>[HorribleSubs] Yowamushi Pedal - 16 [480p].mkv
Get in here pedalbros.
Why didn't the 2chan thread have caps?
will we see more of perm senpai?
720p can't come soon enough.
It's tea time.
Come on 720p. Hurry up
And silent-senpai speaks.
Why is Onoda so cute?
It's the glasses.
>720p delayed this long
In today's after credit segment, he's especially cute.
>[HorribleSubs] Yowamushi Pedal - 16 [720p].mkv
Its on guys.
The wait today was awful, I always go on the 2chan thread during my lunch break and with no images there wasn't much to look at.
The moonlanders referring to T2 as Seaweed-kun and Kitaro was pretty funny though.
Waiting for the download to finish, is the suffering today? I don't think I'm ready.
>ETA 3 mins
It's almost tea time.
Teshima's suffering starts at the end, probably will continue next episode.
Fuck this episode I wanted the second years to win so bad. To hell with Onoda and his friendship power.
Why is he so perfect?
I can't handle this
At this rate they're going to find a Hime jersey in the back of his closet
Nice that they kept the blush, it's easy to not notice.
Isn't the sales for this show decent? Why does nobody ever talk about it?
It's sports. A lot of people dislike sports shows.
Nobody appreciates the fun and joy of cycling.
why are cyclists so beta? I could post hundreds of youtube videos like this.
That scene was so cute.
Imaizui is not so normalfag anymore
A lot of people just watch anime that has cute girls in it.
Looks good on him.
Fuck I miss this thread every week. NOT THIS TIME!
Who NARUKO here? Onoda bros can come too. :3
Because no cute girls doing cute things.
Also most plebs ride motorbikes or drive cars.
I even ride my bike in winter. I fucking love this show, reignited my flame about bicycles.
When will she be back?
prefer her friend
>Not liking best girl
holy shit i can't take this
I wasn't prepared for drama
hold me yowabros
but this random friendship power is total bullshit tho
Perm sempai is a fucking faggot.
Don't cry for him at the end anon.
Step up kouhai
>Who NARUKO here?
Here. I love him since he is a male Kyouko.
I want Onoda to actually win. Come on.
Also. Never watched a sports anime in my life. Picked this up because it sounded funny. It is funny and it's great. I love it.
>Never watched a sports anime in my life.
The next to watch are:
- Hikaru no Go
- Hajime no Ippo
What about kuroko no basuke? I know a friend who watches it. That's pretty famous right?
It's garbage. Try Ookiku Furikabutte.
Aoyagi is a qt, I like how they made his voice kind of stuttery
Famous if you have a boner for men
It's shit. It's Dragonball Z tier "muh powerlevels" rather than proper sports.
>What about kuroko no basuke?
Didn't watch it, yet. It's too new, and therefore still popular, and I hate popular things. I'll watch it in two or three years.
This. Good animation and it's fun.
Ah, alright. I'll add these to my list
So it's like if the cast of Free did Kuroko then? The worst thing I ever watched for gay things was Kimi to boku(?) about these 4 guys and one was effeminate and wanted dicking by everyone. I only ever watched the first ep and a half. It was pretty shit.
Anyways, I'll get these on the list.
Their tears are delicious.
Kuroko is your normal terrible powerlevel shounen, but with the powerlevels applied to basketball instead of fights.
watch cross game and daiya no ace.
What's worse, Kuroko or Mila Superstar?
I'm not ready.
>December 7, 1969 – November 28, 1971
This is some ancient anime right here
Yes, but the question wasn't serious.
Wait, what the fuck, it's from 1969? What??
Mila was my first waifu when 4chan didn't even exist yet. :3
Anyone here waiting for Haikyuu next season?
those delicious thighs
Yeah man the manga is great, looking forward to seeing it animated. That timeslot and cast it's gonna be a big deal.
It's pretty sad once you really think about it. They wanted to show their senpai how much stronger they became through his training and their teamwork, but their one chance of glory with him is destroyed by a bunch of special snowflake freshman.
When's it airing? Evening or late night?
1ST or 2nd op pedalbros
1st. The 2nd one is also good.
