This page confuses me, what does she mean by love being the "source of her despair"? I thought the power of love is what BREAKS negative things like that.
anyways, yukyuu thread
>sexy battlan girls
>fightan in the nude
yes, please, we need more of this.
her love probably gave their live so she can live forever
which sucks ass because you don't have your lover anymore and you live forever without them
I feel like there's a page missing between 4 and 5, the transition is too rough. Is that just me?
do google search. only finds this.
lol wow. not what i posted at all.
it was page out of kh2 manga with Pete on it when he goes back in time.
did you never read negima?
OP gave a hint in the last line
so after checking back to this page from a while back...
>fueled by love
Never seen that before.
it seems that her tattoo are actually related to her ability after all, since her position in the Numbers is #4. I had initially wondered if maybe it was a branding thing they did for pride or whatever, like arrancars.
why XIII though? is that like, her degree of immortalities left that she has to rely on or something, similar to how cats have 9 lives?
Ha. I get it.
XIII is the unlucky number in the west.
...wouldn't that indicate that she WAS cursed, then? seems weird for her power to be "holy" with an unlucky number... wouldn't VII have made more sense with that?
yeah, while it ran. and while the art did instantly remind me of it. I don't ever recall this part happening.
>I don't ever recall this part happening.
that's because it didn't, ever.
>the art did instantly remind me of it.
and why do you think that is? you're almost there anon.
>her love probably gave their live so she can live forever
something like this, someone who loved her made some sort of holy pact for her to live forever
I get the feeling it was a typical line where Ken was intentionally being vague that MS butchered.
so it WAS done by a sadist?
who wants to live forever without their lover, and still able to feel pain even though there's no injury?
You are now aware that Karin is somewhere between 500 and 600 years old.
wouldn't surprise me, MS cannot into subtlety.
>500-600 years old
>touts a sense of justice by protecting people
>was around/alive during the events of Negima
>didn't get involved at all
is it alright for me to be mad at this?
I doubt it was done for sadistic purposes, just someone with an overbearing 'love'.
>is it alright for me to be mad at this?
No, because most of Negima either happened in Mahora or on Mars.
At least Ken still knows how to make hot women and action scenes.
My memory may be fuzzy, but I thought some of the Mahora-side events were world-threatening at one point? Maybe I'm misremembering, it's been so long.
The Mahora event's weren't publicly world-threatening, they were all dressed up as special events put on by the school.
The only one that was potentially world threatening was letting the world know about magic, but that was a contained incident that would become larger.
I wonder if yukyuus celebrate birthdays, if only to have something in life worth looking forward to. Who doesn't love cake?
> I thought the power of love is what BREAKS negative things like that.
you clearly haven't watched rebellion yet
>The source of my despair isn't curses, it's love!
I don't watch mahou shoujo ever since that one time I couldn't make it through Nanoha, what's the joke here?
Her currently morality probably has a lot to do with Uq Holder. Before that, she might not have been in-the-know on major events, just suffering her lonely immortality all alone somewhere.
I mean, she's still kinda dark now, and that's after decades of having immortal comrades. Also, her type of immortality would pretty much have required keeping a low profile and moving every couple years.
That... yeah, I think I could accept that. She does seem rather troubled, which would explain why she's unintentionally bitchy at times. It would also explain why she's so possessive over Eva, who would theoretically be the one to give her "life" a purpose.
In Madoka Magica, magical girls are born from wishes and fueled by hope. If they use up all of their hope before they can replenish it, they curse the world and become witches.
Well, in the sequel to the series, the character Homura exhausts her hope and is about to become a witch. However, instead of cursing the world and succumbing to despair, she embraces despair in order to protect the girl she loves, Madoka. This turns her into something similar to a witch but much more powerful--a devil, in her words.
