Has there ever been a spin-off anime as completely different from the original as this?
Even SoulTaker --> Nurse Witch Komugi isn't as jarringly different as this is.
Seriously how do you even
At least they're both comedies, but I'll certainly give you a few points for that one.
The show itself was no more than blandly pleasant, but damn if I don't love this song.
I prefer this one.
Sawashiro should have more loli roles. The last proper one I remember hearing was in picture related.
Is that from one of the seasonal specials? I don't remember it, and its longer than an entire main series episode.
It's from Nyo.
I'm not sure if I ever watched Nyo.
Panyo Panyo was terrible, so I suspect I may have just stopped after watching some of that.
The Nanoha series is pretty different than the VN it came out of.
Nyo is pretty much the best thing after the original series and specials. It doesn't have much of the old cast, but the comedy and overall pacing is similar enough.
You can't beat the originals, though. They really should have kept Abarenbou in all iterations.
Speaking of Di Gi Charat songs, does a full version of the Akihabara song Dejiko sings in Summer Special 2000 01 exist?
First half of Nyo is shit, second half is quite nice.
Nyo remains largely unwatched because it got licensed and the fansubbers either stopped or got told to. People waited for the DVDs.
Then DVDs never came. When they did it took an eternity to get the 9 released out of 13 intended. I'll buy Sentai Filmworks' DVDs if they include the remaining episodes... in quality better than the current fansub.
My main gripe with the US DVDs is that they cut off the first OP because they couldn't be bothered to license the song. A farce similar to what happened (or was about to happen) with Eden of the East.
I wish Winter Garden had been at least 13 episodes. Puchiko was one fine woman. Then we only got to see Usada for two seconds. ;_;
If you watch Space Brothers, she voices just about every child that appears in the show.
Piyoko a best-pyo.
