I wanted to hate it because it's obvious what kind of fanbase it'll attract, but it's actually pretty enjoyable.

Is that a filter I see?

At first I thought it might be cool because detectives and urban fantasy, but the story is just getting fucking stupid. The exact moment I dropped was the dialogue between superintendent Araragi and Makishima Sylar, which was supposed to set a personal conflict for the former and a moral dilemma for the series as a whole, but was terribly unconvincing and just came off as try-hard.

This. It didn't seem like it was going anywhere,

Dropped it. I want to support anime original stuff, but it honestly just seemed awful. It had cool moments but an obvious shtick with unlikable characters and a fucking laughable villain.
