
Fuck I thought this was something out of a MegaTen game
That's a Laser class son.
>with top hats.
And monocles, don't forget the monocles.
Too bad this series is shit because author is a lazy fuck and going senile. This shit will never get finished.
If you don't like the yorknew arc then you really should drop it. It's the best arc in the series by far.
>dat phantom troupe
seriously, 10/10 season. best season in any anime i've ever seen.
At the time, when the arc was new, I think it would have been cool to see one in action. Hisoka is already at a master's level, but Togashi has a habit of disregarding potentially entertaining characters. Like the Shadow Beasts.
>lazy fuck and going senile
More like he decided to become Mr. Mom.
Not even worth it. Book didn't save him from getting assblasted by an amateur like Kurapika.
Nen asspull. Anyone can get fucked in the HxH world if the author makes them have an ability that is hyper specific.
I would seriously pay to watch a fight between Mureum and Cell.
Kurapika's ability even without the chain jail is extremely powerful. Like his healing chain and dowsing chain. You can't hide from him, and even if you injure him he'll just heal right back up.
Why is she so hot?
because she's dumb
Fucking this. I actually wanted Uvogin to win, just to stop his edge.
>tfw she'll never show up again
>wanting a big hairy man to win instead of a petite blonde trap
actual faggot detected
I know, /a/non. I know.
Kill off a main character? ABSURD. I did like the fight though. But he is the definition of edge.
She's pretty hot but her ability is pretty uninteresting and shit. She almost lost to a fodder ant.
It's the Judgement chain that is the hyper-specific asspull. Chain Jail is just icing on the cake. It's the same reason the ant king is losing to a little blind girl. Her Nen ability is so specific that it is impossible for anyone to beat her.
Because she doesn't try to be hot.
>not wanting a bro to win
>wanting generic "MUH PEOPLE ARE DEAD" shtick
Anyone else hate how Gon's nen ability is complete and utter shit? I mean even Killua managed to make his useful by increasing his speed with it.
I liked the greed arc, biscuit was a really cool character, and it was kind of nice to go from the yorknew arc into a more lighthearted one. I thought the villian of the Greed Island Arc was really terrible though, I could never really see him as a powerful enemy for some reason. Also healing him them the end after he killed all those people was pretty stupid.
>a one shot that makes everyone that sees him charge it up piss their pants
>an aura sword
What's shit about it aside from the ridiculously long charge up time?
>calling a mass murderer a bro because lel le epik murder is so kewl amirite :3
>orphan who had his entire family murdered is the edgy one
refer to >>101284609
Man I can't wait to listen to Departure another 114 times, its the highlight of my week, every week
YOU CAN SMILLLEEE AGAAAIN
>What's shit about it aside from the ridiculously long charge up time?
That's the reason. Aside from getting his ass killed from charging that shit, it's way too basic and easy to figure out. Nen abilities that focus on pure force or that are too basic never do well in the long run.
I wonder if he browsers Hunter Tor and get off on little boys.
How basic it is actually works to his advantage. He can apply it to almost any fighting tactic. If he got rid of the charge up time it would be better than almost all the flashy abilities because of its versatility.
Enhancers are just basic like that. Out of all the enhancers in the series, only about 2 or 3 have something really special, like Palm and Netero.
>healing him them the end after he killed all those people was pretty stupid.
Yeah. But Gon's views on morality are near non-existent. Bisky best hunta.
Faggot x Yaoi
Why haven't they changed the opening yet?
you just go away
Because departure is perfect.
On the bright side, all the ED's have been good. Though I'm not sure why the beginning arc, arguably the most lighthearted out of all the arcs, was the one with the Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas ED
I don't really like it. The only ending I really liked was the first one too.
Because budget was used on visuals.
>I've been listening to Departure for over two years
Jesus Fuck, if I'm not smiling by now...
>that feel when i know that when i finish hxh i can't ever watch another shonen anime again because all others are shit
Do you think they'll animate the Chairman Election Arc?
It's not interesting at all though. Especially when you see the huge flaws of those types of abilities through Uvogin. I just would have just preferred something more complex for the main character. Don't see it being an advantage vs the top tier nen users like Hisoka.
Despite the genre, I find it my favorite ED. Where 99 spend a whole episode on Leorio's backstory you get everyone's pasts in split second still images. Not that I'm complaining about 99's filler. Shipwreck island was neat.
