Kakumeiki Valvrave - more Ryuusei no Otome spoilers
Haruto on the cover feels very unneeded, his chapter was just episode 1.
I guess they are using Haroto's father data for the experiments.
Haruto's very existence is unneeded.
Even in her own manga she can't escape the suffering. Do we know if this takes place before or after the public stabbing?
>Do we know if this takes place before or after the public stabbing?
By this page I would say after.
After. The stabbing already happened.
more kream when?
She seems good at that.
Who needs doujins when you have official manga?
A-Drei, I realize you are gayer than Rock Hudson combined with Liberace, but please don't bully Saki.
"This girl can do amazing things"
"It doesn't look like that at first sight"
"Akira-chan! Show Haruto what you can do!"
"She hacked me!"
Why do we call preview pics spoilers?
Sakifags have never been too bright.
they're always mentioned like spoilers so I wrote it too
still, whatever nerds
Can I hope for a translation of the last Karlstein chapter in this or the next thread?
>Your highness, we have prepared JIORian formal wear for the occasion. It will surely leave L-elf speechless.
>It will surely leave L-elf speechless.
It took me longer to notice what was different than it should've.
not by me, the 4-koma was just incredibly easy
>Elf's face when
And then they marry.
Godamn it Haruto.
>short hair saki
What a cute boy.
Stay away, pedo.
Cain only likes pure boys.
Q-vier was pure.
Why did you think Cain killed him? He didn't want him to taint his other boys.
Kreim is perfection
>implying H-neun kept X-eins pure
Why is Audrey also wearing a skirt?
Because he is best girl.
>implying you don't like it
Dorssia changed for the better.
Well it's certainly "speechless" worthy.
10/10 shota, would watch saki seduce
>not sexualizing Saki
Are you a fag?
Oohori Yutaka, pls go.
Stop being a fag and pretending the manga is only thing that sexualized her. Every female was sexualized at least once in the show except Iori and Kriem.
I want to cum inside Kriem.
Nope, the manga is the only thing sexualizing her. Even Takahi was more modest when Haruto lifted her skirt. Yukata draws doujin-tier sexualization.
I want to cream inside cum.
>Every fucking VVV thread is Saki circle jerk thread.
Faggots liking a slut
>inb4 hur Shoko fag
They're both worst girl
>Even Takahi was more modest
I want to touch A-drei's braid.
Fuck off, hater.
Where is the saliva?
You're the only one I see ruining the thread.
Shoko is best girl and Saki is pretty cool too.
>ruining the thread.
Thread is shit from the begining
>the manga is the only thing sexualizing her
What about fanart?
Still better than homo circlejerks and talking about which part of L-Elf you want to cum on.
Then leave or make your own because you're not contributing. You're worse than Sakifags and Shokofags together.
This is truly the worst.
>all this shit taste
Another thread derailed by fanbase wars. You seriously need to fuck each other.
>nobody wants to cum on H-Neun's earrings
Such a sad life.
Is chapter 8 the last one?
Nothing was derailed.
I want to fuck Saki in the missionary position whilst holding hands for the sole purpose of procreation
*Probably* there will be another chapter next month, but it is not confirmed yet.
Not yet. Dengeki hasn't put the last chapter label on Valkyrie of the Meteor unlike Stigma of Betrayal. However, with the influx of new series this issue like Buddy Complex, the next one is probably the last.
>holding hands to procreate
>purpose of procreation
>Implying you won't just ask Papa Tokishima to create you your MASTERPIECE of a daughter
Papa tokishima should make a truely perfect daughteru for the empire
We have already two.
Are buttbabies okay as well?
Shoko and Akira. And Saki is the mother.
Saki and Akira, Takahi is the mother.
VVV 2nd season volume 2 has sold around:
1k dvd copies
3k bd copies
(and in a single week)
still not as high as season 1 but it's solid at least, volume 3 has the ticket event so it should be even higher
Stop pointlessly bumping already. If there isn't going to be any discussion then just let the thread die.
I can't wait to see how big the dropoff is for the last two volumes.
X-eins, I don't want to know what you did to that earring.
I like Hito there, but there's something about the pilots' placement that bothers me.
The way they're arranged makes Jewbro look like the MC.
If only that'd been the case.
Her boobs look bigger.
Hito is the MC.
