Didn't Koko fell in love with banri too soon ?
I mean wtf youre chasing mitsuo since you were a child and then you just go to banri as plan B ?
>>
hmmm
>>
The anime messed it up a lot.

Koko is fucked up, and posessive as fuark. She probably didn't actually love Mitsou. It was more like a very deep rooted crush. But Banri showed her that she shouldn't look for "the one".

Kouko is a persitent idiot, she just was chasing Mitsuo because that is what she has done all her life. Love was over long ago.

>wtf

Stop that.

Welcome to the world of anime, where the most unrealistic things happen on a daily basis.

>"I can't live without mitsuo"

It was a lie.

Still a good series though, in my opinion.

They turned a full novel series into 25 episodes. Time seems to go by much faster.

They skipped on a lot of context that made that whole arc/segment have a lot more sense.

Kouko just so happened to be vulnerable and alone, and Tada Banri was just there for her as a friend. However, he forced her hand with his breaking out of the friendzone.

At first I enjoyed it only because it had amazing OP and ED, but I'm actually really enjoying Golden Time now. I guess that's what happens when you start to like the characters.
