>Kaiji arc 4
>10 volumes out in Japan
>Only 3 volumes have been scanlated
>50 days since the last update
Why do translators have such shitty taste?
I'm tempted to hire one of those Doujin translators to have a go at this
God, I hope they don't animate volume 3
The Mahjong shit for 26 episodes is too much to take
They're literally just sitting at a table for 100 champters
>not wanting a proper animation of this.
The group doing it does already do a lot, but i question if it takes THAT long to translate a chapter of anything. Every manga i've ever picked up is translated very slowly.
The whole arc would be better as series of 3 OVA's or something.
The start with Kaiji as a loser might be fun to see and the whole set up
All the events are pretty cool, just the actual fucking game, man
>he doesn't like mahjong
Give me 100 episodes.
>not wanting 5 episodes dedicated to Kaiji dropping his fucking tiles like a fuckign retard.
Oh shit, kaiji come the fuck on you motherfucker.
From what I can tell, they release a batch of 4-5 chapters every 1 and a half months
So that's maybe like 10 days per chapter? 2 pages a day?
Because translating ZAWA ZAWA ZAWA is so fucking time consuming
I would totally watch a whole series of minefield, but maybe implementing some of part 4 in an animated series would do better
More like 2 chapters every month
What U don't like is Kaiji thinking to himself for 20 minutes before making every move
I gave up on it. It is not like there's anything super interesting going on.
It is not worth the wait.
What a strange typo, replace U with I
What might be 20 pages in manga could be like 2 minutes in anime, it's probably not going to be that bad. Akagi condensed pretty well from the manga.
Well, Kaiji isn't playing a gamble right now, so they're obviously leading up to that
And the Chairman's son is gonna reveal some kind of twist to make point to Kaiji (about friendship and betrayal)
>kaiji S3 will never exist
>akagi S2 will never exist
>there will never be an adaption for kurosawa
I'll never understand why sales are so terrible
Story > Art
>Well, Kaiji isn't playing a gamble right now, so they're obviously leading up to that
They are? From the summaries I've read, it's still stupid asians pressing buttons until vol. 8.
Do they die? Do they start betraying each other?
.........well then there's going to be some kind of side gamble between Kaiji and the Chairman's son
The Asian trio are going to have some incentive to betray each other and Kaiji has to believe in their friendship or something
It's pretty easy to figure out what the "incentive" is if you pay attention to the game's rules.
Looks like I'll be reading through that chapter again
ah, I see it now
Refusing to free the hostages will get them killed but you still get to keep the money
Fuck, Fukumoto is brilliant
They'd rather continue translating the Washizu arc where nothing happens.
I find it hard to believe that Zero/Akagi have as many fans as Kaiji
Is Washizu game over already?
