Kuroko no Basuke 247
No amount of friendship can save Seirin now.
>Kuroko hasn’t found a way to resolve his problem but, as Kise once commented, Kuroko doesn’t really know when to give up.
So same old same old.
NGs from BD 1
If they win the story is pretty much over. If they lose the author has another entire year to draw
Also the drama and its translation:
That's a The Heart tier page right here.
>the third years of the other teams gone
>Kuroko's low presence gone
>they can't win against Touou anymore
This really doesn't seem like it will go on for much longer.
Jesus, that drama is kinda bad. At least the VAs did a good job.
Kuroko and Kagami both gonna enter the zone and combine it into MEGAZONE
Could the manga actually end on more suffering?
>audience already starting to leave
Are you not entertained? Is this not why you are here?
I can't see them winning at all. Not even if Kuroko somehow gains a last minute power, because even then Akashi still has his second power.
I want to see more Kuroko with dead eyes.
I don't know if it's just me or not but for some reason hardly any of the animated NGs are funny. There were maybe three that were good.
I like some of them, but I think the jokes are too dragged out most of the time.
Basubros are on it. Thanks a lot.
And then it continues to drag on like this chapter?
There's been some bad moments, but this chapter was overall disappointing because it was completely redundant.
Last chapter Fujimaki made it seem (to me at least) that he was setting it up for a turn around or at least Seirin attempting to, but now were back to no hope.
He needs to stop stalling and dragging this out instead of using an entire chapter to echo what was already said and could have been said more concisely.
Can we go over the small facts of Akashi's second power please?
I can't remember how the others know of it when it's never been seen.
>I can't remember how the others know of it when it's never been seen.
Green told Kuroko it's possible that Akashi has two different powers. The unknown power is linked to his first personality.
We don't know more than that though. And Akashi himself hasn't said anything about a second power either.
So it is there waiting to be unlocked like when his first was with Purple or was Akashi perfecting it?
Purple I think
Disregard that stupid second question.
For a moment I thought he may have been testing it since we've seen him training alone in darkness.
I guess it's possible that Akashi hasn't had the chance to use it since no one has pushed him into using it.
That is unless he's was under some extreme training to tap into it.
It's an all cast drama CD!
All of Seirin plus Ni gou and minus the first years (Guess we'll be hearing Mitobe grunt or something), Kise, Kasamatsu, and Moriyama, Midorima and Takao, Aomine, Momoi, and Sakurai, and Purple and Himuro.
Not too much else to share. I'm guessing you've all seen the life size posters in the subway by now?
>looking forward to manga thread each week
>few posts, everyone hates
What would you want to see happen in this match right now that would make the game satisfactory?
The real probleme with the lasts chaper is that the pacing is too fucking slow, the last 3 chapters were essentially the same
>right now that would make the game satisfactory?
It's a bit late to fix it now.
They did it. They've gone through every piece of merch possible.
Soon GoM condoms
They are only missing tampons, from Kuroko's xs to Murasakibara's XLL, sizes may apply to condoms.
There is no going back or fixing it, but what would need to happen to make the end worthwhile? Anything at all?
Is this all just a slow and torturous buildup to Seirin winning?
>PF - KAGAMI - ZONE
>SF - KISE - PERFECT COPY
>??? - KUROKO
>PF - AOMINE - ZONE
>CENTER - MURASAKIBARA
>SG - MIDORIMA
Who wins and why?
Team 2 is more balanced while Team 1 is all attack.
Which NGs would you like to see animated?
The one where Coach takes off both her shirts.
Are they at least scented?
I didn't read Kuroko to see him suffer. I just want him to have fun.
So they finally sent Kuroko out.
Is this when the bullshit happens?
Kuroko will awaken a new superpower after this, calling it.
And Akashi's second power will mmediately neutralize it.
Am I going to have to drop this manga for the 5th time?
Two for more defensive power.
All of them. They're short enough, so why not NG DVD to cover all of them already?
Probably just a basic mint.
>dropping the bball
We're going to be here until the final dunk.
What bugs me about this is that if Kuroko loses, then his cause against Akashi is lost. The author will havr invalidated Kuroko's position for ostensibly another year of the series. Irrespective of the fact once Kuroko has lost his posslition will forever be untenable, and that winning in a years time won't change that.
Talent and skill trumps hard work and teammanship. If you don't have talent, you might as well roll over and die with regards to baskuball.
I really doubt he will end it here, anyway. Kagami still needs to break down like the GoM.
I wonder if we'll get more Kiseki matches or if old characters will show up (Nijimura, Haizaki, etc.).
Kuroko's birthday is in less than a day, right?
I can't wait to see the displays.
It's on the 31st.
What's with this dead threads lately?
Are we all despairing? I am
Did anyone else dislike the art in the beggining? I knew the art got better so I didn't care but what about the resT?
Wouldn't Kuroko also loses the element of surprise now with multiple teams learning of his techniques?
Why does Kagami need to have a crying on the court moment like the other Kisekis? Besides, he's already had his moment of loss and considering what the bball means to him multiple times.
Thirty first. I plan to post pics after the live while we're waiting for HS.
I know I'm despairing :(
You know, I think I want to see Kuroko get a personality break like Akashi too...
My point isn't about the series ending, it's that once Kuroko loses the match that has been built up throughout the series he'll have his ideology disproven.
And that any continuation from that point will never be able to rectify the fact that talent is more important than hard work. Kuroko might as well stop playing basketball.
I actually liked it and kind of miss it.
>wanting to see Kuroko even more broken
Besides that, are there good scans for the first volumes? I mean, look at this shit
That's very true. And if takes a year.... what kind of "normal" trick should Seirin use to win over Akashi to even reverse that? :(
I don't think it's possible, which is what frustrates me about where the author is taking this.
He seems to be ignoring the entire point of his narrative in order to have an easy development to continue the series. Ignoring that in the process he shat all over the premise.
I agree, it's too late to rectify that now.
The art looks so weird on the first volumes.
Stop or leave.
What kind of power could he have?
>Aomine will never smile again
>Kise will never have true friends
Being a Kiseki must suck.
There is only one acceptible emoticon here, and it's tears. Anything else isn't considered part of /a/ culture. Dejected pain to the point of sobbing only.
Why does it suck to be Purple?
>The art looks so weird in the first volumes.
Even so, it had a charm to it. Things like Takao's face, Kise's black eyes, Kuroko's eyes, and so on. Technically he got better, but I still find the older designs and art appealing as well.
You are always bumping your head on things.
Well, Seirin lost against Touou and the series still carried it's message.
Fuji still has that problem of drawing the eyes way higher than they need to be.
And how much longer will this match take? Maybe 10 more chapters or so, how many chapters was the longest match?
That's the standard midboss loss in sports series, though.
It looks like he aged several years.
Everyone took a sip out of the bishonen river
left is an alien
You're making a very good point. And it's not just Kuroko, but Teppei needs this win too. They all do.
It's just Kuroko putting himself in the worst position of having to win this year. They win against seemingly invincible final boss and it's ass pull. They don't and it's all meaningless. Though I don't find all lost as we've seen a partial positive with the other Kisekis beginning to change and once again begin to love the bball.
You could say the old work is charming, but it's still rather amateurish and lacking of basics.
Imagine those faces crying or in zone. Now they're more realistic.
Why didn't Aomine help Kise?
I certainly thought he was going to but it was just ZR
Speaking about ZONE.
I'm rereading the manga and I think we actually saw it very early, I mean look at his eyes yere.
Because you have only 1 match while the worst Kiseki has 4
Don't you dare shit on Kise, bitch. He needs all the matches he can get.
Kise will never win anything significant.
But did Green ever win anything?
Kise sucks, but his matches were good. Can't say the same for Purple.
The worst part is that he never did anything significant in those matches and he always ended up crying.
Green suffered the worf effect the most. He might just be the best SG in the whole series but he needs to be defeated to show how strong the opponent is (Rakuzan for example) and to let the hero evolve.
Green's only ever won off screen but no one ever shits on him. Favoritism in action.
Because like >>101166379 said, Shutoku is a good team that loses for plot convenience.
What is Dropped?
You are either forgetting or missed a lot of threads.
What, dropped as in Vanishing Drive or him having 100% shooting range? If it's the second one, that's complaining about him being too good, not losing all the time.
Green's power and stats are only surpassed by Aomine and somehow he keeps losing.
Maybe it's bad luck....
Yeah, to Seirin and Rakuzan. Who else did they lose to?
I mean, the hero and the bad guy beat Shutoku, boohoo they suck, right?
You said no one ever shits on him. Midorima has gotten his share here during his games.
Akashi did not have 4 games.
>I've surpassed my limit long ago
>My range is half court, lol no it's the whole court.
He got enough shit during those matches.
Don't be retarded on purpose. You know I meant shits on him for losing.
I just misread your post. It happens sometimes you know.
It's easy to not shit on them for losing in their games with Seirin at least because Seirin has to win. We're sort of seeing how the other Kiseki stunted themselves because of Teikou days.
When they cleaned their locker room, why didn't Mitobe want the others to look at his locker?
Because he was the one who owned the porn.
Why did you answer yourself? Is this supposed to be like a knock knock joke?
I'm just stating an option.
He's been making a photo album of the team which will be presented to Teppei at the end of the year.
Popular theories include BDSM gear or a cute scrapbook he's working on.
Damn don't make me cry anon.
He's hiding his voice in there.
If Seirin loses then Hyuga won't be able to confess to Coach, and then Coach will think Hyuga doesn't see her that way and go for Teppei.
>stays 16 years old
Touou was 25 chapters, the fourth quarter alone took 10. Yosen and Kaijounwere about 20 chapters.
I thinknthis match has 15 chapters so far, but I guess it will take at least another 15 with that pacing.
He will, just naked.
So what was Kuroko thinking when he did that Ignite Pass Kai after Aomine broke past his drive?
Was he trying to hit Aomine or something? There was no one to catch the ball at that time.
