>you have to register in the forums to access their downloads
>they don't allow uploading on online readers
>using online readers other than Batoto
>implying shitfests like mangafox don't upload scanlations anyway
What's wrong with rar?
You shouldn't be using online readers to begin with.
Not him but I remember a long time ago I wanted to DL One Piece chapters and only one group did decent scans. They didn't have any sort of batch file so I had to download single chapters and they were all rars
Took so fucking long extracting them one by one. It doesn't make sense on files so small
proprietary, and 7z does everything but split files better
>We need translators faggot!!
>this page has been constant in their scanlations
>been doing the series for 2+ years
Come on, NO ONE signed up?
There's really no point in using 7z for scanlations either. Zip is supported by absolutely everything and there should be practically no difference in file sizes if you compress your images properly.
It's inferior. It's be like putting out XVID MP3 AVIs for a show today.
>Credits page with tacky images that have nothing to do with the series
I don't want your Haruhi in my sci-fi post-apocalyptic human vs alien series, god dammit.
>TL notes with absolutely piss poor humor
"TL note; this is a quote from death note XD"
These two rile me the most.
>have to join their secret club to get your hands on their scanlations
>need a password to join their club
What does it matter if it's propriety or not. You probably use flash player.
>you have register
>window opens "You made the right decision"
>you have to make 5 quality topics beefore you can see the link
Thats the thing, Why would someone who could translate Japanese manga into English be reading an English scan.
>four pages or more of what-fucking-ever credit which are as large, or even larger than actual manga
shit like this is why I read raw
>have to pay money to get translations
FUCK sakes guyver scene.
>t/n: x-chan is sooo kawaii in this scene!!!
>editors note: I agree
>Volume is split up into chapters
>Pages in each chapter named the same
Wouldn't it just be easier to make them pdf or cbr files like digital comics are?
>shitty recruitment ads
>unfunny TL notes on every goddamn page
>shooping their name or logo into the art
Jesus fuck why
What would be the point in PDF? And CBR is just a renamed RAR file.
What the fuck why
Why not? It would save having to extract them from the .rar and I don't see any down sides.
I kinda hate when even books are put out in PDF, it doesn't handle as well with phones and ebook readers. epub should be standard for books.
>extracting from rar
>extract them from the .rar
Why would you extract the archives? Just use any comic reader.
>extracting from the rar
>note from the editor or whoever the fuck is leading the faggot squad
>some shitty, unfunny joke
Whoever thinks this is acceptable should be drowned.
These faggots know more japanese than you nerds, so eat shit.
>scanlator gets angry because someone uploaded version 0.5 of his work somewhere already
>takes months to release version 1.0 of his work
If you can't deliver what you call the final version, people will just settle for the older one.
Neah, they just translate from chinese translations.
Its worse with MangaPanda and there unfunny meme's everywhere.
This. Even worse one scanlation group demanded you post 50 non-spam posts in their forum each week to be allowed downloading scans. In the end this group turned 100% private and are more secret than skulls & bones. I will never get a new chapter of Limit ever.
These faggots know more chinese* than you nerds, so eat shit.
>cuts ahead because anime covers those chapters
>then the scanlation dies for years
It took me years to finish reading One Outs and I still haven't stopped being angry.
Some are from French or Chinese translations, Most actually from Japanese and often done by a native with a pretty poor grasp on English.
Oh my poor child, and I bet you use windows picture viewer[whatever it's called these days] to read your manga?
>TL notes on the regular pages
>"Joke" translation page inserted before the actual page or anywhere really
>putting fan artworks or colorings in the release
>editing the credits/recruitment shit somewhere into the manga and not having it on a separate page
>being incompetent with Topaz or other filters you use and making the pages look like ass
>gieb donations we need to buy raws and pay for servers
>uses public scans anyway readily available from the usual places
>uses a cheap VPS that cost $7/month to host everything
>uses mediafire or similar for distribution
>uses adfly for maximum merchant behavior
>holds releases hostage until the get donations
I do this horseshit with my second group, that's only devoted to putting out fairly crappy releases of garbage only tumblrtards would enjoy. Feels good, man.
>pick up manga after the anime gets it noticed
>go autistic as fuck on anyone else who picks up translating the manga
>don't even manage to translate to the half way point of the anime in years
>still take on a hundred new series that you'll never translate passed Vol 2.
Every fucking time.
Oh and I forgot watermarks.
