Hey, /a/, I just finished watching Redline and JESUS HOLY FUCKING SHIT, ITS MELT-YOUR-GODDAMN-BRAINS-OUT AWESOME!!! DAT ANIMATION, DAT SOUNDTRACK, DEM CARS, DEM TITS, DEM GIANT MONSTERS, AND DAT ENDING!!! Holy sonuva--why haven't I watched this movie before and only heard about it literally a few hours ago?! This is some high-octane crazy crack bathsalts wackiness that needs to be watched!
...whew, I need to calm down there. I'm still feeling the hype even after an hour passed when I finished watching the movie. Pic-related: me watching the climax of it all. Redline is cuhrayzee as fuck.
Too bad about all those animator who died making it.
The ending was unsatisfying, there was only 2 good parts of the whole movie, everything else is "not racing, not interesting".
...Wait, what?! They all died?! What happened?
Worked to death.
>no prequel about MachineHead's life and his first Redline's victory
>and only heard about it literally a few hours ago?!
maybe being older than12 years old would have helped
Mandatory Machinehead-is-Sonoshee's-dad post.
well they WERE going to meet at the restaurant
There was a prequel, although I forget if it had the very first victory of his there. It certainly was a montage of his 'bulking up' from previous Redline wins.q
you mean the short part on the news?
PLATINUM NITRO CHARGE
The non-racing bits were alright, but they were sorely overshadowed by the Yellow- and Redline races. Those parts were awesome and the Redline race went full wacky as it went on. Goddamn!
Damn, that sucks. I guess they "literally" put their blood, sweat, tears, and soul into this movie.
...I'm actually going to turn 22 in a couple of months...sorry...
Damn, this OST is going to keep me up and I have shit to do in the morning. Oh well, dat Machinehead!
You speak as though you belong somewhere else, so please be polite to us all and go back to the shit stain you were conceived prior.
Or better yet, I can compose myself and speak properly and with care. Anyway, back on topic--Redline has left an incredible impression on me and I am glad that I watched it.
The other guy was joking. Also, there's a pilot version that had some really cool action that they never used for the actual film.
Oh, phew. That guy really yanked my chain, eh?
Thank you for posting the link to the pilot! It was great and I thoroughly enjoyed it!
Also, 2 of the minor characters in Redline are characters from another work of the director called Trava Fist Planet. Relatively short, and though not too action-heavy, it's still quite stylish.
Not bad. The ending was pretty neat and a tad funny. Again, thanks for the video!
