Hey guys, Nasu said something but I don't understand shit.
We need a translator here.
>"It is an extreme story, but please believe that things other than the zero new work stay night, even in the image plane also in the narrative" [Fate] Kinoko Nasu
To the anon from last thread, I did click the application, then this popped up.
>"More Saber for everybody"
Good lord what the fuck are you doing?
Okay, at this point just download it from piratebay or nyaa prepatched. Really.
More Saber, more!
Downloading from fuwanovel, apparently.
Yeah, I'm doing that...
Great, Nasu hardly says something every six months and we have no translators here.
It's not working because you're trying to use an installer on a game that is already installed and patched.
Might need to redownload that shit, but the unprepatched version.
Well, fuck me sideways.
Once it finishes downloading just unzip it, then just click the Fate application icon. Should run normally.
Another anon paraphrased it here >>101231439
>Pretty much killed the idea that ufo Sn will be Zero2.
>The two works are different and the stuff was instructed to treat them as different works.
>Instead of a sequel to Zero, it will be a new stay night.
I can do a quick and dirty translation. That other anon's summary gets the gist of it though.
Fuck Urobuchi. Fuck ufotable.
Kawai Kenji in music pls.
Well, seems like he's saying a lot of things. We need to know.
I have to admit I was pretty heartbroken when Tainaka Sachi didn't do the Fate/Zero opening. I'm now hoping we get some form of THIS ILLUSION/disillusion for the reboot or else I'll really be upset.
Kalafina's better anyway.
I'd rather Kajiura arrange the original soundtrack or have them use the Soundtrack Reproduction that was released in 2012.
Well, whatever. Like I said, as long as it's some form of disillusion, I'm good, Tainaka or not.
"I'll go so far as to say, S/N is completely different to Zero in its visual, also story-telling"
Always and forever.
Yeah, well, that's just, like, you know, YOUR opinion, man.
According to someone else's translation I found, that part is less about whether or not they'll treat it as a sequel and more about Nasu fretting that they'll lose the atmosphere and feeling of F/SN if they try too hard to make it like F/Z, and then the ufotable staff assuring him that they won't.
>"stay night aims at one thing, zero aims at another,
if one were to connect the two, story, atmosphere, and feeling would all fall apart.
>Simply this is because zero and stay night were written by two different authors. I hope you will respect that."
>This irrationality was dispelled upon a speech.
I had told the staff who finished zero, a big project, "Forget the methodology of the former work."
>Meanwhile, the staff who assembled for the occasion plainly gave it back to me.
>"Of course we know. Rather than a continuation of zero, this is a new work called stay night."
>At that moment Kinoko Nasu's "But even now, what should I do about Fate" hesitation was gone.
And that's why I love stay/night.
Wow, I didn't realize that text was formatted so weirdly. You get the picture, though.
Always and forever.
Yeah, well, that's just, like, you know, YOUR opinion, man.
Might as well assemble the Kara no Kyoukai staff, or something.
I'm going to translate it little by little for the accurate translation. Please bear with me...
As Takeuchi, president Kondo, director miura said to us in Type Moon Ace,
With are going to aim to make a "new stay night".
This was the first word that was told to all the staff in the first production meeting
Just to be a little more explicit, he's talking here about the new anime being treated as a sequel just in terms of atmosphere and overall feel, not whether or not they intend to address any or all of the plot threads Zero left hanging.
It's late here, so this isn't my best, but here's part of it:
First part is just seasonal greetings and thanks for support, etc.
Every creator's work is like a child to them.
I wished for it to grow up to be healthy in every respect, and so Fate has grown this much.
As time passes, the child you knew will disappear, but it will surely show you a different side of itself.
It's an extreme story, but please think of it as something separate from Zero in terms of both story and animation.
What Stay Night aimed for was different from what Zero aimed for.
Presumptively trying to tie this together will destroy both the story and the atmosphere.
Stay Night and Zero can mutually respect each other because of the fact that they were different stories written by different authors.
Zero should've never happened in the first place.
Actually, that last part seems to be a quote of something he said previously. I don't know the context, but the last sentence might be more along the lines of "We can mutually respect each other because of the fact that Zero and FSN were different stories written by different authors."
Heard that ufo? Stop selling stay/night as a direct sequel to Zero.
>implying it isn't
I hope to see some superheroics
I said that knowing very well that it was an irrational argument.
I told the staff who had kindly completed the major work that was Zero that I wanted them to forget the methodology of the previous work.
