Why do I enjoy watching such shitty shows?
>>
>I enjoy watching shitty shows
I just don't understand people like you. Accept the fact that you think the show is good and stop the denial.

How is this show good?

Very.

Better questions, can you define good?

Media is created to entertain, it fulfilled it's purpose.
>>
>>101075012
That's not the point. The point is that, if you enjoy it, it has succeeded as an entertainment. Therefore it is a good entertainment.

People like you so insecure that they openly admit they have shit taste disgust me.
>>
>>101075105
There's a difference between judging a show critically and by its entertainment value.
>>
>>101075209
You cannot deny that Troll 2 or The Room are shit films, but millions of people enjoy them because they are entertained by how bad they are. That doesn't make them good films.
>>
>>101075209
By that logic, mass produced pop is good too.
>>

>because they are entertained by how bad they are
People who enjoy things "ironically" or because it's "so bad it's good" are just in denial about their shit taste.

>>101075377
There's a distinction you're missing. If an entertainment entertains an individual, then that individual thinks it's good. They should say "I think x is good" or simply "x is good."
However, this is just one person's opinion. Even if many people enjoy a thing and think it is good doesn't mean you will think it is good.

Therefore, even though millions of people love Taylor Swift and think she's great, I can say "Taylor Swift is a shitty artist," and be telling the truth.

I'm actually a big fan of Masato Hisa. He can take a completely ridiculous premise and make it work. I think his works are perfect mixture of over-the-top insanity and serious emotional moments. Like that chapter in Jabberwocky when Sabata saves Lily and tells her that he will always save her no matter what. And then they shoot triceratops into a zeppelin using the tower of Pisa as a cannon. I just love it.
