ITT we discuss what makes an anime good. For me, it's personal emotional impact. This is why I consider Honey and Clover the best.
The "emotional" moments were where H&C failed, especially in the second season. I still consider the first season to be great however.
Why hello there
Cute lolis make an anime good.
Hot Blooded speeches and GAR.
Honey and Clover has one of those, so you'll probably like it a lot too!
Hagu is fail though, Honey and Clover would have been much better without her
OP, I also consider this quality to make an anime good, and I liked Honey and Clover (the first season more so than the second) but if you really want emotional impact, there's a bunch of anime I can recommend to you: NANA and KURAU Phantom Memory.
The post I am replying to is incorrect.
I am watching NANA right now. It is looking good. I will also look into KURAU Phantom Memory. Thank you for these recommendations.
blood and boobies
Honey and Clover is shit.
We don't talk about Honey and Clover.
What makes an anime good is direction, writing, and animation.
What makes me enjoy it is premise and characters.
You will probably like Mnemosyne.
I thought /a/ didn't talk about anime it liked.
Realism; logical morals, and ideals. Alas, these qualities are as rare as drops of water in a desert.
The first season was very popular on /a/ when it aired, most of the dislike/hate for it come from the second season.
ending sucked. /a/ would have been fine if the loli/adult chose that long haired dude. best character got no love, just like minami-ke and hosaka.
You will probably like Boku no Pico.
