Ogiso or Touma?
Touma, it's not even a contest.
I like a lot both, but I think Kazusa has a better personality.
Who would honestly pick Setsuna? She's a borderline physcopath!
Setsuna is a fucking cunt.
Anyone that likes her is brain damaged or didn't play the visual novels.
Dear god she's such a fucking awful person.
Slut and homewrecker
Touma. Are there really people who prefer Setsuna?
Touma. What kind of a question is this?
I want to masturbate to Touma.
I just finished this like an hour ago.
So, he chooses Kazusa and she still leaves even though the reason she left was because he didn't choose her? And then Setsuna still wants to be with Haruki? I feel bad for her. Was this the neutral ending from the game? Is there hope for a happier ending (for Touma) if I play it?
>she still leaves even though the reason she left was because he didn't choose her?
Her mother has cancer, she also wants to be with her mother. And she wants to play music.
They reunite later and he ditches slutsuna even though they're engaged.
There are 3 games, the first has no routes and is essentially the anime.
In the second game you focus on MCs character development and he mends his relationship with setsuna after them being on bad terms for years.
In the third game there are 3 routes. 2 touma routes and a setsuna route.
2 extra routes and one true ending, the true ending is one of the touma ending where he leaves japan and spends his life with touma.
Setsuna is an absolutely awful person in the light novel even though everyone loves her ingame.
Touma in one route asks setsuna: "‘Why do you take all the happiness? You have family. You have Haruki. You have everything. You’re a perfectly-functioning individual, I can’t even care for myself. Why?’" which really puts into perspective how awful setsuna is. Touma's mother is dying of cancer and all she has in her life is music.
Kazusa leaving makes sense, if you think about what her strengths are and how she has been living. She might not want to go to Europe, but that's the place where she needs to be right now to continue developing professionally, as well as to be part of a family again.
In Part 2 (closing chapter (CC) + coda), Kazusa's happy end is generally accepted by fans is accepted as the one true ending. It's also likely that S2 will go down that path, too.
I meant visual novel
>is generally accepted
Considering the name of her ending themeClosing in her true ending and considering that she has 2 routes, Touma true end is definitely the true ending.
I wasn't around in the threads while it aired, glad to see /a/ agrees on best girl.
Does the best girl win in this?
Everyone saying it's was a good show.
Nobody wins in the anime. If we get a second season best girl should win unless they adapt the worst route.
The best girl is the blue haired girl? She looks kawaii
Brown hair is a manipulative bitch that will steal from those that have nothing. Blue hair is best girl by a landslide.
You would need the worst kind of taste to prefer brown hair over blue hair.
Ah I only ever saw the anime version and I don't think they mentioned cancer. At least if they did I missed it somehow.
They didn't mention it, MC doesn't find out until towards the end of the final game.
>anime-only fag, correct me please if you wish
I get why people don't like Setsuna, and maybe i'm biased in this one, but i think Setsuna did nothing wrong at all.
Setsuna didn't really have any friends to begin with, and she felt in love with Haruki. It's only natural that she was gonna chase after him, since he was the only person she actually felt confortable with. Later she found out that there was some fishy tsundere-ish relationship between Haruki and Touma. They weren't making progress at all for god knows how long. He chased after her and she rejected him, in my point of view Touma didnt even deserve him. Setsuna just confessed to him and he accepted. Why did he accept? "To not hurt her feelings", god, her feelings were fucking destroyed by his actions.
Setsuna was the one in the right, she seized a boy with no girlfriend, who accepted her confession. Nothing wrong with that.
The one we should blame is Haruki.
It's just a realistic show about adolescent love.
I know I acted like Haruki when I first started dating. I would go mess around with other girls even though I had a girlfriend.
Luckily I grew out of it and found someone who could tolerate my sorry ass :P
>but i think Setsuna did nothing wrong at all.
But she did, she manipulated everyone involved.
She knew touma liked MC, she knew MC liked touma. But she also knew that MC could not say no if she asked him out because MC didn't believe touma would ever like him back.
She also knew about the kiss between touma and MC but never told MC and would rather go ahead and decieve him. That's why she hates herself so much, she KNEW just what kind of absolutely awful person she was being.
>Setsuna didn't really have any friends to begin with, and she felt in love with Haruki.
She made a lot of friends quickly, Touma didn't. She had plenty of friends that weren't Haruki. She also wasn't deeply in love with MC the same way touma was, for her it was more about not being left behind even though she still had friends.
>Later she found out that there was some fishy tsundere-ish relationship between Haruki and Touma.
Later? Even the anime shows you that she knew about it all fucking along. She knew 100% about how they felt for eachother.
>her feelings were fucking destroyed by his actions.
She's to blame entirely for that herself. She knew they loved eachother and knew that they might both come to realize the others feelings, which would clearly destroy the relationship she was trying to built with haruki.
>Setsuna was the one in the right
Yeah, right, taking the guy your self-proclaimed best friend is deeply in love with from her just because you know he wont be able to say no if she confesses 'first'? Even in the end of the third visual novel setsuna says that she has to give Haruki back to his rightful 'owner' because she herself multiple times admits just how much of a cunt she is.
All three characters committed faults. Setsuna's disliked because, regardless of how intentional it was, she want after Haruki knowing how Kazusa felt about him, and had the audacity victimize herself through tears rather than showing her guilt.
No idea why you feel like Kazusa doesn't deserve Haruki. They have great chemistry. As cheesy as it sounds, if those flashbacks from Kazusa's perspective proved anything, it's that they were destined to be together.
>No idea why you feel like Kazusa doesn't deserve Haruki.
Because she refused all of Haruki's advances.
As i said, i may be biased on this one, as i had a similar experience IRL, where i was the Setsuna and never actually confessed.
I'm not 100% sure but doesnt she say she can't make true friends because she's so popular or something like that?
>Later? Even the anime shows you that she knew about it all fucking along.
Yea, i meant she didn't know when she first met him, i didn't explain well that.
>She's to blame entirely for that herself.
I believe it was Haruki's duty to reject her. Maybe Setsuna wanted to at least try, even if it was gonna be ruined later on.
Man, i don't know anymore, i felt for the three characters and i'm pretty sure this was the anime to depress me the most, and i've watched "sad" bullshit like clannad and angel beats.
>I'm not 100% sure but doesnt she say she can't make true friends because she's so popular or something like that?
Even in the anime she makes true friends, friends that stick with her for years to come and even years after the VN ends.
>Yea, i meant she didn't know when she first met him, i didn't explain well that.
She knew it from she was singing on the roof.
>I believe it was Haruki's duty to reject her.
You do realize she confessed because she KNEW he wouldn't be able to refuse right? She's 100% to blame herself, she even admits this herself.
>You do realize she confessed because she KNEW he wouldn't be able to refuse right?
I do, but i still belive that Haruki is to blame too. What was he thinking? "Touma doesn't like me so i'll stick with the consolation prize even though i don't like her that much"
By the way, how much of the VNs are translated? I've searched but, at least that i know of, there are the opening chapter (translated), which is the anime, and the closing chapter (untranslated), which would be the s2, but i'm probably mistaken
No, you've about got it right. The Introductory Chapter (IC) is around 82% translated, last I checked, and CC+coda translation hasn't begun yet.
Yes, exactly. He didn't want to hurt setsuna's feelings and because he didn't think he'd ever have a chance with touma he tried to move on and tried to be a good boyfriend for setsuna.
Setsuna knew he would be too considerate of her feelings and that he didn't believe he had a chance with touma and that's why she went for it. Manipulative whore.