>Hito is the main in Chapter 1
>Nobu Lightning and the yet-to-be-named Beast High is the focus of Chapter 2
>Hiasobi and Carmilla is has the most "screentime" in Chapter 3
>Beast High goes solo in Chapter 4
Goddamn, this thread is on life support. It's kind of pathetic that the only reason it's still up is because of comments made solely for the purpose of bumping. Can't wait for Saki raws so there will be something to discuss. Polite sage.
>everyone is able to move thanks to Hito
Truly the MC of Valvrave, the dark hero of the Universe.
>Everyone is able to move thanks to Haruto's Runes
He can be replaced, though and sadly.
I wish the anime was like that.
>Can't wait for Saki raws
We have to wait at least one week for them.
Hopefully, we get translatable scans of the last Karlstein manga in the meantime.
How fast are usually the work done in the sidestory mangas?
Also, is the Anthology being done? I saw a chapter or two in the previous threads.
>How fast are usually the work done in the sidestory mangas?
Saki manga: quite fast, usually a day or two from the release of the raws.
A-Drei manga: depends on the translator.
4-koma: no raws.
Anthology is partially done because we lack of raws of some chapters. Check the master post in the archive for the scans/translations.
Looks like the author is working on the third volume. I think he is working on Marie's/Liesolette's arcs.
I want audrey to marry kriem
I want to marry kriem
I wonder if there will be any additional scene for the last volume, especially the epilogue
>especially the epilogue
Doubtful since there will be a drama CD to cover the "epilogue".
I doubt it, because the final drama CD will be focusing to an after-finale story. But maybe we'll get several detailed scenes, like the wedding or some characters reactions to Haruto's death.
Lieselotte had an arc?
Bigger than Shoko's.
I wonder which scene they will use as the last one.
Hopefully, nothing from the far "future".
Maybe Saki looking at the locket while saying something about promise
That fanart gave me a boner, damn you, anon.
I hope the opposite. It would be nice to see Saki and Akira with their new clothes since the art is really cute and Saki with her pajama in the manga was one of the cutest things from Valvrave.
Speaking about the locket, I wonder whose it belonged to before Saki wears it. Since flower and pink is Liese's symbol, maybe L-elf because he is her love interest and when he found it, he wants Saki to keep it.
>Saki manga: quite fast, usually a day or two from the release of the raws.
Wow, I checked the archives and you weren't kidding.
I think A-drei giving it to Saki makes more sense with all those ship tease. But this one is pretty good, L-elf might want Saki to keep it as a form of friendship, like sharing the pain, since both of them have a tragic unrequited love.
I've been thinking that L-elf/Saki can become a great pair because they worked really well, too bad Sunrise can't do the character interaction.
Didn't it get shortened from 4 volumes to 3? Any hope we had of it fixing the mess of the last half got trashed with that.
Most likely it's something she got herself and will never be mentioned because it's completely irrelevant. The locket was never important, just the contents.
Fucking crazy, I know.
Sazy is amazing, we're lucky to have him here.
Except L-Elf's love wasn't unrequited. He has more in common with Shoko in the tragic love department, honestly.
Sad but true
I wonder if we'll ever find out what happened in the backstage of the production that forced them to change it and how the original story was supposed to be.
We'll find out just as much as we did about the changes to R2.
>We'll find out just as much as we did about the changes to R2.
I think we already know a bit about that. This? Less likely, but I think the reasons are also more straightforward.
What makes you so convinced they were "forced to change it"? It could have always been this way.
Uh? I think they confirmed they had to change because of the broadcast timeslot.
Plot inconsistencies, change of pace, etc. The first season could have its faults but most of it made sense, you could see they put some thought in it. The second season felt like it had a lot of things changed last minute that contradicted the previous episodes. Things that don't add up from the top of my head: Haruto's rape urges replaced with memory loss, Marie being a test pilot all along, L-elf only knowing Lieselotte for less than an hour, muh cave promise, Haruto only unlocking his magius powers to power up a flare signal. There's also a couple of things we only know from magazines (like L-elf's parents being killed) but we don't even know if we're supposed to take them seriously (Haruto's mark wasn't on his neck, for example). Then there's weird stuff like Shoko's father involvement with the VVV Project being removed from the website.