How much on average do you earn each month? I lurked in an irc channel once were a dude was wenting after disbanding his group. He got like $1000 in donations in a paypal account even though he didn't ask for anything. The ads alone accounted for a few hundred bux in profit each month. This was before the breakthrough of online readers though.
Are you perhaps talking about village idiots?
Fucking hell that is some maximum jew shit.
>manga has good scans, good translations, everything all nice
>"official" translation starts and the group has to drop it
>the official translation costs money, even though it's digital only
Yamada-kun and the Seven Witches, oh ho I loved you. It's a shame CrunchyRoll exists.
>oh ho I loved you
Why do they have to drop it?
>dropping manga because crunchyroll stole your translations and sent dmca notice to you and mangaupdates
On that note why the fuck are horriblesubs taking so long to get their manga ripper working.
I'm Santa, ho ho ho.
They dropped it because they didn't want to do it anymore, not really because of CR.
Is there any reason to use Batoto over Mangatrader? That's where I go.
Because they have no real interest in manga. I can rip the latest chapters pretty easily. Is there anything you're after?
>yamada and 7 bitches
Well I don't know why it even keeps going at this point. Going by the mangaka's track record she is going to shit it up and get it axed just like yankee-kun and make the worst ending in history.
For a guy who reads updates nearly immediately, Mangatraders is far too slow for ongoing series.
Just read the latest chapter. I'm not really digging it. Wish it just ended back then.
Eh their twitter stated the ripper is 90% complete back in November or so. Otherwise I'm looking for silver nina and recollection if there are any new releases ahead of scanlations.
What's a good one now anyways.
I used to use some ancient program to do it but Its on my old computer and I don't want to dig it out of my closet to check what program it was.
Not related to scanlations but
>mangaka goes on breaks
Hiatus x Hiatus, get off your fucking ass and work, Togashi.
I'm fine with that. I don't usually read chapters and just wait till the next volume is done.
>series has really good scanlation
>the group disbanded after volume 2
I use honeyview. There might be a better one but it's pretty good. I use it for just general image viewing as well.
Mangatrader adds annoying file prefixes. I've got a script that handles that but non the less annoying.
>Just read the latest chapter. I'm not really digging it. Wish it just ended back then.
Yeah just like yankee-kun. To not get really fucking mad stop at chapter 209.
>doesn't know how to translate a joke
>inserts their own instead
Everything about GTO's early scanlations.
>manga has been concluded for decades
>chapter 4 release when?
Aww man I fucked that up.
Heres the right one
Honeyview is excellent as this gentleman points out >>101135725. There even is a metro version now for windows phone and windows 8 although it costs money. The usual desktop version is still free.
Personally I haven't found one I'd call good, it's more of a pick your poison type of situation. Try MComix, Honeyview, CDisplay, CDisplayEX and see what you like the most.
It's pretty damn simple frankly.
Silver Nina is like 20 chapters ahead, but with no other chapters and Re Collection has an extra chapter. I'll upload that if you want.
Batoto + DomDomSoft is fine if you don't feel like RSSing dozens of websites.
Assuming that your manga is allowed on Batoto.
Agreed. I stick with CDisplayEx, but man I wish it had faster lancsoz.
>It's pretty damn simple frankly.
I read they xored the image with 42 or something. I'm not into web technologies so I don't even know where to start making my own ripper despite coding for embedded platforms as a living.
> Re Collection has an extra chapter. I'll upload that if you want.
I'll take it. Thanks in advance.
What was the original about?
Yamada-kun had god awful releases. I dropped it because how tired of their shit I was. Picked it right the fuck back up because of CR. Hail CR.
Sounds more like Japanzai to me.
That's pretty much it. You just have to read it byte by byte and write out the new file.
Best online site ripper? I'm using Free Manga Downloader but it's kind of shit lately and is coded in pascal so I can't be assed to fix it myself.
Heres the page explaining it
don't forget about the company going bankrupt and never releasing another volume, and the group dying. Or just straight up never translating the property. This shit is endemic with light novels.
I've actually been thinking about buying some GUNNM: Last Order volumes, if only to hide them secretly in a box somewhere. Whoever is doing the translation does it accurately and up-to-date, and I can get the English volumes. cheaply and with a minimum of bullshit off amazon. Obviously i'm not patient enough to wait for the time delay in publishing and shit and steal them off the internet, but this company has their shit together and I always feel like i should support them for not being fucking retarded.
Then I remember I'd have to ship them home to my mom and she'd be receiving them weird Japanese comics.
>months behind on manga
>ask for donations
>release one more chapter
>drop the series
1st and last time I donated to a scan group.