I feel like if they were to change it now it would just be treason. Like even if it was the best OP in the world it would still be heresy
Hey /a/ could it have been HunterXHunter was I saw back then?
I once randomly came on a a channel on TV, so it must have been something very mainstream.
There were these 2 kids who entered a inside some kind of pyramide and there was this square arena with no walls and there it entered this tall black and bald man who apparently was a convict with very fast hands.
Well this kid just takes out his heart before anyone notice anything, the guy begs for his heart and dies....while the little kid cheers for him.
it's been 2 years? Holy shit... What am I doing with my life?
Does it fucking sound like it?
How was /a/ like when it was announced? I'm ashamed for experiencing it late.
Nope. Must have been Yugioh or something.
I have no idea, I never watched or read the series I was just curious.
Could Machi's nen threads stand up to Hisoka's Bungee gum? They seem so similar
Last time I checked that was about people taking a card game too seriously, not kids ripping convict's hearts like any day.
Pretty sure Machi's nen treads are alot more resistant than Hisoka's Bungee gum since it doesn't have as many properties
the opening image was the image you were talking about, it was even linked in this thread to a video about the scene you were talking about. I mean, come on /a/non. Read the thread.
I only picked it up around ep 17 so I have no idea what /a/ thought of it myself.
There's a video of the scene you are mentioning in this very same thread.
Fuck. Read >>101286143
Replied to myself like a moron.
Her ability is pretty amazing, you're retarded.
ah I see
yep, just saw it, thanks, well that's certaintly odd, sure the guy was a murderer but isnt that thing a bit overkill? And what kind of kid could act like that and feel no remorse?
He seems impressed rather than shocked.
As did I until I saw a gif of some dude shooting a girl to death multiple times and then eating her. How the fuck did this manga make it into shounen jump? It's dark as shit.
Why wasn't Chrollo with the troupe in the Ant arc, didn't they find the nen dispeller?
Watch the show.
>We will never get to see Chrollo rape and torture Kurapika as revenge for the disgraceful defeat he received after he gets his powers back
I've been a fan forever and have read the series over and over, but I'm showing it to my girlfriend for the first time. We're up to date and watching every new episode that comes out, but I'm so fucking mad. She liked Kite so much she looked up the wiki and spoiled herself on what happens to him post-Chimera arc.
She really likes Komugi and she keeps wanting to read her wiki entry to see what happened to her. Ahhhhhghh.
Because they don't stick togheter all the time
It would be a matter of who moved fastest and used gyo the most. Hisoka's gum can stick to any surface while Machi needs a needle. Both could set up all kinds of traps and I'm positive they'd have to constantly think 5 steps ahead of one another.
But Hisoka did sort of break all of his fingers when trying to catch Razor's ball while Machi's threads seem more resistant. So, whoever gets touched first loses.
But they were talking as if they had no leader, weren't they saying the first person to kill the ant queen became interim leader?
Skipping Greed Island is a bad idea, it expounds the whole nen business into a fighting system.
I got HXH and Love Hina for my first manga back in 2003, and somehow I still find myself returning to those manga whenever I feel down.
Nigga you dumb
NEVER CRIED READING A MANGA BUT DAMN DUDE
It's no different than some of the stuff that was done in Dragonball.
The Japanese really don't have a freak-out reaction to dark or "naughty" content like Westerners.
They seem to understand human nature better than we do now.
Also, Hiso is awesome. A man I can truly admire.
actually now looking at her she reminds me of an older Rikka
Why is Togashi so good at writing romance? I didn't even like Keiko but I still liked her with Yusuke.
Or at least it would be if Hisoka, Gon and Killua weren't such a perfect couple.
Hell, at the time I started reading this I was younger than the main characters and look at me now, still checking this shit for updates.
I was a little older than Guts in the first chapters of berserk when I started it, but he grew and became older than me, and now I'm older than him again. shit is sad.
>I was younger than the main characters
I don't know if this series has made me an ephebophiliac or if it's just me still liking some of the cast from when I was underage. Gon and Killua are the only shotas I sexualize, I swear. And maybe Zushi too.
Wouldn't be much of a match considering Frieza would mop the floor with HxH in his first form.
Putting Cell in is beyond overkill.
Oh shit, I remember I was chuuni as fuck when I started reading this, and made up my own nen powers and everything with my friends.
I had a really unfair death note power, that was also incredibly original
The fight would end in an instant. Fucking DB tier piccolo could blow up the moon from hundreds of thousands of miles away. Pretty sure mureum would evaporate in cells presence.
