>[HorribleSubs] Nagi no Asukara - 17 [720p].mkv
I hate torrents so much
A picture is worth a thousand words.
I hate ur mum
I liked Miuna better when she was a kuudere.
Also her voice is annoying.
I'll like her better when if goes yandere.
>can't into NTR
If anyone is going Yandere, it's Kaname.
FUCK YOU HIKARI
Judging by the PV I guess either that Shioshishio is not the Shioshishio or has changed heavily. Looks like they are traversing ruins to be honest.
>*2,914 *5 Nagi no Asukara [DVD+BD]: 2013/12/20
>Shioshishio is not the Shioshishio or has changed heavily
>or has changed heavily
You don't say.
He really doesn't know when its a lost battle, does he.
I really don't get the Manaka-Hikari-Miuna triangle. Its hard to get a read on it. Miuna will probably lose though, shes trying to hard.
>Still no doujins of Hikari drinking Miuna's milk
He's partially justified to thing like that though. The burden is on Miuna if she wants him to see her as a woman.
>Manaka shows back up
>she's smoking and tattooed up with fishscales
>bearing Lord Uroko-sama's progeny in her womb
Miuna turns out to be Okada's self-insert into the fairy tale that wins the hikari
And since you always bet on brown man for the NTR he ends up banging Chii-chan sideways.
Miuna's too passive though.
until this episode of course
He's just staying honest till the end, even if it won't lead to anything.
We'll have to see. She may become more active but thus far she has been too passive to change anyones opinion. Bless her heart for trying though.
>shes trying to hard.
I get the feeling she's not trying where it matters. She needs to change the way he looks at her, not make him think she's a nice girl.
Letting the hair loose will probably play a big role in this change of attitude she needs.
For a moment I thought Sayu was into Miuna. But then I remembered Kaname existed.
That line was priceless. God bless Kaname and his lack of tact when it comes to Chisaki.
Oh man, Kaname's smooth as ever.
That was incredibly fluid. I'll give NnA this as well, there hasn't been an incredible run of QUALITY
She is trying too hard where it doesn't matter as much. I agree. She's too selfless in regards to her relation to Hikari while not doing anything to increase his love points to her (which is pretty much 0) and while admirable, it doesn't help her chances at all.
Next episode better be some real suffering or I'm dropping this shit.
Only to be back next week
Does he even lift?
Not for the past 5 years at least.
I miss Hikari's smug face and asshole attitude.
Poor Kaname. He'll have Chisaki and Tsumugu confess to fuck already. Jesus.
Psycho bro gets shit done.
what a cute girl
I don't know why but that depresses me
Miuna x sea god Otp
She has a special connection, fags. It's over.
I was happy at first about post-timeskip Miuna and Sayu, but they're beginning to grate on me.
Also, best couple. Lack of Chisaki since the timeskip makes me sad. Her time better come soon.
Houses of wives.
Sasuga Kaname, breaking down that Sayu.
So fucking CUTE.
Sea god moving on to the new hotness. Manaka is used goods now.
This show should have gotten an enka ED
Miracle of the universe.
Kaname is a godtier bro. Tsumugu is too. Hikari matured and became one in the first cour. They all deserve happy endings.
I hope Sayu heals Kaname's heart, but I don't think Chisaki should end up with him. She and Tsumugu are like married.
The OST's been really good this episode. Any info on when's the full thing coming out?
I really don't miss the attitude. I used to hate Hikari during the first few episodes.
SUCK IT MIUNA
They are so natural together I really like them.
>dat bottom left
Bottom looks like Asuka vs Rei.
Speechless sayu is best sayu
Please let the Sayu win.
I really want to wait for Underwater but it's getting harder each week to not get HS first then get Underwater after it.
What a waste of a post.
Sayu best girl.
I want Chisaki and Tsumugu to fuck already and make brown girl babies.
I was really rooting for Kaname x Chisaki. I agree that all 3 males are great though.
You're stronger than me. I started doing that after the week break.
That look of resignation.
It's time to move on Kaname.
Sayu will win because she tried to change.
I can't wait for kaname to suffer
I was rooting too but I think Chisaki and Tsumugu are perfect now. Sayu and Kaname have potential after this episode. Specially when he's childishly trying to not change and she's trying to childishly change.
Only this episode have I really considered it, because of Kaname coming back.
I don't know if I can wait for the episode when Manaka comes back.
Chisaki x Kaname was dead the moment he confessed to her. She never ever would have liked him more than a friend, not then and especially not now with her relationship with Tsumugu.
It's sad but Kaname needs to move on. He's hte only character now who I think really needs growth. I think he's got a better chance ended up with Sayu than Hikari does with Miuna.
Fuck these other 6 days.
>mfw the awkwardness between Sayu and Miuna when only Sayu wins the fish
Only one fish can win a doli. Hikari is way too loyal to Manaka at this point.
Tsumugu needs to change too, I think for him the change is to stop running from his feelings and suppressing them for whatever family trauma he has.
Chisaki stayed inland.
Yeah, he does too, he's suppressing a lot.
>fishes are sluts and dolicon
>humans are respectable members of the society and ladies of great virtue
You're both right. Time I moved on as well. Maybe Sayu will grow on me.
So, next episode is where Hikari learns that Manaka will probably never wake up unless he interferes in some way and all the drama starts. I'm feeling bad for Miuna already, specially when she accepted going to Shioshishio when she remembered that Manaka will be there to NTR her. She's being rather immature and obnoxious.
My bet is his dad abused him and he's pissed at his mom for just standing by and letting it happen.
The preview showed literally nothing.
I'm ready for the happening!
Who's a dolicon?
