>hypnotizing everyone with your loli black magic to think your dead and then systematically killing them is awwright
>>
In most survival type series, there's always one guy that's out to rape the hot chick(s). Sadly, this one doesn't have one. This makes it a shit series.
>>
>>10114719
Man with glasses is all the rapist you need.
>>
>>10114719
the killer has her way with them before they die!
>>
>>10114719
why do you think there isn't gonna be rape, in japan they add rape to everything

is the series ongoing in japan? i only seen two chaps scanlated
>>
Wasn't this an episode of cowboy bebop?
>>
>>10114769
Yeah, its ongoing. Its up to chapter nine I believe in Japan.
>>
I just read chapter one and shitbrix at the end, DLing chapter 2 now.

This annoyed me. I was all set up to start guessing the killer, and then it's suddenly some unknown party?

Fuck it, I'm reading it anyway.
>>
>>10114790
Raws out anywhere? Looked at a couple of sites (mangahelpers, lurker, etc.) and couldn't find them.
>>
Looking kinda shounen there Saw manga..
>>
>>10114834
No RAWs out. The guy scanlating them at SnoopyCool buys the chapters RAW and then scans/trans them. I guess he doesn't bother to post the RAWs.
>>
>>10114840

Shonen's just a demographic.

...And honestly, Japan's idea of children's entertainment is pretty fucked in the head to start out with.
>>
>>10114828
yea i know, i thought it was gonna be a battle of wits or something but no, its just like saw.
>>
>>10114828
maybe that guy is an accomplice of the killer
>>
>>10114877

Ah well, character elimination games are still fun.
>>
>>10114877
meh, let it get into the story. Pretty soon someone's going to start killing the others off and they are going to have to use their wits to stay alive.
>>
>>10114828
Why VHS tapes?
>>
Bets on who dies next?
>>
>>10114903
Because DVDs aren't scary. VHS IS FUCKING TERRIFYING.

>>10114916
I think we should be betting on who the fucking killer is. It was revealed that it had to be someone in that room.
>>
>>10114916
No one. It's all a hypnotism trick created by the wheelchair girl....or is it?
DUN DUN DUN
>>
I'm seeing two mangas called "Doubt".
One's just "Doubt", and the other's "Doubt (TONOGAI Yoshiki)".
Which one is it? I've been meaning to start reading this manga for a while. After Vinland Saga and Berserk, I've learned to take /a/'s suggestions for manga very seriously.
>>
>>10114961
I think its just regular Doubt. The other one Doubt!! is just some slice-of-life bullshit I think.
>>
>>10114961
Holy motherfucking shit just click both links and see.

Oh so, what? The mysterious guy knocks them all out and tattoos them with barcodes (which they somehow don't immediately notice because they apparently have no nerves), and then one of them decides "hey, this would be a great time to kill the girl in the wheelchair!"?

Also, if everyone's barcodes open certain doors, does that mean they're going to start dragging around the dead loli?
>>
>>10115130
Yes, which will be fucking hilarious if you ask me.
>>
They could always opt to cut a chunk out of her flesh instead, you know.
>>
Just read the first chapter. Pretty shounen.

>>
This is such laughable nonsense so far. I'll be reading all the way along.
>>
>>10115336
Do explain.
>>
I'll continue reading it for the chick with the thigh-highs. She's hot.
>>
Well that was fucking gay, as >>10114828 said.
What is the point in even introducing this rabbit/wolf shit and trying to make it some mystery when in the end it's just "LOL IT WAS NOBODY!"
>>
>>10115344
It's Saw: The Manga but worse. Hey, we're all super-best friends all the sudden -- and now someone's (maybe) dead and it's time to work on guessing the killer. Our phones are mysteriously broken, we're in a filthy warehouse, and everyone present fits one of the horror movie trope roles.

Looks like a derivative trash rehash, but I'll give it a go.
>>
>>10115429
I see your point.

Hopefully it gets better.
>>
>>10115466
That's what I'm hoping. So far all the characters seem pretty uninteresting and standard -- we have a typical Heroic Good Boyfriend, his Neurotic Upright but Lovable Girlfriend (or whatever), your standardized Confrontational Asshole who probably posesses a Heart of Gold, the Plucky Girl who likes him anyway (sometimes), and then the Mysterious Guy who seems to know a bit too much about what's going on, but isn't outwardly malicious. It's such a lot of horror boilerplate that I can only hope it's setting up to do something interesting.
>>
>>10115612
Japan has always sucked at horror.
>>
glasses guy is the wolf

>>10115755
Most of these horror tropes originated in America, though. And I enjoy a lot of Japanese horror. This sucks so badly, well, it's Saw.
>>
>>10115818
Didn't you guys see that episode of SZS where someone is so obviously the culprit that we don't think it's the culprit even though in reality it is?

