So /a/ which did you guys prefer Majestic prince or Valrave?
Both shows have similar story lines with a group of teenagers piloting mechs and saving the world and all that jazz.
In my opinion I think Majestic princes has my vote as the action sequences can get pretty intense at times with the storyline taking breaks every now and then with some pretty hilarious scenes.
Mjp had shitty starting episodes while valrave was good the whole way
need to finish MJP once it's there BD rips.
I really like both
valvrave was great tilll that shit ending
Did you see the last 5 episodes?
Overall I prefer MJP.
VVV S1 was fun due to Saki's selfishness and L-elf's autism. S2 kinda sucked the fun out of VVV with Haruto being Haruto and Shoko being Shoko.
>while valrave was good the whole way
The one that is getting a second season in the spring.
But I liked Shoko....
I dropped Valvrave on episode 2, MJP at least made it to 6. I didn't even start Gargantia.
Recent years have been shit for mecha.
>ALL DIS RETARDATION
How do you know if the world is flat if you never explored the world?
MJP is a better show for marathons or rewatch value while VVV was better for watching with a large group and a weekly basis.
I preferred MJP overall in the end.
Agreed, the end to VVV was pretty half assed if you asked me and I think it could've been executed way better
I just got around to finishing VVV like 5 minutes ago. Say what you will about all of it, especially the ending. But on the last episode when Haru and L-Elf had a touching bro moment, it was fantastic
I only got a few episodes in to MJP but I'll try it again.
>Haru and L-Elf had a touching bro moment, it was fantastic
>Haru and L-Elf had a touching bro moment, it was fantastic
Too bad both characters were so poorly developed that you really couldn't give a shit.
Both were pretty bad, but Valvrave was at least an entertaining sort of bad. Majestic Prince was just boring and mediocre.
Did you see that one battle on earth?
>but Valvrave was at least an entertaining sort of bad.
People are still spouting this bullshit?
I can't handle anymore Hisashi Hirai's face so I passed on MJP.
That being said Valvrave was mediocre. With last few episodes being outright bad.
Also MJP has really aggressive fanbase.
Are you saying I wasn't entertained?
Why would anyone care.
Wow.....you're a fucking idiot.
I'm saying you have shit taste and trying to justify it is pathetic.
Valvrave first season or whatever was better than 2nd. Majestic Prince got better as it went don't know. MJP felt like it needed 2-3 more eps.
Also someone mentioned Gargantia. I marathoned that months ago. That one tan girl makes my dick hard.
MJP turned out pretty fucking awesome. VVV on the other hand a hard steaming pile of shit. It was like watching Guilty Crown all over again.
MJP is generic as it can get but still watchable. VVV is just outright bad and the only redeeming quality is the trainwreck value.
>MJP felt like it needed 2-3 more eps.
Well, it might get a second season since the Wulgaru never really left and are just temporarily neutralized.
Should I watch Aquarion Evol or Majestic Prince?
valvgay wishes it was half as popuar and successful as GC. That garbage anime literally had nothing other that /a/ loud circlejerk of double standard hipster retards.
VVV obviously. VVV is AOTY material.
MJP actaully wasn't that bad on the Hirai face. It was more Scryed than Seed. And it didn't have nearly as much sameface either.
/a/ + VVV > Gargantia > MP > VVV
Evol had a fairly good beginning but around the halfway mark it started going downhill with the main heroine and hero acting retarded started making it hard to watch. Kind of like VVV really.
VVV of of course. That show is the most entertaining for 2013 while MJP is mediocre all the way through. It doesn't help the MJP has a vocal minority that found itself trolling VVV threads.
MJP was great at being a mecha show despite the Hiraiface while Valvrave was great watching with /a/.
>ALL DIS SHIT TASTE
MJP had a mediocre start but got better later when shit hit the fan. The action was always pretty nice but the plot and the characters weren't that strong.
VVV was entertaining and trainwracky since episode 1.
VVV was more fun.
MJP was better qualitywise.
>VVV was more fun.
>not enjoying wild rides
>Not enjoying fun.
I think it's time to go back to /v/.
How was VVV fun?
wait what?didn't remember screwing you guys. iirc MJP threads however usually gets bombed with hurr Hiraiface flat characters
>no one mentioning Gargantia
Plot twists every week plus Original Sunrise Anime. Your variation of fun however might come off as shitposting.
It was one shitposter trying to get fans to fight with one another.
Again how the fuck was any of that fun unless you're retarded? You fags were worse than SamFlam tards
I'm trying to pretend that Gargantia never existed and that I didn't waste so many hours of my life in that boring mediocre piece of shit.
Pretty sure this thread is a bait but I'll bite: I'd say both.
MJP was boring at the beginning, but it picks up at around the 10th episode. The character design isn't bad, The story is generic, but the characters are likeable, the fighting scenes are excellent and are the highlight of the show even for someone who's not really into mecha as myself, it keeps you wanting more and more. The weekly threads we had were fun, even if it was mostly keifags. I'm an amanefag, yes those exist, and I want more of her.
VVV was entertaining, the story was original (space alien vampire and all), it had its (many) retarded moments and the tweests at the end kept you watching, I fell in love with the characters, even the side ones like marie, the character design was nice. It didn't have many fighting scenes, and most were forgettable, but I liked how they kept the 2D appearance for the mecha even though it was in 3D. The daily threads were fun, between speculah, waifuwars, shitposting and jokes, I couldn't leave the threads. Everything went downhill around the end of the 2nd season, where almost everyone who is not L-Elf acted like a retarded 5 years old. It was like the ending was written purely to please the fujo since L-Elf resolved everything with the help of audrey and x-eins, Haruto only lent him his body, saki pushed a module (and was saved by audrey) and shoko just sat on her ass.
I didn't mind the ending left to our interpretation, I hated how the staff treated its characters at the end. Haruto was very bland as a main character and everybody relied on L-Elf a bit too much to my liking, compareed to MJP where they accomplished everything with teamwork. The threads turned to shit at the end, no more fun, just hate and character bashing.
tl;dr VVV was more entertaining than MJP, but I don't want to see any more of it. I'm eagerly awaiting MJP second season though.
Are you me?
I totally agree on L-Elf, only one thing though: L-Elf needed the pilots, but the staff never bothered to stress this because of biased writing.
