What was the biggest twist in anime in your opinion or the one that caught you the most off guard /a/? For me it was when this guy planned to get the world to hate him, only for him to "die" (yes he's alive, he's dead whatever you think is true) uniting the world against one tyrannical ruler. Not to mention one of the sadder endings too imo
>watching and talking about sunrise unironically
When Itachi was a good guy.
He was my favorite character because of how dark, calm, collected, analyzing, and how he was ALWAYS right. He never made a wrong move and I wanted him to be the main bad guy somehow. He seemed so powerful, but then he had some stupid sickness. Then it was revealed he was in fact a good guy the whole time.
I didn't like it.
Maybe I was off my game but this one.
>watching any things ironically
i don`t know if it caught me off guard as i was expecting a big plot twist by that point but for me it was madoka ep 10, the show went from meh to masterpiece in just one episode

It may not be anime but it deserves to be mentioned.
FUCK NOT THIS AGAIN
Why the fuck are people so impressed with Lelouch's "plan/sacrifice"? It is just the fucking batman plot with robots.
I've been watching /reading since the mid 90s and that is still the most unexpected thing I've seen.
Something was coming, but still, holy shit.
What's my level if I know exactly where that's from?
What the fuck did you think was going to happen?
Did you somehow miss the the few episodes before?
Also pic related. I was already warned by /a/ and yet I still couldn't see it coming.
