Is Archer a real Hero now?
I mean, think about it like this: a hero is someone venerated as like unto a god. He didn't get that in his world, so he wasn't a real Hero for the events of F/SN. However, we here at /a/ DO venerate him, to the point of even inventing a new word to describe our sense of awe regarding him. He has the worship of thousands pouring into him. Thus, has /a/ made Archer into a real Hero?
Not sure it works that way...
What's so special about being a Heroic Spirit anyway? They're trapped in the Throne of Heroes for all eternity!
I wonder if they all do card games sometimes...
I don't think we have enough people to do that.
I think the Throne is just a database. Not a literal plane of existence.
Well, it's not just /a/, he's venerated through fanart all across the internet. There has to be more people who know of him than, say, Medea.
So, they are literally living in the database?
What class would Moot be summoned under?
Ahchah is a hero in my heart.
I thought it contained their actual souls though.
Berserker. His perpetual rage toward the newfag menace would propel his mighty banhammer with the force of a based god!
No. I hate the character and I'll tell you why.
Archer's origins as a hero are ridiculous and the whole Emiya/Archer thing was one of the primary reasons I dropped the F/SN anime. I never played the VN so maybe it's more tolerable. Maybe it's all the anime's fault, but I seriously cannot fucking stand Emiya.
I didn't want to believe that the plot could become so miserably contrived, but the more I watched the more apparent it became that I was witnessing a train wreck. You start off with the tired old "I'm just your (slightly above) average, typical Japanese high school student until one day..." cookie cutter outline. That's fine, I'm not some cynical bastard that would turn my nose up just because of that. Then suddenly he develops superpowers that rivaled what were supposed to be these legendary supernatural warriors gathered from throughout history. Why? So that he could rescue his poor helpless waifu. This character was supposed to be the baddest of the badass servants, winner of the Fourth War, but suddenly she's a useless jobber for the aforementioned Japanese high school student.
Why is this allowed? No, really - why? This kid can hang tough with a motherfucking rampaging Hercules after about a week or two of training. I HATE that kind of shit. This isn't even going into his Archer persona. The goddamn Archer hero, really? Why Archer? Well he used to be in the Archery club for a little while for shits and giggles and of course was better at it than the dedicated club members, so why not?
I'll tell you why not, because it's fucking DUMB. Finally a little while after Sakura turned evil MUH DARKNESS and Saber had to be rescued for about the third or fourth time I just couldn't do it anymore.
So in short, in reply to your statement about his veneration. I can only speak for myself, but no. Hell no.
>never played the VN
There's your problem.
Anon go read the VN.
Anime is shit, VN is god-tier. Read the VN.
Why do people think you're even entitled to an opinion? Secondhand knowledge and the anime? I honestly hope every person like this is a troll.
>I never played the VN so maybe
You could have written this at the bottom of your post, at least I would've read it entirely.
>Is Archer a real Hero now?
In Extra he becomes a true heroic spirit; he's the heroic spirit who represents all nameless heroes that were never rewarded or praised for their efforts, which is poetic for him. It's the reason he's listed as Nameless in the game, because the fact that he has no name is proof of his newfound status.
Also his LCK is now D
CCC is the best thing Nasu has ever written
>Becomes representation of nameless heroes worldwide
>Luck raises 1 rank
>Gains new fake Excalibur
I can imagine there's more than a few heroic spirits out there who must be seriously pissed off, with Cu being the first.
I don't care who you are, I'd beat the living shit out of you even if you were my own mother, faggot.
I'm saying the truth though, not like you couldn't know since you never read one line by Nasu.
You just read some Takajun and your only knowledge of CCC come from summaries and shit
That's only label Mooncell slapped onto a record of him. In the actual throne actual Archer is always the same Counterguardian.
I don't know. But his pants are certainly a legend in and of itself
>I never played the VN
Stopped reading here, anyone else should.