I think Killua was my husbando he still kind of is
You shouldn't use husbando so lightly. Just add him to your harem. I know Gon, Hisoka, Illumi and nearly all of the male cast are in mine.
No, I'm still new to that husbando-waifu concept but I adopted that little fucker as some kind of imaginary friend. This has happened with no other fictional character ever and never will.
I was so autistic, it's not even funny
worst kind of people
Just saved that image as "I ShiggyXDiggy". Thanks, /a/non.
Someone needs to make a sweating Hisoka.
I would do it myself. But my photoshop skills aren't up to par.
>how do I even into photoshop?
(blogshit) on a games design and development course. Everyone's doing their photoshop stuff and I have no idea what I'm doing.
I fucking love this show. I hope we get a fight next ep. I didn't think they could bullshit us another ep with no fights. But they pulled it off somehow.
>Entire anime previously leading up to this scene was mildly violent, but had no foreshadowing of any kind - that this type of scene was coming up.
>Scene happens in anime
>that feel I'm not from /v/, fuck off when you see that scene for the first time.
I lost it. He was my MC of the month from that moment on. Killua is ferocious no doubt. Also, keep in mind I hadn't read the manga yet, so this scene blew my fucking mind.
>Lots of tears too
You mean like Pitou's tears?
the fishing rod weapon was interesting as fuck, kinda sad Togashi stopped using it.
Wow. I'm actually fucking mad.
What? The first few episodes were great. The fishing rod was a nice touch and was definitely unique.
I loved the narrator exposition. I can understand why people hate it though
Jojo and fag do not go together. It is impossible to be a fag an enjoy Jojo.
except Kurapicka is USELESS against anyone but the Spiders.
That chain won't do shit but hurt someone
how is Kurapicka edgy? because he gets mad that someone talks about his dead family?
The nerve of some people. He's generally a nice guy to everyone else.
HxH came first. I'm hoping you were baiting, though.
He himself isn't so much edgy, he was created to add the edginess though. Like his personality isn't really that bad but his backstory was given to him to make him edgy
He can restrain opponents using the judgement chain, he can heal himself completely almost instantly, he can search for pretty much anything using the dowsing chain, and there's the other finger left.
The only thing that's only meant to be used against Ryodan members is the capturing chain, which forces foes into zetsu.
You should've read the manga first, what's the deal with picking the heart, placing it in a cloth sack and acting like you don't wanna touch it?
Goddamnit why do Hunter Hunter episodes go by so quickly? Everything else i watch that's 20 mins long drags on for eternity yet by the time the narrator is done explaining someone's thoughts/actions as a minute (from their frame of reference) drags by the episode is already half over.
>Says jimmies remain stable
what? I don't think so, I think Kurapicka was created for the same reason Leorio was, to show how many different kinds of people can become a hunter. (well, I think that's what the entire first arc is for, to show the makings of different hunters in the world)
Killua is far more edgy, he's a fucking child assassin. He has KILL in his name.
I don't think he can restrain people with judgement chain, I thought he used that to find out if they were telling the truth.
Chain Jail restrains people, right? And healing yourself doesn't help you win the fight, just stay alive.
In a nen battle, he's fucked aside from using the basics to win.
There's a reason why Kurapicka's teacher told Gon and Killua to NEVER do what he did.
>Goddamnit why do Hunter Hunter episodes go by so quickly?
Well, the story is interesting, it's all well animated, the narration is told good and you're forced to wait a week for more.
I know what you mean, I just started watching the episodes three week ago. Everything was fine when I could just go straight to a new episode, but waiting for these new ones is killing me. I don't mind the narrator, it's just when they repeat the same thing three different times it gets kind of annoying.
Try putting Hyori Ittai as your ringtone, so it feels like everything you enjoy gets cut off like the show.
It's just as grating.
>that feel when a phone call when I'm about to masterbate
It's like I'm in Hunter X Hunter!
Better get used to it. We're in for the long haul the next few episodes with Welfin and fodder friends.
I didn't say Killua wasn't edgy. But Killua isn't overly grimdark. He's actually really cheerful in most cases. Kurapika on the other hand always has his edgy past on his mind and is always The Spiders this The Spiders that.
He just needs to get them down for a split second and throw that nen chain in there, then create a condition they have to meet. It's really not that hard.
