ITT: your Fate servant and class.
Shiki as Assassin
Hermes Trismegistus as Caster.
I win by default.
Hitler would make an awesome Caster class. Or Archer class.
Not so noble phantasm: Auschwitz Birkenau
Good old Nibelungen:)
My melanin-enriched relative.
Ma sacre toux.
President Obama as Assassin
Able to wiretap all electronics to find exactly where the other masters are followed by his other noble phantasm of an MQ-9 Reaper drone to kill them
Assassin. Sure, he'll be a Fake one, but, damn if he won't be stylish.
CASTER (Real Name: John Dee)
The Mage’s Association first began to form in the Middle Ages, coalescing from already-extant covens into an organization that aimed to drift apart from mundane society, preserving magic from an inevitable decline. The Sea of Astray and the Giant’s Pit were founded in this era, as well as the Clock Tower, which was then a fledgling mystic establishment in England, and is now the centre of the Mage’s Association. The man largely responsible for that change was John Dee, born some decades after the end of the Middle Ages to a minor magus family.
Dee mastered mundane subjects such as mathematics and astronomy as easily as he devoured his family’s mystical knowledge, saw no immediate distinction between the two; by his 20s he was lecturing to crowded halls in the University of Paris. This willingness to become involved in the world outside of his Workshop brought him access to all manner of resources, a strategy that would be adopted by many “lesser” magi or secondary heirs in later generations. It was Dee who chose the coronation date for the Virgin Queen, establishing links between the Royal Family and the Clock Tower that exist to this day, and he even encouraged the growth of the Empire, feeding his research with relics and texts from distant lands.
In his pursuit of the Root, Dee developed a homunculus capable of propelling its unconscious mind beyond Alaya, allowing it to regurgitate snatches of cosmic white noise from behind the reality-bubble of the World. He worked alongside this pseudohuman for years to develop his Enochian language, only for it to be corrupted by material influences and conspire with his enemies. It led him on a wild goose chase in search of antediluvian relics for six years, and when Dee returned to England, he found his Workshop ransacked, and his remaining library placed under a curse that sapped his vitality. He died alone and babbling, the father of the next age of Magecraft.
Kurt Knispel as Tank commander
Archer: My friend James who used to live down the street in my old neighborhood.
I remember his dad used to take him hunting and one time he claimed to have shot a deer with a crossbow. Don't know if that's true or not, but either way I think he qualifies.
Muhammad as Assassin
Hector of Troy - Rider
Anders Behring Breivik as beserker
Jack the Ripper as Caster.
Strength E, Endurance E, Agility E
Mana A, Luck B, N.Phantasm B++
Item Construction B – Alchemy was not Dee’s strongest suit, but he greatly advanced the crafting of scrying equipment.
Territory Creation B+ – Dee is able to create a superior Workshop, or swiftly establish temporary ones.
Magecraft A+ – A mortal magus who helped mold the Mage’s Association, Caster lacks the near-sorcery of the Divine Age. Instead, he is a master of almost all forms of “modern” thaumaturgy, particularly manipulating spirits.
Enochian Tongue B+ – Dee’s primary study was reconstructing Celestial Speech through Talbot, his homunculus. He believed this language was used to create the universe within which Worlds exist, distinct from Divine Words or Unified Language. Caster’s work is incomplete, but even this flawed tongue can be used to produce “perpetual sacraments”, rituals that administer themselves with no input.
Tezcatlipoca: Speculation on Shadows (A)
An obsidian mirror encircled by snarling jaguars, this Noble Phantasm was a gift from Dee's queen, who stole it from the Spanish as El Draque. The mirror is a gate to another world, a plane of black crystal and mist. It has similar properties to a Reality Marble, an echo of an older world. Dee can alter the mirror’s shape, shrinking or expanding it. He can also create sub-mirrors, which are limited by available prana.
Mortlake Library: Choirs Bound in Ink (C++)
Dee’s designs for a British library and museum were not realized in his lifetime, but his own collection was vast enough. Manifested as a single tome, this artifact includes all the texts ever associated with Dee. This codex allows him to instantly understand any observed phenomena, regardless of prior experience; the information simply appears within the tome. Those processes reproducible by his thaumaturgy are incorporated into the Magecraft skill.
nigga gored gods and his life didn't end in tragedy. A winning choice for sure.
you have already lost
Jesus Christ as Caster
Sigurd as Rider or Berserker
Einzbern tier plans like that always backfire somehow
William Wallace as Saber.
>No Alfred Nobel
>No Samuel Colt
>No Gustavus Adolphus
who the hell made this list anyway?
nice skinny jeans, fag
Diomedes would have at least C luck. Luck of the irish does not apply here.
Rider, Erwin 'the desert fox' Rommel
Berserker - Ron Jeremy
Ya blew it
You just summoned lancer in the grail war. What do you do?
No, he'd be a Caster, he has a magic wand
Cripple a lot of rabbits.
H. P. Lovecraft.
Use command spells to order lancer to stay put/never come near me. Buy a one-way ticket to the opposite side of the world and get the fuck out because I've already lost.
John Rambo as Archer
Leonidas as Berserker.