The 1st ending is better than the 2nd as the 2nd is largely forgettable.
The second one, but both of them are great.
5pm on Sundays, which is primetime
I wish this episode had covered a little more, but it was still pretty good.
Next time I go out for a ride I think I may just time myself to see how long I can sustain a sprint...
>not singing Hime Hime while you sprint
>learn to bike the non-faggot way, faggot.
No, in all seriousness. I really wanted to do this after watching. How impressionable am I?
I think it should've ended right when Aoyagi reappears, or at least when they could hear him coming up the hill.
Are we gonna get Hime Hime Onoda ver. on the OST?
(almost) all the boys are surprisingly good but naruko is mai hosbando.
There's a bad looped version youtube for 10minutes. I must have listened to it about 8 times though, so
>(almost) all the boys are surprisingly good
All the pedals are great.
Except Hiroshima a shit
This guy is also giving me weird vibes but he's only been around for like, three panels.
Would Chihayafuru be classed as a sport anime?
Haven't gotten that far yet, where are you getting chapters past vol 31?
>he literally told them to try and do their best to go over him, because it's THE LAST LAP
>he didn't continue full speed, just in case his fictional retarded 40 seconds are actually more
It was very stupid.
The amount of gay in this thread is disgusting.
Arakita is best pedal though.
I'm pretty sure it's classified as sports, but I couldn't get past the first episode.
Have they announced a third season yet?
>going into sports threads
>not expecting gay
>Hikaru no Go
You don't watch it. You read it.
Also Big Windup is the best sports anime/manga.
dat sum Sugimoto?
The HnG anime was exceppent (partly due to its good direction and music).
Reminder that the OVA is still not subbed.
Same fucking VA.
>Arakita is best pedal though.
The OVA is a very simple story, you can figure out what's going on without understanding a word.
The one and only
You don't play sports. Magical card games aren't a sport, just a game. Fuck off.
I'm in the same boat as you. Never seen a sports anime in my life. then I see this one and it's almost AOTS to me. Am I that much of a pleb?
Catch up to Ace of Diamond. Not that good at the beginning, since it starts pretty generic, but when it picks up it's own story and characters it gets pretty interesting. Or at least is for now (I am an animefag for it).
>never seen a sports anime in my life
>am I a pleb
Ace of Diamond got so much better when Chris-senpai was introduced.
Why do these episodes go so fast. I swear it feels like a 20min episode was done in 10 minutes.
I want this to happen already.
He feels like a final boss kind of guy, probably near the end of the anime ;_;
Anyone else know a cycling anime/manga like Pedal? I've already read Over drive.
Mohiro Kitoh has one, I don't remember the name though.
There's that anime film about Andalusia and cycling and its sequel
Do you sing in the bath?
>2014 not taking a shower
>not rewarding yourself with a hot soak every now and then
Noririn is another cycling manga, it's more /n/ than /sp/ though. You could also read Unidentified Cycling Object, it's a very short manga by Yoshitoshi ABe.
And yeah, if you've not seen Summer in Andalucia and it's sequel (Wataridori), those are really good, watch them!
it's just that fucking good.
Why does this show have so many great sonfus? I want to adopt them all.
If it makes you think any higher of the anime he actually counts aloud in the manga. Onoda could've just thought "fuck it, I'll just pass him after he gets to zero"
If he didn't bring up the timing their plan might have succeeded.
Wait till you see all the baby fanart
Is it true that /n/ has better pedal threads than /a/?
I don't know seems alright to me. >>616128
Some weeks yes, some weeks no. This week there's not much YowaPeda discussion on /n/
>locked out elbows
I seriously hope you cyclists don't do this.
Hey /a/, I'm kind of catching up now but I have a question, Is someone from the Slam Dunk staff working in Yowamushi? There's this song in episode 9 that sounds quite similar to one in Slam Dunk so it got me wondering.
Doesn't look like it
I see, maybe it's just a coincidence.
Well, just ordered a road bike from my local shop that should be coming in by the end of the week. I really want to get riding as soon as I can, but I'd rather not go until there are at least above freezing temperatures. Still need to get all the gear too.
It's tumbling down.
This is bullshit. He worked his ass off for MC always being the best.