CR IS official release and since it already exists, there's nothing wrong with fan scans stopping since the whole point of fan scans is that most people can't read moon.
And you don't have to pay CR to read the latest chapter, it's the archives that you have to pay, which shouldn't be an issue since HS is ripping them anyway.
Well it's more of a PROzess issue though. Hell translate the first 5 chapters if there boobs and panties and then lose interest.
On the topic of CRManga how is there release of Mystery Girlfriend X? I'm not from Freedomurrika so I can't view any of there Manga.
Is it up to date with the scanslations which I think is at 84
HS are lazy pieces of shit. No one has any of the chapters from today. I should probably upload Wagatsuma as well.
Crunchyroll is now trying to kill scanlations like it killed fansubbing.
Does CR not italicize random words of the dialog?
I fucking hate that so much.
>no releases for months
>someone else releases a chapter of a project you're working on
>massive analpain, immediately release 2 chapters that you've been sitting on and bitch until the other chapters get taken down
>we don't have a translator seriously
From previous posts, very very bad. Their typesetting for the series is atrocious.
I'll check it out. I have some experience with C# so it shouldn't be that hard I guess to create a ripper that talks with the crunchytroll api.
Depends, I can cope with this if they do it properly.
Bakkin Bakkingamu are an amazing scanlation group that do this. All my love for bakkin.
Monthly manga releases far outnumber weekly anime episodes. Scanlations are here to stay.
I just refresh the "releases" page on mangaupdates daily and scan through to see if anything I like has popped up. If you're a sperg and like to hook up your RSS feeds and all that it's probably going to irritate the fuck out of you, obviously there's no way to avoid missing things. I guess you could set up some sort of feed that checks the page for the name of the title and alerts you, although I have no idea how you would go about doing that. It also got real annoying now that they were forced to remove scanlators websites, I want to punch whoever was responsible for that in the throat and then kick them in the fucking nuts.
And here you go, Re Collection
That's fucking horrible.
It completely changes the personality of the characters saying the lines.
It's basically taking a line saying "You're cute, but she's not" and going "You are dammmmn hot bizzatch, but she is a fugly son of a bitch, amirite?"
Can you post the script?
He didn't do a very good job at keeping the conversation going and not sounding very awkward.
I see what you mean, it was entirely uncalled for.
Holy shit, I haven't seen someone use that reaction image in a longass time.
No, please no.
>way behind on manga chapters
>some group/anon releases one or two chapters
>first group throws a fucking tantrum like they own the manga and ignore how they weren't doing a fucking thing with it for months
>quickly release a few chapters
>go back to doing fucking nothing
The amount of times this happens turns me off reading ongoing manga.
>no online reader uploading allowed
>i upload to manga traders anyways
Hm, whats that? You want to make money on page views from manga you didnt create? LOL fuck your money
We now have at least 90% of shows every season bring translated and with at least decent level of quality.
Unlike years ago when we'll be lucky if a show you look forward gets subbed at all.
Yeah, sure, keep telling yourself that.
There's not a chance in hell they're going to be able to pick up more than a dozen series, two max, without some serious manpower. Doing a decent quality scanlation is time-consuming.
Although god knows how much money you can make off of 5 dollar subscriptions. Jagex is still around and kicking, somehow.
>What's a good one now anyways.
Google is your friend.
>Unlike years ago when we'll be lucky if a show you look forward gets subbed at all.
What a load of shit.
Am I missing something, because CR doesn't seem like it's doing more series than a medium sized scanlation group? Doesn't really seem all that intimidating.
They picked up 10 series in the past month dude. Going to 50 sooner or later apparently.
I've never fucking understood the amount that people whine about this. I'm a scanlator and I do it because I know people like to read what I put out. If it's uploaded to more places, then more people get to read it, right? They don't even have to keep the credits, as long as they don't try to claim they did it themselves.
I was under the impression that the the BILLION DOLLAR AD MONEY PROFITS were a fake dot-com bubble thing. Can you really make that much money off putting pockie pirate banners on top of your shitty chinese cartoons? Especially when it's something other than the big three?
>Took so fucking long extracting them
why would do you extract your files
The group put up a tl note explaining it anyway and it wasn't as if the translator made up the joke entirely; it was still quite close to the original meaning.
Stop being stupid. You're just complaining for the sake of it.
>I want to punch whoever was responsible for that in the throat and then kick them in the fucking nuts.