And we never found out how things were originally supposed to go. Just like we'll never find out the same with Valvrave.
>Haruto's rape urges replaced with memory loss
That made sense IMHO. He had those urges because it was a warning he was going low on Runes, recharged and repeat. After the tests he manages to control the urges (he "summons" the mark on will in episode 13) and starts feeding regularly avoiding urges, then he stops and Pino is forced to take his Runes, but he still has the ability to control the urges. It was rushed but pretty much implied and I find at least a bit coherent.
L-Elf's knowing Lieselotte for less than a hour made sense for his development. He was as stupid and childish as the students after all.
On the other points I agree, especially on Shoko's dad and Haruto's powers. The last was really useless and an asspull just to make Saki save them.
>L-elf only knowing Lieselotte for less than an hour
What? He was caught taking the princess hostage and was sent to a death school sometime soon after, when was he going to have time to be childhood friends with her? It was supposed to be a love at first sight deal. Even early relationship charts labeled their connection as "fated encounter".
The whole bakemono incident clearly wasn't planned either. At least I'd hope not because of how poorly written and inconsistent it was, even within its own contained episodes. At that point they were clearly making shit up as they went with no clue where they were heading.
I should have worded that better, the thing that doesn't add up is the whole memory loss deal all of a sudden. Haruto was already powering the robots in the first season with his runes, the urges indicated he needed to get a supply but he didn't always get away with it. Saki slapped and kicked him, L-elf punched him, he wasn't aware of how it worked and tried to avoid it, he didn't get his fill that often. But he was still able to power most robots for a long time (2 months at least) and used the harakiri blade quite often without losing a single memory. Then in the second season he conveniently starts losing his childhood memories when he goes a couple of days without feeding, something he only started doing on a regular basis in the second season to begin with. The urges being completely forgotten doesn't add up either. As much as I agree he learned how to control them, they were the only indicator. They only start losing memories when they're really low on runes and being low enough on runes for that to happen should give him sucking urges (even if controlled) or at least a great amount of pain (episode 13).
L-elf and Lieselotte relationship did end up making sense but I doubt that was their initial plan for her.
I didn't say they had to be childhood friends, that never really crossed my mind. Fateful encounter doesn't have to be love at first sight either.
>he thing that doesn't add up is the whole memory loss deal all of a sudden
Yeah, got your point now, I sort of agree on this.
I assume the limiter made it so he only lost a little bit. He was losing them in season 1 but they were from his infant years and things no one really remembers.
>Then there's weird stuff like Shoko's father involvement with the VVV Project being removed from the website.
He just approved it and Haruto's father explained the program's purposes. What else do you need to know?
I think its more that it was removed from the website that bothers him.
The weird thing is removing it from the website, not the information itself.
That piece of information is so useless that it wouldn't have been in the website if he just approved the project. They even said he wasn't PM and stuff. It made it look like that was going to be something a bit more relevant than the infodump we got from Mirko.
Just like the retina scan was "important" for when Saki posted with Haruto's body on the wired.
Red Herrings: The Animation
Here's the thing as I see it: the beast urges had to do with Haruto not successfully feeding on others and spending a lot of time outside of the robot, which is where the urges would come in handy.
In S2, there were no urges because he proactively fed on L-Elf off-screen to compensate.
However, he did more shit inside the robot. What's more, Haruto's brain was already showing signs of deterioration according to the teacher guy, long before he ever consciously lost any memories. They say this right after Marie's death.
I assume that when you're inside the robot, the beast urges are essentially useless since you're almost always piloting alone. Memory loss is a more efficient way of rune collecting since the pilot is right there, not outside.
The info that was removed from the website said Shoko's dad proposed it, iirc. Also it was started 20 years before the series began, so it's unlikely he was PM at the time.
Seems like it was what they originally were going to go with, but then changed it for whatever reason. Maybe because they were axing Shoko's relevance from the plot?
Uh, not him but that was removed because it was clearly a spoiler, we didn't know of the VVV project at the time, it was only mentioned in Saki manga and they never said it involved the old generation of politicians IIRC. The info on the website was clearly a spoiler on the stuff we got later with Mirko and Tokishima's dad.
What is more important is that we don't know what Shoko's father said before dying (and I refuse to believe he said what Shoko said in episode 13).
>Just like the retina scan was "important" for when Saki posted with Haruto's body on the wired.
