A long time ago I remember being recommended and watching one or two episodes of a certain asian animated tv show. It had a very pleasant artstyle and inexplicable comfy setting. All I can remember is that it was set in a Victorian/WW1 conflict, and I think the characters resided in some massive cannon construct used to bombard stuff. They also wore delightful uniforms. I can't remember anything about a plot or such, I only watched one or two episodes and remember very little

Sorry if this is off-topic or whatever. I also don't have any related pictures

Cannon Fodder?

it matches some of what you said

Where'd you watch the series, and around what time?

I can't even remember when, three or four years ago. That looks very similar, especially the art style, but I feel like something is still off. I think it may have been playing on a live stream