>implying Manaka isn't Sea God now
>humans are respectable members of the society
Nah, I bet it's something like his parents hate the sea and the grandpa for some reason. It seemed like that's partly why Tsumugu came to live with him in the first place, was because the parents didn't care what happened to grandpa. (Though mother cares enough to ask about his well being, so it's probably more the dad's fault)
Watch it twice. This episode is worth it.
I have a boner for Professor Tsumugu. He should wear a labcoat already. Fuck.
>You look well, Chisa--
Sorry, but I laughed.
Secretly rooting for the Kaname x Sayu pairing.
I want Tsumugu to fuck me tenderly.
Doujins with the seagull when?
Should I bother waiting on Underwater. I'm hype
They prioritize KLK
>NagiAsu v1 adds 613 BDs, total 2,914 in wk6
Actually, according to Daiz, Underwater is not THAT involved in Nagi no Asukara (perhaps they only do the encoding?). It appears to be more of a Vivid release.
It would be cool if Xythar shows up and tells us why they've been taking so long lately.
It is happening again.
FUCK damn it Chisaki. He was just about to run after her too.
Is she happy about her ena here? Or is she lusting after Hikari's touch?
She is seen a few scenes later checking her ena out, so I think it's the latter.
It's fine. Their scene later proves Kaname did not forget about her.
This episode turned me into a Sayu fan.
I still hope he loses his Ena and drowns before this show ends.
I think she's happy because now the same as Hikari.
sayu a cutiecute
What does she smell like?
The animation on this scene makes me feel awkward as fuck
I think she's happy because she is now the same as Hikari.
>Not being a fan of racist doli Sayu
These characters need to stop being so scared of change.
Also, I think if Manaka has aged or not when she finally returns will be the tipping point on if Hikari ends up with her. We see that Miuna has a lot of changing to do herself if Hikari will never see her as a love interest.
Highly appropriate group name for this series. Pretty much everyone is in multiple groups so it wouldn't surprise if a large number of vivid members are involved in the release.
>Miuna has ena
Its over isn't it
She's the next sea god slut
does anyone have the shipping image?
idk man, that impact on the sea floor looked pretty hard.
She's grown so well.
It's settled, we need to figure out a way to kill the sea god.
We were theorising her losing her ena next episode in the previous thread. It was hinted 4-5 times.
I promise you, she's not dead.
I'm full Miuna x Hikari ship there is no returning
Can't wait for it to turn out that Manaka hasn't been asleep for that past 5 years, she's Uroko-sama's mind broken cock slave
>your ena is incomplete
>Kaname and I are also going. She will be fine.
There were three things really separating her from Hikari, his feelings for Manaka aside- her age, her relation to him, and the fact that if they were together, he wouldn't be able to live in the sea. She is now down to only one factor.
They're the same age
It seems too perfect for her to end up being the character that's changed the most in the end.
>>Kaname and I are also going. She will be fine.
That was especially strange. How cah she be fine if her ena ceases to function 100m under water?
Imagine the suffering, if she is.
>download for less than 2 minutes
I love them.
It was solved by the timeskip. Hence that she's only down to one factor, being his niece.
If she really is, I'd be so surprised and I will forever praise Okada for actually going there.
looks like she is going in a huge anus.
The racism is bringing this show back to the original reason why Japan disliked it...Korean sympathizing.
The sea people who look, act, and appear to be the same as the land people are a minority that has essentially integrated yet is still ostracized. Just like the minority of Koreans that are in Japan. I'm beginning to think Mari Okada is a Korean sympathizer since her last show, Sakurasou, featured Korean stuff which caused an outrage in Japan.
>That Sayu x Kaname
I want this
>Manaka hasn't been asleep for that past 5 years
I'm putting my chips down on this theory.
Wasn't the Korean "stuff" just Korean food involved?
Why does Japan hate Korea so much?
Japan needs to get over the Korea hate. They're on ones that did all those evil things to the country in the first place!
Uroko will save her with a kiss.
Can you link me the archives?
>She's 5 years older
>Chisaki x Manaka
Why do you hate Jews/BRs/French/Slavs?
It's in the previous thread near the end.
It's a long story.
Japan's nationalism is rising again but they don't like to blame themselves for their country's problems, instead it's all koreans fault.
Are we heron again?
>Why do you hate Jews/BRs/French/Slavs?
Unless they're in MMOs, that is.
I hope for it. So either Hikari will say "fuck this" and move on or I will.
Yes, but they changed it from a traditional Japanese dish to a Korean one. That got the Japs incredibly mad. Once again, it was a Mari Okada show.
>>She's 5 years older
Manaka x Tsumugu
Man i hope Sayu or Miuna win Preferably both
I think Hikari will reunion with Manaka in the next episode's cliffhanger and it'll be the moment when Miuna abandons Hikari's ship. Or dies because her ena goes to hell
This. I don't think we've seen the end of Manaka's and Tsumugu's romantic conflict . I honestly have no clue how it's all going to end though.
Best girl never wins. Especially when there are two best girls with separate interests.
>swimming in boots
God that shit was golden. But unlike Ohana Sayu is pure and wouldn't go for just a random bird.
They all have the same casual cloths anyways.
I don't really see Miuna dying so soon.
I personally feel if Manaka is back by the end of next episode she won't win, would feel a touch too early.
Would still give Hikari ample time to realise Miuna is clearly the better girl.
They are kept pretty much dry thanks to the enna. What's your problem?
Why do you think the cloths of all the girls aren't see-through all the time?
>I don't think we've seen the end of Manaka's and Tsumugu's romantic conflict
We didn't see the end of her conversation with him in the boat. When she called him her sun? That was their resolution, we just didn't see it. But I think Manaka figured out she wasn't in love with him.
I think most people do, hard to see Manaka being the only one left out (Would fucking love it though).
Sayu is pure! She was willing to be an old maid alone forever, over her love for Kaname.
>not swimming in boots
What a shame.
