>the anime club
I've been at uni for a couple years now. Last year the anime society was great. Each week they 3 episodes from 2 shows, the choices were perfectly balanced, the shows were top quality and varied. They're also the sci-fi society too and while I didn't go much they had a great range there too.
New committee for this year, everything is sub-par entry level shit. The emails you get each week saying what's on are in weeaboo speak. I wish I had gone more last year before the pleb patrol took over.
There is no anime club at my Uni, they died out because no members.
I hate watching anime with other people in general.
I enjoy it far more on my own..
>your uni's anime club is showing Free
Revive it, anon.
I like talking about it with people, although I'm not friends with too many anime watchers. Generally I enjoy discussions on /a/. But yes, I'd rather watch it by myself as well. I'm the same way with live action film/series.
This. I like talking about it to people without add though since most of the people in the anime club would go crazy and hyper when you talk anime with them.
Anime Club at my Uni was bearable, screenings had an average/decent rotation of each genre without anymore than one or two people disliking other's taste in shows. Then it went to utter shit when SnK blew up in popularity and the members almost doubled in 1 month.
>not being the kaicho of anime club
>not strolling around with your dakimura
>not blasting anime ops and eds
>not wearing anime clothing
step up senpais
Is that you, Kevin?