In that context, the staff there gave me this clear response:
"Of course, we understand that. This is not a continuation of Zero, but a new work called Stay Night after all."
To prevent to happen Madoka
Yeah. Fucking Nasu, encouraging his friend like that, and look now. No one reads TM shit anymore, everybody watches Urobuchi's stuff.
>No one reads TM shit anymore
Probably because they've read them all already? There's Tsukihime, F/SN, and that one I can't remember with a mage girl, what else has type moon made, besides sequels to those?
At this point, Nasu Kinoko's worries like "Really, at this point, is Fate alright?" vanished.
I am grateful to the staff who, even after such a great success, can give me that kind of immediate reply, and I am grateful that this craftsmanship is possible.
Although I'm unskilled, I am helping to create a Fate/Stay Night (Ufo Version) that will be suitable for the tenth anniversary.
The rest is mostly about spending 5 days a week on Tsukihime and 2 days a week on Fate, on top of other stuff (incl. Extra-related things). Also an implication that if Dark Souls 2 comes out then all is lost.
Rakkyo and Canaan.
So it's basically confirmed that the new Fate will be anime-original, right?
More like when. Nasu will be lost to the world come March. As will I.
As original as the Zero anime, then? Some variations from the novel?
FUCKING DARK SOULS 2!!!!
>Also an implication that if Dark Souls 2 comes out then all is lost
Soulfags ruining everything, again.
>ufotable repeating Deen mistakes
In before apologists defend them anyway
Visuals aside, the F/SN anime wasn't really much worse than the VN.
Haha even nasu admits that F/SN is juvenile highschool BS compared to F/Z.
>m-m-muh ginger teenager MC!
>m-m-muh pseudo harem!
>All the F/Z hate in this thread
Oh my God. What shit taste faggots.
>everybody watches Urobuchi's stuff.
Gen's crap has been forgettable as soon as it finishes airing while Nasu's stuff gets discussed for years.
No one gives a flying fuck about Psycho Piss or Gargantia.
Meanwhile, everyone watches TM stuff, instead.
Even Hideo Kojima watched KnK.
Look, here is Hideo Kojima's blog entry where he had lunch with Nasu and got Nasu to sign his copy of KnK.
It wasn't a bad adaption of the weakest route, which is what some people don't seem to get. Sure it got the characters and plot wrong, but shit wasn't horrible in some ways.
Then someone comes around and makes the same thing look amazing by putting in actual effort, and we're instantly spoiled thinking that this is how it should really be. Still a do over of the Fate route is going to grate people no matter how well done it is unless they take some real liberties there.
THE LEGEND NEVER DIES
>Nasu laying down the law saying not to expect F/Z as F/SN is his story not Urobouchi's.
I love both parts but this alone is making me happy to know they won't be playing this off as F/Z part 2 but as the original series he had done.
It was still awful in many ways and no one should be allowed to watch it as a substitute for the VN.
Especially the UBW movie. Don't understand how they thought they could get a story that takes around a 24 hours or more to read in a hour and a half.
Type-moon game by Fromsoft when?
>Sure it got the characters and plot wrong
But that's the bread and butter of Fate/stay night.
>No one gives a flying fuck about Psycho Piss or Gargantia.
Yeah, it's not like both of them are getting second seasons or anything.
"Bitch" is her normal state, so this is hardly an achievement for her.
>It wasn't a bad adaption
>it got the characters and plot wrong
>not being able to go from comatose to bitch in two seconds flat
Step up senpai.
I wasn't all bad.
Was translating it but this guy's translation is better so yeah this is what it pretty much says.
>5 days a week on Tsukihime
Of course, same kind of presentation will just make the viewer bored, like vol 1 sales is higher than vol 2 sales.
They need to came out with a new atmosphere.
>Although I'm unskilled, I am helping to create a Fate/Stay Night (Ufo Version) that will be suitable for the tenth anniversary.
Anime original confirmed!
Spring 2015 by SHAFT.
First volumes of most anime sell more than the second, dumbass.
Yeah of course, what you want to implying?
Extra Rin a shit. F/SN Rin is a different Rin.
She's basically entirely the same; aside from blond hair, ability to use computer, and slightly bigger measurements.
Although she is literally a different person, which is why the whole "Basically the same" thing is odd. Extra Rin is related to other Rin though.
When does Kagetsu Tohya take place?
She's not really the same at all. She's way less humble.
Unless Tainaka switched to Sony Music Entertainment for her label, she doesn't have a chance if this is also under Aniplex.
Here's to hoping this means no more retarded sub-plots about shitty kings claiming their form of shitty kingship was less shitty than another form of shitty kingship.
She did grow up dessert punk without meeting anyone her own age until the Grail War. It was just moving from one battlefield to the next as a terrorist. Matters of love or peace were never really a thing to her before that point; you do find out a bit about her personal life if you ask the right questions right before killing her.
I'm not seeing the far less humble thing you're apparently seeing here as she is in terms of personality still rather the same, but it's easy to remember that both girls do have slightly different backgrounds. Still even with her personality issues she does save your ass a few times as a coincidence at first, and later on because her servant is dead and she needs you to win. However the Sixth week when you're forced to fight her shows some real examples of her softness.
She's different though. Bigger ego, less issues, more hung up on money etc.
They're the same on the surface, like Shinji is. But underneath they're pretty different, with different motivations, goals and relationships to other people.
I'd also say she's a got a bit bigger ego, since no Kotomine was around to keep her down.
>slightly bigger measurements
I think the artist has a thing for putting big boobs on flattish women.
>99.5% translated, script 74.4% validated, third partial patch released
So close yet so far
It's not too much of a measurement difference anyway
B77/W57/H80 (Fate/Stay Night)
You serious? Who compares as an anime composer other Joe Hisashi and Yoko Kanno? .Hack, Noir, Madoka, Kara no Kyoukai. Kaijura is damn consistent.
In the spring. Tsukihime takes place at the end of fall, F/SN takes place in the winter of Tsukihime's end.
So about after the end of Fate/Stay Night.
The following summer, Melty Blood and Hollow Ataraxia occur.
Most likely the year 2004, Nasu has zig-zagged several times.
TRANSLATIONS OF TYPE-MOON ACE 9 WHEN
I guess I should go visit beast lair or something really.
Hoping for translations on /a/ is like hoping for rain in a desert. Not impossible, but you have to be there at the right time and it all comes in one huge wave.
I've heard that the sex scenes were purposely translated silly because the translators didn't like them. I wonder if that's true.
Translated half-assedly, more rather.
She is exactly as she would be if not rabu-rabu with Shirou.
Rin is a bitch lika that.
Or that it isn't a fujoshi pandering show
>m-m-muh grimdark and edgy atmosphere!
Because is superior and make stay/night looks shit?
>Implying that Madoka, Saya no Uta didn't exist
Do people even recognize the existance of Nasu's new work called DDD?
I've read that the scenes were written silly on purpose
I don't think even Nasu remembers it 90% of the time.
>not just visiting the translation team's website directly
Yep. it's fine
It isn't fully translated and Nasu forgot about it so people don't talk about it.
>FHA getting a full voice over
>we get to hear Saber going PTSD over octopus
>we get to hear Rider soliciting Shirou for favours flat out in front of Sakura
>we get to hear Caster in full moe moe waifu mode
only anime fag ?
>Nasu forgot about it
Let me ask something that interests me personally, how about 「DDD」...
Uuugh (sweat)... I would like to sincerely thank the readers who have waited patiently. I can already see the ending for that, after I finish 「Mahoyo」...
is nasu a guy, a homo or a gril?
>after I finish mahoyo
DDD was just a way to kill time, he doesn't care much about it
Mushrooms are above petty concepts of gender.
Haven't people met him/her in real life already?
Why would you make this an anime original? Why must we, Heaven's Feel faggots, suffer immensely?
You already fucked us over by making Sakura a heroine, what more do you want? Nasu, you fuck.
She was the heroine of CCC.
The same as Urobuchi do original anime to kill time, the real masterpiece will be his visual novel after he finish all anime stuff.
That wasn't our Sakura, but another Sakura.
Sakura shouldn've been a heroine of HF, since she's a shit.
Ilya is where it is at.
>That wasn't our Sakura
you're right she was better than "your sakura"
Your crime is being HF faggots. Five years in the isocubes, creep.
Because she was Beato without the genderdrama. Of course she'll be superior to the majority of the boring Fate women.
>Why must we, Heaven's Feel faggots, suffer immensely?
Because you people are the most autistic part of the Type-Moon fanbase.
Nobody talked about anime original, Nasu there is just saying a summarized version of what we know and talking about Dark Souls 2.
No, those are Saberfags who think they're knights of the Round Table and dream of her waiting of them in Avalon.
