7 new witches. Are you happy with this outcome?
Wait..what. No. New chapter? On CR I'm guessing?
It's a shame the mangaka caught dosh fever. Oh well, hopefully it doesn't turn to shit. Should have ended already though, no fucking need for this.
This is odd. Normally /a/ likes to discuss this manga when a new chapter is out. Was there a thread for it already, or has this thread just not been seen at all?
I dropped it when Crunchy picked it up and the only way to get new chapters was to download all the chapters ever in a singel zip from a torrent.
Fuck that noise.
We'll make sure to use rar next time.
I feel like you are making a joke but I don't get it.
Over half of the entertainment value came from Mahou-X's interesting translations.
>the only way to get new chapters was to download all the chapters ever in a singel zip from a torrent
Is THAT the GROUP that was trying too HARD to look PROFESSIONAL by using BOLD?
>7 new witches
You have to be joking.
Yeah, over localization it's usually shit, but without it I realize that this manga it's actually not that good.
I hated that thing.
It felt as if I was reading a western comicbook.
It's still good, but now it feels like the characters have all had their actors replaced as they all talk with different voices.
What's wrong with this? What the fuck else would they do with the story? Leave it as a generic school life romantic comedy? Fuck it's not even that anymore without the witches.
>It felt as if I was reading a western comicbook.
What's wrong with that?
Had to go back to previous chapters to confirm that I'm on the same page as you guys. Never even noticed the bold during my first read-through.
The author could just ended the damn thing, everything was solved and Yamada got the girl.
No more horriblescans?
She said back when only a handful of chapters was out that finding all the witches was the prologue.
That was horriblescans.
I'm working on it. Just need to figure some tiny quirks out.
I accidentally flooded nyaa.se's homepage a few days ago trying to fix my script.
But if you had not noticed, some series have not have horriblescans releases in weeks.
Good to know.
I don't read enough domestic comics to have anything to say to /co/ anymore. Also there is nothing wrong with them. You can have your /a/ and eat /co/ too.
She said that she would describe the manga as at the prologue stage after 4 volumes. She didn't explicitly say the witch hunt was a prologue, shit didn't start hitting the fan until volume 5 or 6 anyway.
Fuck y'all. I loved the use of ＢＯＬＤ and gratuitous localization of profane colloquialisms.
That was before the last arc, which should have been the final arc, ended.
Brb praying for axe.
>gratuitous localization of profane colloquialisms.
That's shit translation. Only groups like gg and Commie think that's a good thing.
Maybe. Me, personally, I don't think I'd enjoy it as much without lines like "I'll fucking cut you, bitch", etc.
gg and Commie do it wrong.
So what's different this time around?
7 new bitches that will want Yamada's dick.
Is he gonna kiss them?
>implying the series wasn't going to be run into the ground just like yankee kun to megane chan
this is your first rodeo, i see
He no longer has that power he has to take it to the next level which is anal
Well that's certainly a jump.
I read it for delicious Shiraishi. Nothing more, nothing less.
Didn't realize the cool factor Yamada had was actually a facade created by Mahou-X. Crunchy makes the series bland as hell.
But the side characters are way more interesting and have better bodies.
The way Mahou was doing it though gave a very natural feel to it. Commie and GG just force in meme bullshit with a couple of swears to make it "localized". There's a difference in quality.
To be honest, I wasn't expecting a whole do-over of the witch hunt, but I was expecting it to be prolonged some more with possible harem hijinks or something. Instead we get more witches.
Honestly, I would have preferred an ending with the whole relationship chapter with Shiraishi, but it is what it is.
Mahou still isn't doing a good translation though. It's only "cooler" because they make it sound neater for, well, people like /a/.
Although I agree with the oringal claim THAT the unnecessary BOLDED text was bothersome, I really didn't find many problems with the way mahou did it. Explain to me what you mean by them not doing it properly, I'm genuinely curious as to why you believe so? I mean, do you enjoy the robotic translations through CR?
Not him, but I do. I prefer it over added personality (read cussing).
What makes you say that's added personality though. Cussing in itself doesn't completely alter a person's personality, it just acts as a form of emphasis to their opinions. I mean, I see what you mean, but I don't think you need to read into the character by the means of his swearing as an object of his actions.Personally, the cussing and what not helped me personify the story and immerse myself in it, similar to a novel. But, to each his own, yeah?
You...can read and compare Mahou to CR. The latter is closer to the source and at least tries to follow most of the syntax. On the other hand, the former is liberal and emphasis on colloquial speech comparable to English teen speak culture. Mahou takes liberty to paint in personalities, behavior, gestures, and such through how a character speak. CR localizes, but don't do it to that degree and not to the extend where it emphasizes on being colloquial, so their work is closer to how the characters actually are like.
Sound argument, understandable. As I said >>101127133 The way Mahou did it just sort of enchanted me and helped me read the story a little more naturally. I guess I can see what you mean by adding to their character and altering them somewhat, but I don't think it creates a great deal of a difference personality wise. But hell, that's just me.
So long as there isn't forced drama that splits Shiraishi and Yamada up, this arc could be good.
I-I mean they could develop their relationship further alongside the main witch plotline instead of falling victim to forced drama, r-right?
Does fucking Itou start being awesome again or has this completely gone to the dogs?
More like damn near everyone is going to irrelevant now with a new cast of characters.
This manga should have ended when Yamada and Shiraishi became a couple. All this new witches will definitely create some drama at some point because some (or even all) will develop feelings for Yamada and even end up kissing him for some reason or another.
Having a girlfriend but still kissing other girls is fucking despicable. Downplaying the kisses as 'can't be helped' because Yamada is the MC and his powers are necessary is bullshit.
Fuck this shitty manga.
Wait, he's still going around and kissing?
No he hasn't been going around kissing anyone since being with Shiraishi but the new chapter reveals there are 7 new witches so we don't know what's gonna happen next.
If dropping this and never suggesting this to anyone ever again is happy. Then yes.
CR is professional as well.
Now it's the harem manga /a/ always want. Misunderstandings are solved on next page. MC has relationship. However, everybody is dissatisfied with it.
All I want is more Miyamura.
I saw it coming. Wouldn't be what the title said without 7 witches now, don't you think?
It really should have ended with the witch powers disappearing and Shiraishi winning da Yamada.
Now it just feels like it's being milked, and you simply can't enjoy the story as much, even if there isn't a drop in quality.
Plus it looks like it's turning into haremshit, which actually pisses me off more than if it was a harem from the start, because the MC and heroine are already in a relationship.
Where'd you get the good rip?
Like most other people have said, I feel it should have ended when everything got resolved and Yamada got together with Shiraishi - I can't imagine it doing anything but drag on needlessly at this point. Not to mention CR has the manga now - that was the last nail in the coffin for me. Dropped. It was s nice ride while it lasted, though.
I like Tamaki
I suggest you should use some linkify user script then maybe you are called fagot less often.
Eh, I'm glad this is continuing. The whole magic setting of the series hasn't been explained yet and it kept coming up in the past through that notebook they were all going after.
It got rid of less interesting characters and I prefer Tamaki/Nene to Itou and fries.
Tempura guy never got to be relevant past the tempura arc.
Also true for archer girl and glasses witch
I miss Itou.
She was at her best when in love with Yamada, and she can't do that anymore.