>Manaka never wakes up
>Hikari mans the fuck up and goes for the best end with Miuna
Who am I kidding? Shit's going down once more that much is certain. The only question is when.
>You will never find love
Something big will probably happen at the end of next week's episode. They're finally able to get close to the town. I'm sure Uroko-sama will appear.
>Miuna swims off to go sightseeing
>Brings her to Hikari/Kaname
>Hikari openly displaying love
>A sudden current comes in
>Sea god takes Miuna for his own, sends the other three back to the surface
It's going to happen.
She's a slut though
>muh Hikari's D
>oh wait he has Manaka
>muh Psycho-kun's D
>oh wait he's dead
>muh Tsumugu's D
Now we're talking
Not dying, but she'll definitely have an ena malfunction.
Kaname and Sayu will be the only couple in the end. Healthy kids and all.
Chisaki and Tsumugu will be divorced/separated, maybe with childrens.
Hikari will leave forever.
Miuna will be alone at the time the show ends.
Miunafags getting BLOWN THE FUCK OUT
Nothing at all to do with it being dry, they're still heavy and not suited to swimming. They should have special shoes that have attachable flippers IMO.
>Sea god takes Miuna for his own, sends the other three back to the surface
Oh no he won't. He fucking won't. He won't right? ;_;
I hope he does.
Which NnA girl is /sp/'s choice? Is it Chisaki?
I don't know about that. Manaka goes "You're like the sun, so warm and doki doki" with teary eyes, remembering how she used to look up to the sun from the sea as a kid. Then she says "But..." and extends her hand in his direction. Then cut to the OP and episode title which is "Fingertips that don't reach". Doesn't sound conclusive to me.
>Miuna loses her ena
>Saved by Hikari
>He begins to realise his feelings towards her
You know its coming all before Manaka returns to win at the last second
Oh yeah, this much I agree.
>Implying that wasn't setting up for Hikari to get over Manaka when she's changed
That'd be the most ASSHOLE way of doing this shit. So that's exactly how it's gonna be right?
Your opinions is as dumb as a nigga book.
If they needed flippers they would have them. They seem to be swimming perfectly fine with their human-like bodies. It's natural for them, why mess with that? Jesus.
I bet you are American. Only an American would try to beat to death someone with his stupid American ideals.
But we did:
"MUH SUN." after that Manaka promised HIKARI she was going to tell him what she felt, Miunafag.
It's happening anon.
You saw how eager Miuna was to get into the sea people village.
Now she can trade places with Manaka and live underwater.
I'm just watching HS as it airs and downloading Underwater to rewatch the week before the final episode.
The next episode is simple titled "Shioshishio" so if the majority of the episode is centered there we should see some pretty rapid plot progression.
It's funny how the Japs like to tease Gooks about their slanty eyes, yet they are basically the same.
Yeah she's a solid 7/10
Was Hikari refering to Miuna when he said "I wanted to show her our village" or somethign like that
>implying thats not a flag
>Miuna will replace herself with Manaka and become the new Sea God wife, so Manaka can be free and Hikari happy with her
>Manaka won't choose Hikari anyway
1. Young Chisaki
2. Current Miuna
3. Young Miuna
>muh Psycho-kun's D
She never went through that phase.
Their village was destroyed or some shit. Maybe because of the big storm or it just did. Did you not understood that?
Fuck off /sp/
Have always wondered, but been too scared to ask, what does that kind of bear image mean?
>implying it wasn't a flag
>calls opinions dumb
>humours them and elaborates on them anyway
As silly as my half serious post was you've outdone it with aplomb my friend, such seriousness too.
Not sure what my nationality has to do with anything either.
It had something to do with some meme about the Chicago Bears winning the Super Bowl.
>I was only pretending. I wasn't really seriously! It was just a joke!
That's a nice chip you're carrying on your shoulder there buddy.
Can spot a Euroturd inferiority complex a mile away.
>yfw da bears win da superb owl
Another one of our epic memes we imported from /sp/.
>tfw Miuna wins
I see. Thanks.
>tfw Miuna doesn't win
No qt Manaka saying "Wakanai" sucks
>All this talk of Miuna potentially not making it back
LALALA I CAN'T FUCK YOU FUCKERS.
The possibility is way too real holy shit. I don't know if I can take it waiting for next thursday.
Hm, how many days did the first cour last? Was it something like a month, no?
>mfw Hikari hooks up with Tsumugu instead
It's riot time and this time Mari Okada won't get any mercy.

>Doing what makes Hikari happy

>immature and obnoxious
It's like you want me to reach through my monitor and smack the fuck out of you.
Where does older Chisaki stand in the rankings? I like her depressed and thicker new self.
The bear picture generally works with KanaHana girls, which doesn't really apply for this show since the KanaHana character is frozen solid with a solid chance of coming back and winning it all. If I could be on it, I would bet on Manaka going all the way.
Honestly, I can't help but think this will be of great importance later in the season.
Smoothest motherfucker I know.
Anyone feels that this whole Tsumugu/Chisaki relationship is just misunderstandings and that it won't develop into anything?
Awesome episode, but the problem is that I HAVE TO WAIT ANOTHER WEEK.
Did someone gif that Sayu and Kaname enconter?
>this delicious single frame animation
I could almost taste the budget.
Talking about the devil.
Wellp, they broke the chain. No fucking crying. I don't know what I'm gonna do with myself
PA Works don't give a fuck about sales.
Alright I dropped this show at the first episode but that still leaves me with a question.
Did the childhood friends hook up at the first episode? The guy was super protective of the girl and I just want to know if they had any relationship snuggles or some shit like that.
>pour all that budget on their first real meeting
>she still won't win
I don't know, it's tricky.
Chisaki blushes while talking to literally any man in the show.
Tsumugu's feelings towards Chisaki can be described as close friend too.
>inb4 Holocaust: 11's strike back
Watch it and find out
>dropping at first episode
go away chen
sorry I don't like NTR or love triangles
He developed into a more normal person and the girl is now lying at the bottom of the sea/is sea god's sex slave.
God, I hope Sayu wins so bad.
Fairly basic CGI.
Based P.A, awesome scene.
He stopped being such a cunt and the girl is in either two of those possible scenarios.
What does that have to do with Hikari wanting to show her where he grew up? Does seem like a bit of a flag but as a Miunafag my expectations are very low at this point.
>Desperate strawman towin petty nationalistic dick measuring "dispute".
I really hope you're not an Aussie, mate.
>Hikari joins the class
>all girls talk about how cool Tsumugu-senpai was last year
>Kaname's not even in the class
>all girls talk about him
And people think Hikari attracted girls easily.
Chisaki jumped as if she was burned when she bumped her elbow with Tsumugu during that shopping trip.
Dunno, they made a point of showing how "in tune" they are now (whether just from living together or great compatibility I dunno yet) with the whole sugar thing.
fuck this show
If it's destroyed he can't show it.
>stepford smile psycho
>cooler than an actual cool guy
Girls are so fucking stupid.
I'll do you a favour then and advice you to steer clear.
Does that make Miuna a hipster?
The show is now lead by former lolis after the timeskip anyway.
Yes, hence the "I wanted to show her my village".
Not sure what your point is.
Hence why I dropped this episode 1, I knew it was going to be sad. I like happy anime, and vanilla shit.
How long until Kaname tells Chisaki and Tsumugu to so stop beating around the bush and fuck already?
>You are such a dear family member of mine. I wanted to show you where I grew up, especially since it's such a mysterious place in the world, but it's now in ruins.
God shipfags are so delusional, you can't see more far than your noses.
She should just wear a bikini
He still sees Chisaki being hung up about Hikari but has noticed she probably likes Tsumugu in some way
OH GOD THAT'S SO WRONG
She should just wear her ena.
>Has Ena now
>Doesn't crack after a few hours
Mary sueing it up I see.
>Kaname is the only person she calls by name
>You can always consider me Chisaki
>I like older women Chisaki
>Please notice me Chisaki
>How did you know he needed sugar Chisaki
I just noticed she's talking about Chisaki
It could be just interpreted as "They are like brother and sister now"
She's too fat to wear a bikini, she's being modest and knows her place. That's a good trait, too many fat girls wear bikinis and don't give a fuck about the eyes of everyone around them.
>mfw she highlighted Kaname's name
Just thinking about how she was happily writing all of this down when she was a doli makes me HNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNG
you like see through better?
Those are Hikari and Miuna
Sayu x Kaname
Please don't fuck this up
Definitely not how Kaname interprets it, the boy is destined to suffer.
Regardless, their familiarity will eat away at him, such a jealous little fucker.
Gif of this scene please
Chisaki is still hung up on Hikari
How much family time has Hikari actually spent with her? Does he really consider her a "dear family member"? He's been back for what, a couple weeks at most?
I only ever said it was a possible flag too and like most Miunafags I'm keeping expectations low.
No way. That scene was totally, married couple in the kitchen together.
She isn't fat, she's healthy.
I feel they'll end up ambiguous at most, since he still likes Chisaki but Chisaki is between two dicks at once (his obviously is not counting, poor guy) and probably will take ages to get over it once she picks her only D. Sayu will be waiting for him.
You don't even know fat
This is a strange piece of fan-art.
>brother and sister
Son... If any, the 'brother and sister' archetype in anime would be two people who constantly fight each other or one is overprotective about the other. In this example both Chisaki and Tsumugu understand each other with no words whatsoever and there is even that slight vibe of Chisaki being the mindful wife who is always a step ahead of her husband. Rewatch the scene and come back to discuss.
KanamexChisaki ship sank hard during the ofuneshit.
I'm so glad that even after all these people have picked the show up after the time skip, the general quality of our threads is still high. Now we just get more active discussion instead of 1 thread a week.
People stay on topic and there isn't much shitposting. The fighting over who's best girl not withstanding.
The fuck is going on here.
I meant the picture
Kaname said he'll never change, Sayu talked (realistically I may add) about how she'll probably get over him in time and find a new crush.
It's set up for even MORE Kaname cruelty, just trying to think who Sayu can be with to ensure maximum butthurt.
I guess she could just join Hii-kun's harem.
It's weird how Kaname suffering has become such a big part of the show for me.
>the general quality of our threads is still high
You weren't here for the livewatch thread I see.
>about how she'll probably get over him in time and find a new crush.
Then she went and did exactly the opposite, her feelings for him are pretty strong.
I missed it this week. Last week's live thread was fine though.
I believe the editor has been busy with real life as of late, and usually by the time they finish the TLC is asleep, and so on. I'm okay with the current schedule, personally, as it means I can do a proper round of QC when I get home from work as opposed to just skimming the script from my browser. And I'd rather do a proper job on the release than half-ass it.
And yes, Daiz just encodes Nagi.
Or the professor.
Or themselves (the scene he walked when she's changing).
Alright, thank you so much.
I think I may actually like to see HikarixChisaki now, would come out of nowhere and would cause quite the anal frustration.
You're exaggerating. She was just trying to justify her crush since Kaname didn't recognize her at the same instant he saw her.
>Sayu talked (realistically I may add) about how she'll probably get over him in time and find a new crush.
She was trying to be realsitic but she was trying to lie to herself cause she was hurt Kaname didn't remember her right away. She felt silly over still loving him after 5 years, so she was trying to convince herself it was better to move on and just be okay marrying someone she doesn't really love in the future.
But this series is penned as a "fairy tale" and I do think Sayu has very high changes of having Kaname fall in love with her too.
You can see it on the archive if you want. It was just an endless shameful display of faggotry, though.
Chisaki already chose her dick.
Did you see her going to dangerous waters for Hikari? Not a single fuck was given. She nearly threw herself without hesitation to help Tsumugu 5 years ago.
She probably doesn't realize it, though. Which will take Kaname to point out this shit for MAX SUFFERING.
So what happened to Manaka?
Why is she Sea God's slut? What happened.
Give up. Kaname no longer even acknowledged that as a legitimate ship anymore.
I think she wanted to just try and avoid him and hope the feelings went away.
As much as I think Kaname and Sayu would be pretty cute there is absolutely no substance whatsoever to her feelings and ditto Kaname suddenly falling in love with her (which is what will need to happen) is an unpleasant contrivance imo.
I actually laughed when she was daydreaming about him, her best memory is literally him patting her on the head like a fucking dog and saying "good girl!".
The rest of the shippings at least have some substance to them.
Watch the show.
Yes she was trying to rationalize it but was inadvertently talking about something that would actually be the best thing for her.
Actually just on this, Sayu has no idea he loves Chisaki as far as I know so that could be a turning point.
>The rest of the shippings at least have some substance to them.
Miuna and Hikari is the worst as terms of substance. Hikari always saw Miuna as a family member and made her known this, she took his kindness and warped it the wrong way.
>is absolutely no substance whatsoever to her feelings
Which I think makes their relationship more possbile. They're basicalyl strangers to each other, never go close before the time skip; unlike Hikari and Miuna that did create a family connection between the two.
It'll be interesting to see if we actually get to see their romance on screen, because everything else has been pre-set (chilldgood love) or done off screen (Chisaki x Tsumugu)
>Suddenly falling in love
Or him finally moving on from Chisaki
He might like her but just like Hikari he's blind in love with on person and doesn't even consider feeling towards anyone else
Why are you lecturing me on the legitimacy of ships? I said it's what I'd like to see.
I gave no inclination as to whether I thought it was likely or not.
It's making very obvious Chisaki's no longer "part of that world." Kaname's observing Chisaki with Tsumugu and feeling like a stranger.
A shift from the "we're outsiders" landfag perspective of the group. Even Hikari and Chisaki barely talk and interact. She just left and didn't want to accompany them.
That "good girl" scene was when he confronted her about what she did to the Ojoshi-sama and said he'd never forgive her for hurting Hikari becaause he is a precious friend to him. Sayu fell for him because she shares the same strong friendship feelings for Miuna, it's not absolutely "out of nowhere"
I'm rewatched the damn fucking show, she got frozen just like those two boys did so where does it say "SHE GOT RAPED BY SEA GOD"?
There was a contrast between Hikari and Kaname. Kaname was actually affected and seemed petty on his resolution (like Sayu's childishness about changing). Hikari was resolute and serious.
>But this series is penned as a "fairy tale"
Sorry for the ignorance but this is news to me.
What's been with all the angst so far then?
>or done off screen (Chisaki x Tsumugu)
Did you miss the first cour?
Well it was pretty subtle then, it wasn't an active romance with either party actively pursuing the other.
I wanna see Sayu and Kaname go on a date or hold hands, that kinda stuff.
You may be right, when I said ships though I actually didn't strictly mean romantic ones (should have worded it better) so I'd say they are pretty close already even without romance.
I like Miuna and want her to "win" but I don't think Hikari is going to suddenly see her as a girl either unfortunately, destined to be an imouto.
It's an edgy fairy tale.
I am so ready.
Yep, and that's the difference between the two. Hikari at least has a chance of realising his love but Kaname can never win Chisaki over, he's a very distant third to her.
Good point, I feel like this episode destroyed any chances of MiunaxHikari, it's Manaka or bust for him and it'd be a complete 180 change of character for him to break that resolution now.
What might be interesting though is that next week should at least test it a bit.
The fairy tale part comes with it being a spin on The Little Mermaid trope and obviously the possibility of Hikari needing to come a save Manaka.
But I know on of the tag lines when the series only had a PV was it being an, an oceae love fairy tale or something along those lines.
Ok so he sticks up for his friends in addition to a nice pat on the head.
Definitely worth devoting 5 precious years over.
I, too, would like to see them hold hands.
How old are you?
I liked this scene, it's nice to see them talk a lot and without the girls for once.
Nothing from the PV ever showed up in the series.
Fairy tales can be bittersweet though right? It would seem a bit dissatisfying to me if we got an "everything is roses!' type ending.
From last episodes pv wasn't there a scene with Kaname and Chisaki and she walked away or something
I'm sure that didn't happen
Well, better than half of the class at least who just want his D regardless of how distant he really is.
That's why it's great, though. They were attracted and their lives sort of happened together and skipped all the dumb dating SOL into marriage.
They can be yes. Especially Japanese fairy tales. The show could very well end bittersweet for Hikari and Manaka. (And maybe Miuna too) I can see Chisaki, Tsumugu and probably Sayu and Kanane end up happily out of the group though.
Those scenes with Manaka will happen when she awakes.
Didn't say it wasn't, I totally agree. But if any couple could have on screen development it'll be those two.
Dunno about you but between "hmmm, they might be interested in each other" and "now a married couple" I'd like to see a little of what happened.
Manaka will come back soon, she's the one catching the umbrella in the new OP. Give it 5 episodes, mark my words.
Sadly I agree with the three you've nominated for possible suffering, not too surprising though considering they are arguably the three most important or fleshed out characters.
I feel like the others will take a bit of a spectators role in the last few eps as these three battle it out for sea god slut/Hikari supremacy.
Probably true, don't think the ambiguity is a red herring. We're supposed to think it's Manaka and likely it will be.
I can't believe no one has said anything about this yet. I mean come on.
When do the new OP/EDs come out?
>mfw Miuna wins
>mfw she doesn't
Poor bastard never had a chance after coming back anyway, he can't match up to Tsumugu's rugged fisherman's body.
>the first scene is a train coming out of the tunnel
It is so happening.
Not BRAZZERS enough
Who is it talking during the new opening song? Chisaki?
My heart wont be able to take it
>looks and sees what others are wearing to decide what clothes to buy.
>mimics peers' fashion
>doesn't do his own shit
I really fucking hate this kid. Every time I watch that gif I pray his fucking head rolls off and collides with the floor.
As a delusional Miunafag I've actually tricked myself into believing that she might actually win because Manaka is so far ahead with quite a few episodes remaining.
So the current situation is...
Sayu -> Kaname -> Chisaki -> Tsumugu -> Manaka <- Hikari <- Miuna
If you remove Manaka, you get a perfect matching.
She better never wakes up.
After this week
Sayu > Miuna
>All that OTP of the century
>All that symbolism in the last scene
Tsumugu loves Chisaki.
>Just now I realized that Sayu is Aladdin
>Tsumugu -> anybody
Although I agree with you I think Tsumugu actually loves Chisaki so that should turn out fine once she gets over her Hikari obsession.
>should turn out fine
Yeah yeah, I know...
>Not Chisaki -> Hikari
It feels a bit like a lie, cause it made it seem like Hikari -> Manaka <- Tsumugu would be a bigger thing in the show and Tsumugu hardly did anything in the first cour.
I wouldn't say anything is sure until the very end in regards to pairing. Okada doesn't go the obvious route.
is this saying that miuna will get hit by a train or is the train a miuna shipper?
>Miuna having the conviction to pursue her love and not throw a tantrum, puts her own life at risk to do so
>throwing a tantrum over someone not recognising you after you've grown considerably after 5 years
the train is symbolism for death
more specifically, the death of somebody very close to miuna
The way she moves her fucking hips at 1:20 makes me want to cum so fucking hard. I bet sea sluts can ride some dick like nobody's business.
My fucking dick.
Seriously? I find it so fucking jarring, yeah she's pretty but I see her as a shota still.
Not to say Aladdin isn't a babe in his own right but still.
Akari will die. Her shitty husband will have the blood of 2 sea women on his hands. I don't know how a man who works at a convenience store woos all of these women. He must have a huge dick.
Manaka and Miuna to do some serious bonding.
Kaname x Sayu doujins when
>Implying any Kaname doujins won't be all NTR or yaoi
Shits me too, such a nothing person yet his sea wife was fucking gorgeous and he deflowered Akari's anemone too.
Probably start banging Sayu once Akari dies.
And if the rest of the ocean girls weren't hibernating he'd probably just go out and get another one.
In early-mid Victorian England, the railroad appears in a lot of fiction during the time because its existence was driven by major social change. Aside from their plot devices, themes were present in the literature discussing damaging consequences on the city, ruining the landscape, and it being associated with gluttony, dishonesty, fraud and the Railroad Mania. An example of this is in Elizabeth Gaskell's Cranford, in which the social upheaval is caused by creation of a railroad.
>Sea god goes to take Akari again
>Miuna gives herself up this time
>damaging consequences on the city, ruining the landscape
That's interesting you bring that up, especially with that incomplete birdge we keep seeing in the background that looks like it went through part of Shishisou too under the water.
Tsumugu's face would be even more priceless as he finds them fucking in his house.
not quite this, but this.
Ena, Train, Love for the ocean, Wanting to be a sea person.
I fucking hate this show
>Those disgusting lips
Well, Akari is disgusting enough as she is.
Decide you bunch of cunts
That fits the rest of the themes perfectly, so that might just be the only thing that the trains and the railroad symbolise in this story which is pretty good.
The only reason I tied the train to 'death' so quickly was because of its appearance during the conversation Miuna and Hikari were having about Miuna's mother, because that was the entire character at that point.
I hope it's Itaru. Fucking shit character.
She is best girl and will win
Also she's cutests
The bridge itself, can be actual or abstract. It can be used as a literary device to show the reader there will be some crossing; a journey -- between the earth and the sky or a sentimental link between people. The bridge is also used to depict life and death, usually from suicidal intentions, by jumping off, or hanging from. To digress momentarily from literature to film. It’s insightful to watch how film-makers utilise landscape features, bridges, or lack of a bridge, to convey the story premise or create an atmosphere in a particular scene. With the written word, describing a bridge and its role in the story, or placing it within the character’s life creates dramatic tension.
>Hikari takes Akari up on her incest joke
>Miunas ftw Hikari becomes her dad
BD sales skyrocket.
I want me a Miuna, or at least a Chisaki.
>utilise landscape features, bridges, or lack of a bridge,
Guess if the bridge ever gets to be completed, it'll mean the sea and the land will finally come together and stop hating one another.
"I do know some things, I know I love you, I know you love me...I have to go home now..."
Hikari confirmed for going home and leaving Miuna behind on the surface
It's gonna be the ending of Turn A Gundam all over again.
Hikari will marry Uroko?
>Sayu has no idea he loves Chisaki
I think she has some kind of idea since he didn't even notice she painted some shit in blue but went to search for Chisaki instead.
Miuna will sacrifice herself to save eveyone else / make them happy.
"suicidal intentions" although this could have already been implemented during the scene where Manaka smashed into the see floor with the force of 1000 autists.
anyone making gifs?
I do very much like Kaname and Sayu together after this episode. Not like he getting da Chisaki anyway.
You'll make Miunafags suicide, man.
I'm so glad I love this show and love all the characters the same. I'll be happy no matter who ends up with who.
Just at long as the ending isn't like, shit overall.
Chisaki and Miuna->Hikari->Manaka->Tsumugu->Chisaki<-Kaname<-Sayu
I know you all have your favourite pairings.