Ultimately Crunchyroll. They rolled out their online manga reader the same time MU's paypal was slapped with DMCA. In the process of removing group links they deleted several orphaned groups and their releases. The groups were dead for like 7 years already and naturally didn't have twitter or facebook contact details.
MU could give up the database to other people but they don't want to because the leadership makes money off MU. MU is going to kill itself slowly because at this point I just scrape batoto for releases and new series that might interest me.
Jesus Christ. If typesetting bullshit shonen manga was my full time job I would probably shoot myself in the face.
>it was still quite close to the original meaning.
>you in charge of extrapolating
It's just a few alarmists and their exaggerations, nothing new.
This? According to manga updates it ends at ch23; the entire thing is on mangatraders.
When they use hosts such as FilePost that inevitably die, and are never uploaded anywhere else.
>don't upload out stuff anywhere else guys seriously
At work at the moment and don't have the script. It's a simple powershell script using regex though. It just traverse all subfolders and look for the files that need renaming.
They said so earlier dumb shit.
Shinji pls go
>not using youtube to stream your manga
Fucking plebs. When did they start coming in?
>that cherry picking.
Thanks for proving my point. Keep bitching.
I can't believe people still do it. I saw Mob Psycho on youtube.
>I'm a scanlator
> If it's uploaded to more places, then more people get to read it, right?
Why cant more scanlators fucking understand this shit like you? For fucks sake if only there where more altruists out there who took the time to translate gooktoons
what scan group are you from? I think ill hit you guys up for shit from now on
No it's not, no quality difference
You've never worked at a company before or something? Organizations always say shit like "we expect to reach this goal in X time etc", doesn't mean they actually manage to sustain it.
>everyone uses mediafire
>mediafire is great, 10/10 host
>slowly goes to shit and every group suffers because everyone used the same good host
And don't get me started on megaupload.
I can't believe people really do that. So weird.
10 series in the past month is no joke. They're very serious about this.
Not to mention it's no longer one publisher, but three?
>50 non-spam posts in their forum each week
How can one faggot have that much to say, let alone an entire community of faggots? The only forum I've ever been anywhere near active in I only have around 3.7k posts and I've been there for 9 years.
Most scanlators don't give a shit. It's why you don't hear much from the groups who aren't retarded. It's always the few idiots who start drama and thus draw attention that stays in people's mind.
Again, it's just a few shitheads ruining things for everyone. Most groups just release their stuff quietly.
My theory is that people want to comment and discuss the chapter with people. But it is a bit weird that they can't find a better way to do it.
One was a pun and one was replacing dialogue with outdated pop lyrics, I'm certain they could have tried harder.
I always thought it was those insane freaks who spend their entire lives simply watching youtube and doing nothing else on the internet.
Have they finished back chapters of any of their series' yet?
Why don't scanlators associate themselves with a torrent site like bbt or AB and just release their shit through there?
Doesn't require hosting a website, no need for mediafire, plenty of daily users.
>Shit you hate in the scanlation scene
So /a/ is literally just a blog for whinny bitches now.
Since they get probably get digital raws with no text in the speech bubbles I'd imagine the translation and typesetting is pretty damn fast.
People just like using youtube for everything, I doubt these people even know about online readers let alone who is actually doing it.
I remember someone actually thought MangaFox was a legal method for reading licensed manga.
First day here?
>the entire thing is on mangatraders
Take a closer look.
A significant portion of them now.
This is a community of faggots with that much to say.
Considering the >anime cliche general, that runs almost 24/7. Yes.
Welcome to /a/! we all hate you.
I was on a forum for 3 years and had almost 40k posts.
Mind you this was a very spammy forum, spam was not discouraged as long as you kept it to the right sections. Stuff like Off topic chat threads.
Our top three posters were all in the 98-110k range and most active oldfags sported at least 40-60k
Ah, I see. I hardly ever read manga because "translation ongoing" is an instant "ill wait a year to see if its done" procedure for me with few exceptions, since i know damn well about drama/sub group dying right in the middle/subgroup deciding not give a shit anymore horseshit.
Anyway to know which groups do this so i can stay the fuck away from them? Also what type of drama ensues generally? The only thing I know is bitching about manga hosting sites and "stealing"
>Can you really make that much money off putting pockie pirate banners on top of your shitty chinese cartoons? Especially when it's something other than the big three?
Apparently mangafox and its sister companies make $13000 a day if you are to believe the credit pages for the most recent scanlator group being butthurt about it. They are so butthurt they have 10 credit pages mixed into their release, each page being 4MB or so.
