Is Jlist a good site to buy stuff from? My mother loves totoro and her birthday is coming up and I want to get her some totoro things that you can't find in the us normally. I've read reviews online about how stuff on that site is most of the time out of stock but they don't tell you until they've already billed you.

J-List is pricey, but I haven't had any problems with the few things I've ordered from them. Most of my weeaboo paraphernalia comes from amiami.

If you want more specifics, go dig up the buyfags' FAQ from the archives.