But which pairing do you dislike the most?
Manaka x anyone
I feel completely the same. I got so emotionally attached to everyone. I'll probably cry if someone actually dies. I'm not rooting for any particular couple as I don't hate anyone, so as long as characters are happy, it's fine with me. I don't remember the last time I felt this way about any show that came out in the last few years.
Manaka x Tsumugu
This >>101217332 Terrible pairing I hated from the start.
This episode made me want to hug Kaname. That sight in the kitchen must have been terrible.
Also, did anyone notice something off with how Miuna was the only one who heard the sand flowing? I'm starting to believe /a/'s theories about her becoming the next bride, she's growing her hair like Manaka, suddenly has ena, and now the sea gd is luring her with that sound.
Same here anons, Even Sayu is growing on me.
Sad thing is, I am a Miunafag.
Nah, it's more like
Sayu -> Kaname -> Chisaki <-> Tsumugu <-? Manaka ?-> <- Hikari <- Miuna
Manaka is the most difficult person to figure out as she is constantly confused about her feelings.
>Also, did anyone notice something off with how Miuna was the only one who heard the sand flowing?
I had other thoughts in my mind at the time, for instance
>HOW THE FUCK DOES THAT SOUND ANYTHING LIKE FLOWING SAND? WHAT THE SHIT MAN?
If anything it sounds like creaking ice.
Chisaki's hard to figure out too. I think she still likes Hikari somewhat.
Yeah, that too was weird, maybe that's a sea person thing.
Chisaki still has feelings for Hikari, not sure if they're intense as before but they're here. I'm not a Hikari/Chisaki shipper since this ship is dead as fuck, I am being realistic.
What happens when Manaka gets out and sees Chisaki with Tsumugu?
Kimi ga Nozomu Eien?
I think she got over him before the timeskip. Not sure though.
I think she was planning to answer Hikari's feelings seriously, but there was the incident.
Sayu x Kamome
This whole situation hinges on what ever the fuck she was gonna say to Hikari.
WHY DIDN'T SHE SAY IT BACK THEN!!
Miuna x best and most handsome dude.
Didn't Uroko mention that Hikari and Akari were special children or something like that?
It's the episode when they were leaving the village.
That's not how you spell my name.
I sort of want this to happen but I want her to be happy about it.
What if Miuna had Ena because her mom really got raped by one of the sea people and she is a product of that rape
>everything was always rape
ManakaxFaceless old men
ManakaxFaceless old seamen
Either of these are perfect.
Manaka needs to be strapped down to a chair naked and have milk forced into her rectum and plugged to keep it from spilling out and then get a drildo and hitachi wand introduced to her pussy whilst her nips are being vibed until she has a massive enough orgasm to shoot the butt plug and all of the milk out of her ass.
Why is everything in the town so neglected?
Everything looks worn out and rusty, even before the timeskip.
This trailer makes it like Tsumugu, Hikari and Manaka will have an intense love triangle yet Tsumugu was only a tool for Manaka's development.
Or he really like his japanese porn.
[NHDT-551] 浣腸麻薬 ～2穴噴水アクメ～ ひなの - http://xhamster.com/movies/396654/japanese_girl_getting_and_squirting_enemas.html
I am NOT watching this
They live right next to the fucking sea.
Dem salty corroding winds.
It's part of the aesthetic.
Of course you won't.
She is enjoying every second of it
And god is it hot.
well they don't live in fucking eastern europe, they can at least do some renovations and new paint job now and then
I also live right next to the sea and shit is as rusty as in NnS.
You're right, they don't live in eastern Europe.
They live in Japan. A PLACE SURROUNDED BY SALTY WINDS.
>yfw that is a new paint job done during time skip.
It's a sleepy seaside town that doesn't look like it gets much visitors with the decrepit harbors and all. Their main source of livelihood seems to be small-scale fishing which isn't enough to raise money for a town makeover.
I will ship Hikari x Manaka to the very end.
Don't worry KanaHana will win.
Reminder that her wings are just decoration and not part of her.
I hardly even remember what she's like.
no wonder, she is a generic moeblob
I'm with you brother.
>Bringing a bag while swimming
I actually sort of miss Manaka, I wasn't her biggest fan during the first cour but eh, I do sort of like her in hindsight.
You're on the winning ship. Must be nice.
Never leave the house without bento, nigger
Why is she wearing those boots? Weren't they supposed to be her best shoes?
It's Ena I ain't gotta explain shit.
Epic subs, man.
This show is so much better when Manaka is not in it.
My favorite character is Hikari but I miss Manaka a lot. She did so much for him and his development and he's willing to do anything to see her again. Hikari kept seeing how much she changed and was fully accepting it.
Who 'Lost all hope for Miuna ship' here?
It really means a lot to me, man.
>Implying your favorite girl isn't one.
This. If it weren't for her, we'd be stuck with the same angst-ridden landfag hating punk from episodes 1-3.
Why didn't they just use a submarine to get into Shiosishio?
>This is my girlfriend, Hidaira Chisaki.
>Starting today, I am Tsumugu's girlfriend, Chisaki.
>Pleased to meet you!
Currents too strong
Why don't they just build a bigger submarine?
It was a link, Tsumugu being that sort of push for Manaka, and Manaka giving the final push for Hikari.
Now that Manaka and Hikari are the most "complete" characters, I hope the other three (Tsumugu, Kaname and Chisaki) can get fleshed properly.
Why didn't they just block the current?
eyes aren't dead enough
Why didn't they just reverse the current?
Hopes are dashed, all I'm gonna do is just watch the rest of the series and enjoy it. Easier not to be sad when you have no expectations!
>this whole episode
Is Sayama Akira from the future or did he abuse his authority at Sayamart to knock up Akari and made Itaru take responsibility?