Healing yourself is pretty important, I'd think, not to mention since all his nen types are at maximum he's as based as it goes. He wanted Gon's nen type originally so he could fight by himself, but now not only does he have access to it at the same level Gon does, he's got transformation the same level as Killua, materialization the same level as Koltopi, emission the same level as Razor.
Kurapika is a fucking beast.
Remember his clan, even without nen, gave the Ryodan a good fight just by having those eyes.
it's kinda hard to not talk about the people you're investigating.
Not to mention he was fine during the Zodilyck arc, every other time something spider related appeared.
It's not like he said, "Fuck killua, muh vengeance" or something. Not to mention he slowly learned how vengeance was ruining him when he almost lost Gon and Killua to the spiders for being reckless.
He's not as edgy as you guys are making him out to be, when he got mad he had a reason to be mad.
>Killua is far more edgy, he's a fucking child assassin. He has KILL in his name.
>I hate the spiders, they killed my family."
"BAAAAAAW, CRYBABY FAGGOT, SO DARK AND EDGY"
>Killua kills two people because he lost at a game with Netero
>So cool, take that faggots hahaha
Watching was that rock song that played when gon fought hisoka?
>People calling Kurapika edgy because he wants to make the Phantom Troupe pay for their crimes and keep other massacres from happening
Because Killua started off being a cold assassin that changed due to Gon. It's all he knew. By the end he's pretty much edge free. Meanwhile Kurapika becomes the edgemaster fixated on muh revenge and muh eyes.
God I love that hairstyle on Bisky.
I think the true meaning of edgy was lost long ago.
>implying you wouldn't flip your shit if you found out that all your efforts to stop the spiders were undone by some nen erasing faggot
Killua's not edgy at all, he's incredibly well adjusted for a kid raised as a killing machine.
He doesn't know if the effects was removed or not. Fuck we don't even know what's going on with Chrollo.
Kurapika isn't edgy, he just doesn't fit into the story very well. I hope he teams up with Gon and Killua eventually, instead of staying a separate storyline.
they called and told him.
>Implying the story didn't end at the world tree.
I cried my eyes out here
This manga is such a fucking mess
such a disappointing mess
>the last chapter says to hunt Beyond Netero
>the series is on hiatus
I think Togashi is either going to do a time skip or wait until the anime is over to continue
I felt bad, Togashi introduced us to two cute kids and then slaughtered them.
I think Killua's more normal than Gon. At least he has a better judge of character. If Pitou didn't kill Kite, Gon would have tried to befriend him/her.
>Listening to reason
that's what makes Gon a psychopath, he gives zero fucks unless it's in his interests. He's Goku if he was neutral.
The only asspull I can think about is the fucking wish girl bullshit
HxH has probably the most leveled and explained powers for a shounen manga
The volleyball scene is sex in the manga.
>People actually listen to departure
I just skip it every time, since episode one. The only times I didn't skip was because there was new animation, but I retardedly got my hopes up and then heard the first few seconds of departure and muted that shit.
The only ED I didn't skip was the second one.
what? He was listening to reason, he just said he made a fail safe just in case.
he probably found out, which is why his eyes were red when they show him again at the funeral.
It's also why Hisoka finally came back. (he accomplished his mission from greed island)
even then that wasn't an asspull, Killua didn't want Illumi to know he has free reign over Nanika since one nen needle can leave him in Illumi's control
Just because you warn that you'll post blogshit doesn't make it suddenly acceptable.
Don't do it.
>skipping Just Awake
>skipping hyori ittai
can you have shittier taste?
>he probably found out
Now you're just guessing. I finally won my first Internet argument. There is no objective evidence we know what happened with Chrollo or what Kurapika is thinking. :3
>Gon sacrifices everything he had to defeat pitou
>Oh wait nevermind we have this girl that can magically undo nen and heal Gon
>However the costs are extremely heavy and Killua and everyone he knows will probably have to die for it
>Oh wait nevermind Killua can just make her do it and nothing bad happens looooooololol
>all is well that ends well
pretty bullshit if you ask me
Stop. Just stop.
>all is well that ends well
>on the run from his insane brother
The only person who got off without consequence is Gon
I said probably, chill out nigga. Yes, you won.
Oh please. We don't even know what Killua's loophole or condition is. For all we know there is still a price for Gon's recovery but it just hasn't been called in yet.
There's absolutely no price when Killura "orders" her to do something as opposed for "wishing" her to do something.
THAT's the fucking loophole
>People trying to defend lazy storytelling
Don't do this please.
His brother was always yandere for Killua.
Nothing really changes honestly.
You ain't seen nothing yet.
I want more Pariston and Ging trying to outwit each other.
If I accept that Killua isn't paying a price for Alluka's wish granting then the manga is ruined for me. I'll leave it like that until the author continues it because there definitely has to be something sinister building up for all those wishes.
So how much longer do we have until Gon goes nuts? I keep hearing it's awesome.
You know what? I fucking hate togashi. He introduced a lot of possibilities of an arc after that world tree meeting between gon and ging and now he is on hiatus again. Also Remember that Hanzo was looking for a scroll that no normal human could enter? I think it's the dark continent and I want to fucking see hanzo's nen. Being a HxHfag is suffering.
Your tears are delicious
I-I don't remember this. I don't want to re-read election just yet, but now I'm tempted.
So what? Killua will keep using his Shelong to teleport Illumi.
he has to know Illumi is there first, but it would be hilarious if he just did it randomly.
Hanzo's still alive too, how can he be so based?
I'm still firmly rooted to the idea that Hisoka will kill Alluka just to get Killua's attention.
Wouldn't that make him enemies with Illumi and the rest of the fam? Could he handle all that?
I think he wants more than he can handle but still enjoy it. He could have easily fought all the Spiders, but that would end too quickly. He could fight Killua first, but Illumi might end with a double death.
Who would win in a fight? Mereum, Gon-san or Kurapika?
doesn't matter if he can handle it, he wants it.
Against Killua? Meruem and Gon-san. Kurapika would just get his heart plucked out or electrocuted.
Gon-son if bloodlusted
If not Mereum
Gon-san if bloodlusted
If not Mereum
I haven't read the manga yet, but Gon kills Pitou right? Pitou was the reason I started watching HxH to begin with. I sure am going to miss Pitou.
I love it.
anyway, here's the page that got everyone hyped only to get their anuses ruptured, though it makes sense to me.
Killua and Alluka have to be on the run forever now. The only thing Killua could do is erase Illumi's memory, but then he'd try and kill Alluka's again because he doesn't know.
Killua and Alluka are pretty much fucked.
No anon. You don't know the half of it.
>Killua and Alluka are pretty much fucked.
Killua may have to flee to the D.C. No doubt Illumi has all kinds of connections and with his license, he can get even more so there's nowhere for Killua to run.
It's adding insult to injury. Your heart is worth dog shit.
I like it that way better than the manga.
Just finished the chimera ant arc and I need a tissue.
It's alright anon. Due to hiatus, you'll never see any more suffering again.
why tards says that alluka is a boy?
>Implying ants go to heaven
Not him but I didn't think much of it when I watched it. Then again I watched the 1999 series which was already noticeably different from he manga.
That cover was the whole reason I never got into it before. I thought it was a kids manga or something.
The only reason I started watching it, was because I saw that Hisoka picture when he says "I'm getting hard." That looked so funny that I needed to watch the source.
Then I got hooked after that. I haven't read the manga yet, but I'm planning on it after the 2011 adaptation is done.
Which Hunter would you fug?
>Killua may have to flee to the D.C.
I'm thinking this is what will happen, Alluka's pretty much guaranteed R.I.P though, just don't know how or when.
Not to mention Killua can't just ask for help, because then people will start to wonder why.
>implying Netero has any chance against the king at Gungi
Why does this kid have long nails?
What up with Gon's face after he sees Killua crushing theheart
*after he sees Killua pull out the heart
>Woah that was fuckin' sick
"That's the dick I will one day suck"
that artist guy in Greed Island sums him up well
"this kid is dangerous!"
>goddamn, cute AND deadly
You mean any cast member with a sense of morals. I know Meleron and Zephile mentioned it too. Gon's nuts. Wing calls him and Killua monsters after teaching them nen because he could see their insane potential for power.
2011 fixed it up
gon ain't no cocksucker, killua lives to please HIM
>implying he didn't please a few lonely sailors at the bar
Mito was probably Gon's pimp. If he didn't make enough money, she sent him out so he had to survive at night in the forest.
Pouf has shown me what it looks like to be so gay you are unable to function
dude, it started on episode one. it's been a slow slip into insanity for him. But vtech is kicking in and he's going to go full batshit
Hisoka or Killua. Hisoka would definitely kill me and Killua probably would too for taking virginity before Gon could but it would be worth it.
Why is he so sexual? No man, woman, tranny or other can seem to resist him and he's like the Ted Bundy of anime.