Torrents are terrible for releasing manga. Especially per chapter. Seeds are terrible after even a little while and v2s and all kinds of shit just make it unwieldly. Only torrent completed things.
Angry buttmad scanlater detected
>Apparently mangafox and its sister companies make $13000 a day
I occasionally rip pages and they have nothing in the bubbles. I have no idea how their system works and why they would serve them at all considering they aren't viewable normally.
Because mediafire is boss.
That's just horrible.
That particular example was a scanlation group ran by women. I put up with their inital bullshit like registering a forum account and make a few non-spam posts. When I have to spend more time on their forum than I do reading their releases there is something very wrong with them. Thanks to people putting up with their bullshit posting their releases to mangatraders they eventually went 100% private.
Maybe they want to start doing them in other languages so just having blank speech bubbles would make it easier for the next language and you wouldn't need the same chapter on the site several times.
That may be but I'm on windoze and it's my best option. In fact powershell is quite nice as long you remain on windoze.
They have a locale section though for that. And some of the series are blank, some aren't. It's odd.
>I will never get a new chapter of Limit ever.
Vertical published all six volumes.
I suppose it would be bad for per chapter as they would have to release them in the forums and not as torrents.
But most series are only one volume anyway, so it would be hardly an issue to scanlate 6 chapters at once and have a complete volume as a torrent.
I'd be pissed too if some assholes were making money of something I did for free aswell. Scanlators maybe be thieves but they are non-profit ones.
>hardly an issue to scanlate 6 chapters at once
You don't follow much manga huh?
>But most series are only one volume anyway
What are you reading?
Scanlators will translate 20 chapters of some shit and then release them one at a time weekly. Gotta stretch out how long they can get donations and praise
I liked it but not so much that I would BUY a physical copy. On that matter I've kept my manga and anime interest a secret for the past 15 years so physical goods is a no go. I do have a few series in physical form that I have to get rid of before I die.
Those numbers are probably taken out of the scanlation's groups asses though. I doubt you can make that much on ads for serving manga to a mostly underaged audience.
>mfw casually translate the odd doujin when I have time and anonymously post them on 4chan (whichever board is most relevant)
>mfw I have no face for the stupid locked community bullshit people pull, especially fujoshit
Holy shit, why are people so conceited about this? You speak >1 language, you're not that special. I've gotten into a few LJ communities because I have an old LJ account that I've never posted in, download their raws that I have interest in and translate and release them just to cockblock the self-entitled little shits. jisho.org and Google Translate doesn't give you reason to be a cunt.
>Scan group comment at the end of each epidose
Why the fuck , and the fact that they dissed the Musashi vs the 70 Yashioka battle almost made me go insane
You're a disgrace.
I was done with those chapters just yesterday. I agree with you.
Torrents could work with a couple of dedicated (as in loyal) seedboxes.
And making it somewhat easy for individual users to mirror precisely everything.
That fucking chick in the backseat, every time.
>Completely senseless chapter naming
>Uses dumb file locker that either doesn't have a form of batching, or requires you to signup/pay to batch
and I hate it
Idiot, there are ways to 'extract all to /*'
Thank you, kind anon.
jdownloader decrypts most of that shit
Online reader only
Let files die while never updating them
No main download page, have to go through every release post
Change filenames every 3 chapters
Need to sign up to some forum
Need to sign up to some forum and post under the chapter/upvote it
Need to sign up to some forum and post until they like you and deem you worthy
Whatever leads to shit like this.
Scanlator filenames are still the fucking worst.
I downloaded a whole bunch of manga so I could put it on my tablet, and wrote a script to deal with it, which I further edited per series as new bullshit popped up. I still had to edit some filenames manually, though, like in the case of Needless here - some filenames didn't originally have chapter numbers at all, they had volume number and chapter name (the SugoiSugoi scans) and the special also didn't have any kind of number to indicate where it would go so I had to look it up online.
And even after I got all the filenames sorted out I still got tripped over the fact that some fuckwits had stuffed archives inside archives and Perfect Reader on Android can't deal with that. FUCK.
>cuts ahead because anime covers those chapters
Didn't Nichibros do the same? Though I think scanlation started after the anime, but I'm not sure.
>full collection of some manga
>only links are to long dead file upload sites
>thousnads of torrents
>buy publishing rights
>don't actually publish
Isn't there a law that makes you lose licenses if you do that? Because if there isn't there should be.
Still waiting for the untranslated chapters.