Doujins where Kagami pays with his body when
He was just desperate and couldn't believe the techniques he worked on all the summer to defeat Aomine didn't work
That's not my Kuroko. ;_;
If this doesn't get animated I swear to terrorist kun I'll follow his steps to the tomb.
what is that chest tattoo saying?
I love asian dick
Hopefully Fujimaki fired the assistant who drew this monstruosity.
I can't wait for this scene. We will get 5 minutes of just RIMFIRE shots.
Don't forget the most important scene.
She used her feminine charms to cure him.
I mean she fucked him.
Anyway, I had totally forgotten about that scene. Riko better not choose Teppei but knowing that he will be left with a broken heart and leg makes me sad.
Such an important scene and akashiscans fucks it up by mixing up the names.
So you're just waiting for everyone to say "Remember that one faggot who thought Teppei would cut in on his bro Hyuuga even though he knew of Hyuuga's feelings for her?" when he confesses after WC, right?
>it ends with no confession and Coach looking fondly at Hyuuga and Teppei
He's tsundere. Nah, I think they mentioned before that if someone loses, they don't want to be looked down on. If he reached, it probably would've given the wrong message. A bit after that Aomine does despair a bit for wrecking Kise's leg though.
Geez anon you can't just make fun of people for having one eye.
>A bit after that Aomine does despair a bit for wrecking Kise's leg though.
>arc about getting new good first years
>arc about Kise and Teppeis careers in wheelchair basketball
cant end here gotta keep making that fujoshi money
>arc about Kise and Teppeis careers in wheelchair basketball
I'm still mad about Kise losing given that, as he owns all the abilities, he should've been able to win his final matches. And by win I mean a absolutely wreck them all.
>arc about Kise and Teppeis careers in wheelchair basketball
Fuck you. I can't have any more Yellow suffering, he can't ever win for fuck's sake let him have some happiness
Even Fuji admited that Kaijo would have won if not for Kise's injury. Kise has the most potential out of all the Kisekis since he never stops growing.
He's gonna push himself until his legs explode and even then he wont win anything ever
After he punches Wigger in the face.
Exactly. No one wants to be pitied especially not by the guy who just beat you.
I think it was also more important have ZR as his captain in his last year.
He doesn't win either way
>future actor career ruined
Suddenly it's a lot sadder thinking of him as a pilot now.
Damn the way you said it made me laugh really loud.
Damn I love the drama Wigger brought.
Pilots work while sitting on a chair. It isn't hard to imagine kise being paraplegic in the future. The most beautiful vegetable in the world.
Wigger punch was later. Aomine feeling guilty was after the game where he left his team early and glasses guy revealed Aomine having a soft spot for ex-teammates.
It's not ruined. Besides, he can rest now and train again to better support the strain from his stylins.
I'm reading the manga and can't find it, is it before the WC?
In canon no, but we were thinking about wheelchair Kise from >>101175562. In canon I don't think he can fully recover to the point it will never hurt again. Like when you break a bone and even though its healed, it'll ache when it's cold outside.
Maybe it's unrelated but brokenn bones never really heal. I destroyed my knee while skying and now I can't run too fast nor walk up the stairs for too long.
If Kise and Kiyoshi keep it up then they'll have to say goodbye to basketball forever. Same for Kagami and his jumping.
Track back in comments and read the file name.
I'll save you the time to look--Chapter 73 more than halfway in.
>been said that Kiseki's own abilities wrecks their bodies
>Kise tries to copy and use them all at once
He's greedy. The leg thing is not even an "incident". His style cannot work.
I always wondered about Kagami's jumps. He can strengthen himself and such but if he keeps passing his jump limit for the entire time of high school, he should also be tearing his ankles and knees up too.
His leg incident occurred because he pushed himself too hard with Aomine, plus it was his first time using Perfect Copy. If he were an adult, I can easily imagine him being unstoppable (after having mastered his own abilities, strength, etc.)
The audience's reaction is sometimes the best part of the chapter.
Only one guy here gives a shit about the broken basket. Didn't something like this happen in real life and the player became a cripple? That's Purple's future.
You mean this >>101165744 ?
Yeah I found it just a second ago, but thanks.
>that guy is fucking huge
>my stomach hurts
>What should I have for dinner
>I want to go home
>This game sucks
It would be awesome to see the Kisekis as second years and beyond.
Might just be fault of time and available assistants. Not that it's a good excuse, but there have been some chapters where the audience was drawn with nicely detailed reactive faces.
You mean this crap?
It's so obviously out of place with it's style.
Those shitty photo backgrounds of the tankobon versions are even worse sometimes.
Oh wow Fujimaki.
What about him reusing barfing Kuroko?
Yeah, and yes they're very different from Fujimaki's style. It's just interesting to see that we go from blank to that and in between.
Do most artists not have a few dedicated assistants?
I can get over that because of the comedic effect. Those backgrounds are cancer though, his assistants probably insert them.
Many mangaka started out as assistants, but if he has enough people then they should be able to draw good backgrounds and not do this crap >>101180311
That one is not really bad. At least it's not obivously a photograph.
Yeah, photo filtered back grounds are nothing new, but I am seeing it more and it is distracting.
I laughed at the coffee way more than at the background.
This assistant needs to fuck off.
