Let's have a Patalliro thread.
It's just you and me tonight.
How much gay is this shit?
Pretty gay, most guys are traps. Some of the better episodes are where the MC is horsing around regular gag manga hero style with his robot housekeeper family or successor from the future or shit except maybe slightly gayer.
Ok, I'll watch it. Someday.
Bjorn > Thatcha > ED trap > Trap 1
Shit I have to download the rest of these raws.
Enjoy waiting for subs forever.
Speaking of subs, who would be better to contact, aarin of LE? Both?
Guys fucking and everything.
Live-Evil has a post up about looking for QC staff, maybe they could delegate that part to Aarin if they can find a translator. But I dunno, better ask Aarin first.
I almost forgot that Buddy Complex "nice coupling" is about the epitome of gay in anime for some.
>Jada below Thatcher
I'm sorry, but when he went "I wouldn't have minded [Bancoran crawling into my bed]" and ran away in embarrassment, he just stole my heart.
To be fair, there's no way anyone could have expected this level of homo, given the general tone of the show (not to mention it's a children's cartoon.)
Try Aarin first. They did work with another group for Saiyuki, so you could mention that they should contact LE of they are short on staff since they are well known for working on classics and older series.
Good luck and keep us posted here or the other thread please.
Was this normal back then for children's cartoons?
Why is modern anime so shit?
Can this also be general old school thread? I need some recommendations for some good old school shoujo manga/anime that has been fully translated to english.
I think it was less common in the 80s, and I don't have that much experience with old manga/anime, but Kitaro and Devilman certainly had some fucked up shit.
>Forum is down for upgrading and maintenance.
Goddammit, I thought shit was fixed.
Yea sure, always looking for good old stuff.
Go Nagai had crazy shit.
My only gripe with it is that Kazuyuki Sogabe signs out of it when Bancoran finally bottoms.
Prime time seven PM anime.
About men fucking.
>old school shoujo manga/anime
>that has been fully translated to english
Are there any, besides a couple of short Year 24 classics?
Which reminds me, Zankoku etc won't be fully scanlated until 2015 at this rate.
I just downloaded this. It's not completed, though.
>Are there any,
I could name a bunch from the early 90s.
For the 80s, maybe Banana Fish and such.
Pretty much my thoughts. Getting a full NA licensed release and getting fully scanlated by fans are about as likely for old shoujo.
R is for Rocket is good if you haven't read it.
This >>100986071 is by the same author.
I'm gonna do it guys.
Actually I haven't, thank you.
I read Banana Bread Pudding a long time ago, and I still can't decide if I liked it or not. It's fairly unique, so you should definitely check it out if you haven't done so already.
OR IS IT?
It looks more like a short-haired girl than a dude, even accounting for the shoujo style, so it still counts.
Remember to pay attention to the onion head voices, it's an in-joke all-star cast.
Shame the subs don't get as far as Shuuichi Ikeda's not-a-trap-this-time of the week.
>it's an in-joke all-star cast
The problem is that I don't recognize any voices from that period.
Hell, I can barely recognize VAs from recently aired shows, unless they starred in half the anime that year.
Isn't there only one chapter left? but yeah, the scanlator got lazy
>It's not completed, though.
>Last File Added: 2011-01-18
Damn. It sounds interesting but I hate reading only parts of a work.
I guess I should learn moon runes but I'm horrible at languages.
>Isn't there only one chapter left?
No, that'd be Copernicus no Kokyuu. Zankoku has several volumes left I believe.
Bronze should be finished within a few months, I think.
Oh wait, you're right. Zankoku only has 17 volumes. Derp.
Posting it in here too.
>Banana Bread Pudding
Thanks for this, the first chapter was definitely interesting, the only manga I've read (portions of) from this author before is Star of Cottonland.
I think the reason they dropped it was lack of translator. Unless we have a translator willing to work on this, I don't think aarin can help.