That was ever meant to be important? I think not.
>They say this right after Marie's death.
The problem being it was never hinted at in S1. The robot causing brain problems just came out of nowhere in S2 with no prior buildup. If it was planned from the start they handled it very sloppily.
He probably said I love you.
It was sure more relevant than the info on Shoko's dad.
>he problem being it was never hinted at in S1. The robot causing brain problems just came out of nowhere in S2 with no prior buildup. If it was planned from the start they handled it very sloppily.
It's definitely sloppy. Just saying it's not objectively contradictory per se.
>The robot causing brain problems just came out of nowhere in S2 with no prior buildup
How so? It was clearly hinted.
I sort of like your theory, it's like he has rune collection mechanisms adapted to his environment.
There's still a problem though, he didn't lose his memories in the first season + he didn't feed regularly. He wasn't getting runes from anywhere but himself for two months without visible consequences.
But when did they ever suggest L-elf knew her for longer than he did? It sounds like your complaint on this point isn't that there seems to be an actual inconsistency, but that you don't think a character can love someone they barely know. L-elf's love wasn't normal, it was an obsession that took root because of an encounter that left a huge impact on him when he was young, hopeless, and impressionable.
We did know about the VVV Project, it was first mentioned in episode 10 or 11. And if it was because it was a spoiler, they would have add it later.
Well the first memories he starts to consciously lose look like age 6-7.
It was episode 10, but it was pretty generic (I remember we speculated the students were modified with the food for example and the tense used by CR/Aniplex seemed to imply the modification were still on going). The spoiler on the website was pretty much what Mirko said, but it was odd to mention Shoko's father and never bringing him up again in the anime.
It is also odd they didn't update the website now, some stuff like 0 G ballet and Wired was not a spoiler.
>some stuff like 0 G ballet and Wired was not a spoiler.
*some stuff like 0 G ballet and Wired was not a spoiler, maybe they just don't care anymore of it or they forgot?
I'm not saying he knew her or spent time with her as a child. All I'm saying is that I doubt that was their plan all along given how they insisted on showing her in the OP/ED and how important she was for L-elf (enough to make his body cry at a photo). Knowing he was doing all of that because he fell for her when he was a hobo feels like "it's fucking nothing". I'm not really complaining though, I love what they did with it. L-elf doing a revolution and losing his shit for a girl he met for a couple of minutes is absolutely adorable and surprisingly fits his character.
What do you think of Impact Boosters?
Really cool, too bad it is only black in the plamo.
Alright on their own, but Full Impact is just ridiculous.
I love the animation sequences when the boosters detach from a limb and move to another one.
>L-elf might want Saki to keep it as a form of friendship
We can assume they had a good relationship or at the very least a strong enough one that she's taking care of his descendants even after 200 years.
It says nothing about her relationship with L-Elf. The prince is lineage of the empire Haruto died trying to create. Of course she'd be making sure he was well taken care of.
How do you pronounce L-Elf IRL? Do read the L as L or say it differently? I'm curious about this.
(Audrey need not apply)
There's no source material that tells us anything about their relationship, which is why I said we could assume they became friends.
From what we know the prince isn't related to Haruto at all because he never got the chance to reproduce. Haruto's idea (part of it) was just to make a place where humans and kamitsuki could coexist, not to make an Empire.
>(Audrey need not apply)
I used to pronounce the "L" as a letter, but Audrey's version just rolls off the tongue better.
>Audrey need not apply
Don't bully Audrey.
Look how gung-ho Haruto is.
I miss L-Elf, Saki and A-Drei I really liked their personalities and I don't know why.
The rape killed his development. If it never happened we would have gotten a more gung-ho Haruto.
Needs more L11.
I miss pretty much all of the cast with the exception of Haruto, Saki, late-S2 Shoko and Jeffery.
Weibo I assume? Could I get the ID please?
Like a fucking splinter.
Best VVV has appeared.
We hit a new low when you have to dump doujins to bump a thread. Just zip it if you really want to share.
>Dat L-Elf ass
This is cute, wish I knew moonrunes.
So, VVV starring L-Elf teaching Nao and Jin how to mecha when?
Never....they are dead.
That's one thing Shoko did right.
VVV Anthology chapter 11 scanlation.
Thanks a lot.