Fleece Johnson as a lancer
Bruce Willis as Berserk
He will die at the end
Simo Häyhä a.k.a. "The White Death" as Archer
Anyone who thinks they can get a better archer is clearly incorrect.
I see what you did there.
or Carlos Hathcock
You realize that the majority of Simo's kills were with a rifle with no scope right in heavy winter conditions?
You can't really compare 1940 and 1975 technology, of course there have been longer shots since then.
Has Harrison ever stopped an entire Red Army armor column single handedly?
Spirit: Simo Häyhä (White Death)
N. Phantasm: A
Independent Action: A+
Presence Concealment: EX
Military Tactics: EX
Demonic Defender of the State: EX
M/28-30 ”Pystykorva”: A
Something like this.
This is b8.
Am I fighting against an entire Red Army armor column? No.
I'd take the guy who brings an M2 into the fight instead of a nugget when fighting for the Grail
that's not a picture of Simo, look at the rifle
>"Master what do you mean you don't want me anywhere near you! I thought we were going to win the grail as a team and accomplish our goals!"
>I'd take the guy who brings an M2 into the fight instead of a nugget when fighting for the Grail
>implying weapon of choice matters in a mystic heroic soul war
What weapon you bring is sort of irrelevant with the power scaling here, most likely both their weapons would be noble phantasms.
Nope. I unfortunately summoned a loser, so I'm going to cut my losses before I lose my life.
Colonel Paul Tibbits, archer.
just deciding who you summon is easy.
lets make it more difficult - tell us which item you use and how you aqcuire it.
fakes possible if you have the right item
>Mass produced gun
You dummy. If you want a gun guy to be a hero his Noble Phantasm's got to be a special shooting technique or something. Guns can't heroic in nasuland.
Santa Claus as raider.
Spirit: Simo Häyhä (White Death)
N. Phantasm: A
Man took a bullet through the head after all.
There better be a lot of answers involving Oceans 11 style museum heists.
Adolf Hitler as Caster
Creates a reality marble that traps other heroic spirits in Auschwitz
But a better one would probably be something like "Winter War", which would conceal him within a blizzard only he doesn't feel the cold for.
Peter North is archer
>Teddy Roosevelt as Berserker
How about Servants based off your culture?
What type of Servant would Cyrus the Great be?
Idi Amin as caster
well then again those rough riders didnt have many horses on cuba did they?
Guys, what if modern Servants have a new stat that allows the weapon they are currently wielding to be at par with a Noble Phantasm?
If that's the case he's more of an assassin rather than an archer
Noble Phantasm: White-Hispanic
Not really. It's not all that different from how Robin Hood can use Yew Bow to grow a forest for himself to fight in or Emiya can use a reality marble. Terrain Control isn't really an assassin thing.
Attila the Hun: Rider
Dunno, I never watched Fate, he obviously has potential.
You should also realize that Simo had it easy when compared to other famous snipers. He worked on home turf, in large open spaces against a poorly trained and panicky enemy with deficient leadership.
Hathcock or soviet snipers like Pavlichenko or Surkov faced much harsher conditions.
Also if this is the grail war, Zaytsev is by far the most famous sniper among the general populace, even if they only know him as "that Russian dude who shot a lot of Germans in Stalingrad and had sex with Rachel Weisz."
If I had to pick I'd go with Pavlichenko as Archer because having a female servant means your chances of winning go up. Has there even been any route or story about the grail war where a male servant wins?
>implying the Fake ones aren't better by miles
Li Shuwen was the tits, better still, actually used as an Assassin until forced otherwise.
William Tell as Archer. I get the feeling he'd have a bomb-ass NP.
I'd consider Gilgamesh the winner of the fourth, personally.
Has there every been a route or story about the grail where anybody wins?
If you're talking about stuff like Extra (which I haven't played), I know the player can pick a male servant there as well.
Of course, this is all moot because Fate turns heroes into little girls just for the hell of it, so no matter who you pick, you might end up with a female servant.
I don't think there was a winner.
>lance a lot
I thought I read once that Tell was Archer for the 2nd Grail War. But I've never been able to find that statement, so I'm probably wrong. He'd be a great servant either way.
You didn't summon a loser. You summoned one of the noblest heroes of the war. When he dies, it'll be your fault for either being a complete dick, or being incompetent.
Actually, at the end of the apple story, he had another arrow hidden that he was going to shoot the other guy in the heart with if he fucked up the first shot. Maybe that could act like a long range Gae Bolg.
Lancer: Hardo Gay
Da Vinci or Shakespeare as Archer.
>Shakespeare is already the Caster of the Red Faction on Fate/Apocrypha
Damn, beat me to it
Guess he could also be a good Berserker or - considering First Blood - even an Assassin.
>the Frankenstein of Fate
How is this allowed?
This dude knows what's up.
learn who the biggest badass in the illiad was
St George as either Lancer or Rider
Why haven't we gotten a Da Vinci yet? I think he'd make a pretty cool Servant.
He would be a Caster, obviously.
Queen Himiko of Yamatai
He was going to be in fate/apocrypha, but he was replaced for some reason. He had a design and everything.
