>Today, I went to Shonen Jump's Editorial Department. I was overwhelmed with a indescribable emotion. I didn't know how to express what I was feeling... But maybe was like going to the house of your rich classmate.
What the fuck was he doing there?
Maybe someone there can teach him how to draw.
Jump taught me that your story might be mediocre, but if your art is above average, you pass.
Maybe Shueisha want him to make them a manga.
Jump a shit.
Except Gintama, and even they bullied Sorachi a lot according to what he wrote in his author notes.
From what I've heard some authors base villains on Jump editors. Apparently Freeza was based on a guy a lot of the mangaka had trouble with.
>But maybe was like going to the house of your rich classmate
hilarious if true
yeah, and that thing they do where they lock up their mangaka by systematically making them sign exclusivity contracts is kinda uncool. Incidentally, they still do that, right? has any other company started doing that?
Also, while I hate the resultant lack of or shitty content, I like how mangaka like Togashi must have fought tooth and nail with the editors in the shadows while stuff like the hiatuses and the scribble chapters to have happened.
No wonder Jump rejected SnK.
Maybe it was like that shit in Bakuman, you know. When authors want to meet face to face and stuff..
I wonder how a meeting of Mashima and Oda would end.
Oda would try to walk away, but can't, because Mashima is camping out on his coattail.
Why do you think it's a twitter of Isayama himself?
>Maybe Shueisha wants him to make them a manga.
fixed that for you.
Why would Jump reject something so popular ?
how could they know, it would be this popular, when it looks like shit?
They wanted Eren to be exactly like Goku in terms of personality but Isayama told them to fuck off.
That isn't Isayama's twitter account, dude.