Also, why isn't it instilled in Onodas mind that he is guaranteed a fucking spot by the fact that his tires are extremely heavy? He's catching up to everyone left and fucking right.
Shonen plot armor.
Also Onoda is an idiot as Naruko has stated.
Why didn't the three of them just spread over the entire width of the road such that seaweed-kun can block at most one of them?
When does the full version of the opening come out?
It's not really bullshit, it's because Onoda has talent. This whole thing with the second years is that they are just ordinary guys and even if they work their asses off they can't beat people with true talent.
Though unlike Sakurasou, the people with talent also put in effort and work hard, so it's not as aggravating.
>This whole thing with the second years is that they are just ordinary guys and even if they work their asses off they can't beat people with true talent
What a horrible message.
>decide to look at some bikes online to possibly buy in the future
>small, medium, extra large frame
I don't know what I'm doing.
OP and ED, Feb 19.
But it's somewhat true.
Talent + hard work > Only hard work
Full version of Love Hime when
Probably either because of the timing on the track, or the fact that Perm has a lot more energy then them.
For those calling BS on Onoda overtaking him, they gave a visible indication that Perm was about to lose the rest of his energy, and he was overconfident in his own plan. Plus, Onoda went up the opposite side at the end. Now, if Naruko and Imaizumi also get ahead then I'd be kind of disappointed. I was actually thinking that the plan was going to be something like Naruko and Imaizumi turning off their lights and going behind Onoda, and then going up opposite sides to both pass at the same time. They even gave that indication that it was completely dark out already.
It's more along the lines of - your time will come. I'm also of the opinion that cold hard truths are better than fanciful delusions. Both of the 2nd year sempais knew and acknowledged their limitations and work hard to close the talent gap but it will not be enough if the other party also do what they do on top of having the talent.
/n/ may help you out there.
Come on now, not to this extreme. At these low levels, training should be the only factor. Natural potential matters when you're already world-class and pushing your body to the limit of what's possible. Now you might consider doping to make up for your missing "talent", but even doping isn't magic like Onoda's plot armor.
Cycling isn't a skill based sport, you can rely on talent in mahjong shows all you want, but leave it out of pedalling.
Are you motherfucking serious?
>Not factoring talent and potential into shounen
What the fuck are you doing? Also
>Cycling isn't a skill based sport
I don't even cycle but that's just insulting.
I fucking love the character designs of this show.
I like that the series has a lot of variety with the face shapes and eyes of its characters, even if you don't know the name of a character they're easy to identify.
Who is best BFF material and why is it Imaizumi?
Is the captain the best cyclist?
You can't wear underwear under cycling shorts, gotta protect dem important packages
>I don't even cycle but that's just insulting.
It's the truth, not an insult because willpower is also a very valuable trait. Training and persistence, knowing your body and looking at the power meter.
Sorry but if you think bicycle racing takes as much skill as gymnastics, you should get fucking outside once in a while.
Well, he kinda has a point, you know.
>Cycling is a doping based sport
Except for Yasutomo and Imaizumi who look like identical twins.
No shit it doesn't take as much skill as gymnastics, but it still takes skill. Every type of sport or form of competition takes skill.
All dat hotblood, husbando at first sight.
I still find it funny that with Shinkai the mangaka did a total 180 with his design and personality
His eyes and mouth are pretty different.
Though with the pompadour...
It's alright, but they basically have super powers. So it isn't really a proper basketball show, I still think it's pretty fun to watch though.
Ace of the Diamond is pretty good too, as is Ookiku Furikabutte.
I guess with them it's their personalities.
And Arakita'a tendency to make horse faces
Really want a decent soccer anime as well though.
Kinjou or Fukutomi?
But who was Mami-san?
area no kishi is actually not bad, if you can bear with the horribad english
>that first episode
I still haven't gotten around to starting episode 2 even though I really liked ep 1. Shit, it's been over a year now or so.
best character dies in ep3
he got what was coming to him, you can't compete in shit with that kind of mentality, believing that you aren't or can't become elite
Is body contact/ramming/grinding other racers allowed?
So can't I just ride in first seconds and kick other people's bikes?