>>
>>10115833 Most of these horror tropes originated in America, though.

Thankfully, yes, otherwise it would REALLY suck.

Japanese horror never seems to have gotten past the campfire story level, which wasn't frightening even when I was a kid. Get it through your heads, people: Ghosts. Aren't. Scary.

Of course, Hollywood's version of horror isn't much better (brutal evisceration was shocking the first few dozen times, not so much anymore)

Oh, I doubt anyone's complaining about the artist.

First chapter didn't do it for me. Other than the explanation of the rabbit game in the beginning, everything else was a bit confusing.

Second chapter was alright just because it later smoothed out the details.

If I was to throw down money and bet with what little knowledge 2 chapters gave me I'd probably say the killer is Mitsuki.
Just because it has the potential to be the biggest twist.
Being that she isn't apart of their original group that plays the game and the assistance would be her father.
I mean, originally she was out to meet her father to get a gift("He's going to buy me whatever I want" could be made into a creepy settlement") but for whatever reason she ended up with the group at a Karaoke.

From the second chapter they made it fairly clear there was another who monitored it, I give that mantle to her father who organized the game as a gift to her daughter who wanted to play.
The fact her father is a police officer would generally reduce the chances but make for a much better twist.

So that's what I'm going with.
>>
so how is everyone ok with this rabbit game that it has its own brand of merchandise?

also the killer is probably Rei
>>
>>10117407

She's also wearing the killer's mask on the cover.
>>
>>10117452

How is everyone OK with it? What do you mean? It's MAFIA, for fuck's sake, everyone loves that game.
>>
>>10117407
I was thinking something along those lines, but it's all a little too m.night Shyamalan.jpg for me
>>
/r/ing a link to Saw, or a link to a batch torrent of saw.
>>
>>10117537

Don't bother, it sucked.
>>
>>10117452
The rabbit game is originally a cell phone game played amongst random people. There's nothing sinister about it on it's own. Brand products could openly exist.
>>
>>10117407
Sounds probable. Especially with what a rulesmongering bitch she is, punishment by death sounds likely.
>>
>>10117573

There's a couple games like this in the U.S., mostly scavenger hunts.
>>
>>10117593

I believe it's more properly called "geocaching".
>>
>>10117491
She wasn't apart of the original group.

The other 5 random people are those who played rabbit with each other over the cell phone. They've probably played the game a number of times together which is why they all seem to know each other by name but not by face. They seemingly decided to have a meet up for fun thus how the story starts.

Mitsuki only showed up 'coincidently' but she wasn't one of the 5 people who played with them over the cell phone.
>>
Still think its a 3rd party thats killing people. Nobody says that the rules can't be broken.
>>
Does anyone know if the RAW has hiragana?
>>
>>10117829
You mean furigana? Not bloody likely outside of children's manga.
>>
>>10117954
Is it considered Shonen or Seinen?
>>
>>10117984
Do you think this is being marketed to 7-12 year old boys...?
>>
>>10117829
with only 2 chapters to really brainstorm, anything's possible.
It's just doing something like having the killer be a 3rd party makes the game redundant(as the situation is supposed to reflect the game, if they can't guess the person then it's not really the rabbit game) and would, at least to me personal, feel like a badly written cop-out.

I had forgotten to assume the next person to die... I'd say Haruka. Only think that way through the process of elimination...

Protagonist is well, almost immune.
The story has already determined that the protagonist has promised to 'protect Mitsuki' no matter what. Which usually grants some protection from plot elements. + my theory/bet.

Hajime has proven to be the brains which will relay all the discoveries to the reader as a plot element. He's also been way too helpful already. "could just be an act", yea well, he could have played stupid and gotten the same results.
Eiji would normally be seen as the prime suspect as he was the only one(aside from the protagonist who was knocked out in the washroom) who wasn't in the karaoke room when shit seemingly happened and he was the only one who harbored angst against Rie. It's the 'too obvious' rule. He'll draw attention away from the actual killer for the readers..

Haruka currently hasn't shown a clear role and her bar code has already been used once(they'll probably have more than one use but..). There's nothing I could see to keep her in the game.
>>
>>10118233
Plus she has tits. Those are like a massive KILL ME sign.
>>
Wheelchair girl is the killer. It's so fucking obvious. She's pointing to herself in the cover or maybe she's pointing to mitsuki but Yeah. Those two bitches being the killer is extremely high.
>>
>>10118891
But she's not wearing the mask.
>>
>>10118201
Shonen is targeted at teenage boys.
>>
>>10118912
can't really depend entirely on the cover art for the solution. Might just be coincidence.
>>
>>10119000
coincidence? She's the only one with her hand up.
>>
>>10119219
She's scratching her fuckin' cheek like any retarded anime character.