>hurr change change change
getting bored of this shit show, should have dropped it ages ago
Not fucking ready for any kind of stuff like that.
I swear to sea god if I hear the word change one more time...
You talking about this guy? I thought he looked quite like Akira too.
Sorry it's the main theme of the show. You've already stuck it out this long.
>It's the theme so the have to say change every third scene
Honest question. What were you trying to get out this show?
>yfw the real change is with all the miunafags tearfully accepting the ending where she loses
I like how underwater isn't dark as fuck in this shit
The Ideal ending
>Seagod tries to take Muina
>Hikari garbs her
>"Stop, please! I... I lover her!"
>Muina becomes new sea goddess and makes Hikari her king
It was pretty heavy handed this week, I admit.
>>"Stop, please! I... I lover her!"
No anon, that's the autism ending.
Too late now faggot, should have dropped it back in episode 3 or 4 when the theme was obviously being shoved in your face.
Dolis fucking ruined the show with their puberty love bullshit.
The seafags were good friends and had feelings for each other, but these bitches aren't friends with anyone except with each other. And even then they keep bitching at each other.
>Implying this will happen
Face it, Manaka is going to win and all she has to do is wake up. Be it episode 18 or 26. Manaka is 100% winning now no matter what Miuna does.
>"Stop, please! I... I lover her!"
Yes, that should go swimmingly in a show with so much unrequited love.
Oi m8 say that shit irl and see what comes about
Why is that we always theorize to make her into a sea god slut.
Remember when she had no Ena?
We said that she's gonna be the one because it has to be a landfag girl.
And now we are turning the speculah all around, just to place her in the same role.
Yeah, I know, we're still gonna be right.
Don't bully the dolis
>Miunafags watching Manaka wake up.gif
Everyone knows she will wake up, the problem is that she will fuck over the perfect 2nd cour couples, hard.
Exactly. For Miunafags its like the coming of the apocalypse.
The funniest part is that EVERYONE hides behind the shitty chair instead of turning over the desk or something.
Can't really think straight when you think that a Meteor just hit downtown Madrid.
If Miuna gets NTR'd hard, this will inevitably affect Sayu, who will feel guilty about still trying to get Kaname while Miuna is suffering.
There's also the whole Chisaki/Tsumugu/Manaka/Hikari which will go into full drama mode and the possibility that Hikari reverts to being overprotective.
No one wins if Manaka wakes up exactly the same.
>Manaka wakes up
>"Hey Manaka, before this whole fiasco happened, you wanted to tell me something...
>"Sorry Hii-kun, I forgot what it was.."
>"Anyways, Hii-kun, where is Tsumugu?"
>he is fucking chisaki
>suck it bitch
This would be glorious
If Miuna is getting NTR'd I don't think it'll be towards the very end and by then I'd hope Sayu and Kaname will already be together. So that'll be irrelevant to them.
Someone posted Buriki's designs for the girls yesterday, there is any of the guys?
I'm also awaiting this one.
Where's the BRAZZERS edit?
Make your may-may pics yourself.
On funnyjunk, probably.
Here is Buriki Hikari
Can you repost the girls? I missed them
I think Sayu would be affected yes, but she sure as hell won't give up on Kaname. Even so she would probably be hooked up already.
But there are so many strings that are all connected to Manaka.
What was her wish to the Sea Slug?
Is she sleeping or is she really acting as the wife of Sea God? Or rather might she possibly have become a Sea Goddess?
Why is there an obvious lack of any official art of an awaken Manaka post-Time Skip?
Well regardless, the only way to have a total happy ending would be for Hikari to give up on Manaka, which won't happen, Miuna to get her fish and Manaka to keep a status of Sea God Waifu or Sea Goddess. All of which more than likely won't happen. What probably will is that Manaka wakes up, Hikari hooks up with her and Miuna gets shafted to Sea Waifu or Minegishi's waifu, neither of which would constitute what would really make her happy considering what she had said this episode during her argument with Sayu.
In the end though the central theme is change, and take that as you will.
>see my neck and its three lengths!
Shit, forgot picture, fuck captcha.
Sure, no problem
>In the end though the central theme is change, and take that as you will.
The problem with this theme is that for Hikari, managing to give up on Manaka after all those years is change, she's basically a little sister for him, and hooking up with Miuna would be change.
However, for Miuna, to give up on Hikari and her childhood crush would be change in itself.
This whole thing is just fucked up.
The face of a ice cold killer
I desire future analysis from you in the coming episodes anon.
Too robotic and not brown enough.
Will anyone protect Kaname's smile? Anyone??
Sayu, with her vagina and DFC, shame Kaname likes them older.
As an anon said, the relationships in this show is a device rather than the plot.
The Chisaki - Tsumugu and Kaname - Sayu pairings are pretty much inevitable. Its just sadly the Hikari pairing that is so volatile that you cannot really predict it. Its easy to say Hikari will end up with Manaka/Miuna because both have individual factors that go for it, more so Manaka than Miuna.
What Kaname said is pretty much prophetic, in that Manaka is a wild card that can throw everything into a mess.
I wonder how many disgusting people drink their wife/girlfriend's milk after she gives birth? Don't get me wrong, I would totally do it because I'm curious...but I'd feel disgusted with myself afterward.
Well you're taking the series "change" to only mean, getting over people/giving up on helpless love. Which really only stands true to I think Kaname. Chisaki was never really in love with Hikari, and Manaka was never really in love with Tsumugu.
It's all different types of changes "people" go through as they grow up, I think for Hikari, his change is him finding strength in himself and become more set and strong to follow through with his feelings/beliefs. So I can't see Hikari, not as we see him now, ever giving up on Manaka.
Only Tsumugu looks like Kodaka. far more than Kaname who is blonde.
Well, the only way to know is to watch till the end huh