Chayafuru's scanlators did the same too.
also where the fuck is the best place to download complete manga series' instead of having to view them on a page by page basis online
I had to edit like 300 individual chapters of Kekkaishi manually and now I don't feel like reading it anymore. What compels a man to upload a complete batch torrent in chapters instead of volumes?
I hope Love Lab doesn't turn out like this.
>give cleaner really easy to level HQ raws
>filters the ever living hell out of it
Editing all those chapter names by hand would have been horrifying (I had 328 files total for 15 series to deal with), that's why I scripted it. Even though the script needed adjusting like every two series for new and imaginative filenames and I had to rename some files manually it was still way less work (plus a lot less boring).
Mangatraders I guess but they suck since queuing downloads is a pain in the ass. Damn I miss #lurk.
>they don't allow uploading on online readers
I'm fine with this. You retarded shittards need to stop being shit.
Main issue with scanlation team is
>irc only downloads
>forum only downloads
isn't most HQ raw only need a leveling and a noise filter will do?
> Not redoing magazine scans when volume scans come out
> Groups which do not have same level of quality as Kotonoha or Illuminati-Manga
To be far, most won't care of this, and most manga won't have extra redraw to do so.
Are you talking about kisu kiss groups analpain marathon?
I got some quality laughter out of it yesterday on IRC with other scanlators.
The best part is that their website will redirect to some adfly shit just by visiting it. Site/download links are peppered with ad-links and Donation begging is topkek.
>irc only downloads
I'm fine with this. You retarded shittards need to stop being shit.
You're saying that like "motekawa" isn't slangy as hell.
Isn't #email@example.com satisfying all your d/l needs?
>HQ raw and noise filter in the same sentence
pls be a troll
Man up, IRC downloads always have flying speeds and are easy to batch download.
>brb dealing with 5 adfly links and 5kB/s DDL speeds on some shady website with "5 hours before next download" limits.
>kisu kiss groups analpain marathon
I hate those fuckers so much, I just want them to stop doing anything.
Just caught up with Yankee and Megane and the last few chapters where from them. 4 fucking credit pages at the start 4 pages at the end.
All talking some bullshit about mangafox and mangahere.
>doesn't know how to skip them via greasemonkey scripts
>implying it is acceptable to be bothered even 1 extra second to deal with adlfy/shorte etc crap in the first place.
Skipping them doesn't make it magically okay.
Some scanlation teams want money to fund their servers and buy scans. I dont see an issue.
Except that CR doesn't let me see lots of things simply because I'm not from Murrika.
Paying the same as everyone else, but not being able to watch/read 90% of the stuff they release? No thanks.
Scanlator should drop the shows only once CR pull out the stick out of their ass and let everyone who is registered read everything.
I tried the page out myself, as I always do before I pass on work, and I can do it fine without a noise filter
What's worse is I have been noticing this certain staff member use noise filters on the most perfect of tank raws
what raw shouldn't be using noise filter at all? HQ tank raw and webcomic?
If it's a forum like 4chan, where slightly off topic posts aren't discouraged and people use it more as a chat than as a forum, I can see even 50 posts a day happening.
Especially on days where more than 1 manga I read gets released.
How much does it cost to buy a license for a series? Do companies pay rent on licenses or is it a one-time startup cost?
>they don't allow uploading on online readers
How the fuck are they going to stop you? Don't be a pussy and do it anyway.
Yep, tank raws are easy enough to clean considering you used a decent scanner since I find the paper texture is minimal enough compared to say, magazine raws that Jump scanlators use
That's an extreme example though
bakabt has a good amount. Even if they don't usually touch licenced anime, they will allow licensed manga...for some reason.
* Translator note: [simple Japanese word or phrase] means [simple English word or phrase]
Just write the damn English word.
And don't get me started on comments made in the margins: "omg!!" It's like talking during a movie in a theater.
>disorganized rar and filenames
>blogging on their own page without releasing shit so the RSS is always a mess
>using shitty direct download sites that has a speed of 10KB/s and won't let you resume files, linkbucks and other jewish shits
>2 pages long TL note
>internet drama every time someone picked up the project you've been stalling a year and a half ago, yes I'm talking about you, Woxxy, you fucking faggot.
>most doujin are quickly scanlated into Chinese
>some are only available in Chinese
They are frighteningly efficient at this.
(Mainland-rune readers: Are those translations any good, or are they Hadena tier?)
All hentai translations are Hadena tier regardless of the language.
>replacing dialogue with their name
Fucking Norway man
Might as well ask here:
