8/10 so far
6/10 so far, 5 is mostly because of the music, 1 is for the last meh entertaining episode.
The show is a 6/10 with 10/10 animation and music.
I'm not going to rate a show well just because it has good animation and music. That's shallow.
I couldn't agree more.
Animation is the most important part of anime though. You shouldn't praise a show that isn't visually creative just because you like the script because you're rating a work by standards that don't even apply to the right medium.
Something like LoGH is a 6/10, Dandy deserves much more.
>Animation is the most important part of anime though.
8.5/10 for me.
If they tie all the storylines/universes together 10/10
>story isn't the most important part of books
>gameplay isn't the most important part of video games
Being mentally retarded must be hard on you.
Probably going to end up being 7/10 at the end. Episode 4 was strong, but I don't see them stepping up to the plate like that too often.
Still the best OP/ED of the season, though.
>Implying those are the same comparisons
KMB was hilarious without animation.
>implying they're not
I'm not saying a show can't be good without amazing animation, but you can't say "Anime X is one of the greatest of all time" if X doesn't have good animation.
7/10 in my books. You should account for all aspects of an anime in your ratings. In the end, anime mostly exists to entertain you, and sometimes to teach or inspire you. You should rate an anime on how well it succeeds at this goal, regardless of how it's handled.
Well not really because I'm not stupid enough to rate an anime before it's finished airing.
>you can't say "Anime X is one of the greatest of all time" if X doesn't have good animation
>implying they're not
They're not. You're retarded for thinking so.
A more valid comparison would be that the art isn't the most important part of video games. It can shine through the gameplay, the same way that an anime can shine through with it's story.
The animation makes things better, but you're a fool if you think it's the main focus of anime, and what makes an anime good especially with the budgets that most shows get.
Good animation can't save a shitty story.
Not that I mean SD is shit or anything, it's just a general rule.
Walt Disney said so, do you think you know better than old Walt?
Hah! It's 5 or 6 at best. You're either completely new or letting your Watanabe fanboyism cloud your judgement.
episode 1 - shit and a waste of time
2 - still terrible
3 - mildly amusing but still bad
4 - Very bad execution. See Shaun of the dead for it done right.
The animation is not 10/10
>Something like LoGH is a 6/10
Dude, no. A score should be all encompassing, not weighted by a single attribute.
The show is average, so not bad but the opening is seriously fabulous and I generally don't like this kind of music.
You are still trying to hard
I think the show is an 8/10. Every episode so far has improved