I can't figure it out. It may be because he's so shameless about his own sexuality and what his dick's doing while having a fantastic body.
It's his looks, charisma, dark humor, and him having no past. We know something about almost everyone even if it's small. Like Razor as a kid or the Spiders in Meteor City. But Hisoka just has his gum. That's it. If he had childhood flashback that could make or break his character. I'd still let him do things to me.
If I'm going to try hunter x hunter
Should I watch the old series, or the newer one?
I wish Kalluto appeared more. I love me some traps.
The newer one is better in every way except arguably soundtrack
Someone ask for traps? Cause I got traps.
Kalluto is a boy.
My supervisor at work didn't know Kalluto was a boy. When he found out his face was priceless.
His second appearance? I think Togashi originally had him as a girl but decided to make him a boy the next time he showed up. Might be wrong though. He's definitely a boy.
>There is a relatively common misconception that Kalluto is female. Despite wearing a kimono, typically a traditional dress for Japanese women, Kalluto is a boy:
>The 2004 Data Book seems to say that he is a boy with the tidbit: 「将来性豊かな着物少年」 (lit. A kimono-wearing boy with a lot of prospects.)
Why does he do that?
He's slowly making me think I'm into traps by taking a well-designed seemingly-female character and basically just saying "oh you're into that? yeah there's a dick in there".
I'm immediately turned off by the thought of traps, but several mangas did it, and so many times it's starting to get to me.
fuck off dragontard
There's a thing in Japan where wealthy families would dress their male children as girls up until a certain age for good luck. It's not really done anymore, but still pops up in anime from time to time.
I wonder why Killua's mom only has boys. Do they kill any female children, or is it just a coincidence?
Kalluto is a qt though. I wish there was more porn of him.
Could long-hair Gon take on the king? Let's say he was the one who killed Kaito or something, basically Gon had the same level of resolve. If Pitou didn't have a nen that lingered on after death, Gon would've come out pretty much unscathed from the fight.
Makes me think that Kikyo used to be Japponese royalty and was dumped in Meteor City. Would explain her wearing a kimono in the flashbacks. Togashi needs to stop making side characters more interesting than the MC.

Really? I've never even heard of that.
When will we hear more about Silva's fight with Kuroro?
It is like 5 years already, and I still mad at this.
I thought it was with another random member. I mean, the only reason he's stop a mission is if something like a double contract happened.
During Kuroro's fight against Silva and Zeno, Silva says something along the lines of "he's gotten much stronger than last time", followed by an image of the two facing off, and he even knows Kuroro's ability is to steal abilities.
It might've happened when he went to kill that random member Killua knew about, but as you said, why would he bother?
Actually been planning on picking this up soon myself, nice timing as usual /a/.
Should I go for the newer or the older adaptation?
Ah, well, the answer is never. But, the Troupe just wouldn't let another member get killed but they'd still die of their own will. So Silva most likely had a hard time because once he managed to kill the one member, he had Chrollo ready to rip his head off right after.
Goddammit I didn't know I needed this before. Is there more?
I love every character, I love every arc and I can't wait to see election arc animated.
The style recently picked up for iphone/android backgrounds on pixiv. But if you mean Ging and Pariston, then there's quite a bit. It just so happens I don't have any saved at the moment. May just dump it in the /cm/ thread when or if I remember.
>May just dump it in the /cm/ thread when or if I remember.
PHANTOM TROUPE DID NOTHING WRONG.
Fuck I wouldn't be surprised of Togashi made Kurapika clan end up being evil or some shit just to make him suffer
Does anyone else find most of the Zodiacs extremely boring? If Togashi ever works again I really hope he kills most of them off.
I'm just waiting for them to kick some ass. Dammit Togashi.
They look like One Piece characters, just not as entertaining. It's like having Buggy act like Law or Brook not tell skull jokes.
Hisoka called most of them scrubs though and really weak. They don't seem that great and it's kinda hard to believe Netero handpicked most of them.
Maybe he handpicked them all for their administrative skills, to help him run things, rather than because of their strength in battle?
Piyon's the cutest confirmed girl in the series
Too bad it jumped the shark with greed island and the ant shit.
Was a really good show before that.
I'm sure many if not most of them have crazy powers.
Up until that screenshot it was still for babbies though, at least for the current series. I mean, cloth covering? Really?
Afro dude seems the strongest besides Ging.
Well, him placing the heart in Jonas' hand afterwards made it pretty funny.
