Has anyone on /a/ seen Erin?
I've been wanting to watch it, but I cant make it through the first episode. Is it worth it?

Because the introduction seems pretty half-assed.
>>
Let me rephrase it then:

What did you guys think of Erin?
>>
Probably one of the best anime released in the past 10 years.
>>
It has a slow start, and as overall is rather slow paced, but Erin end up becoming amazing character, so yeah i worth of it, it's a great series.
>>
It's a kid show but without typical for this genre fanservice and actually telling story about positive values in life.

Kemono no Souja Erin is a very good reason why kids anime shouldn't be dismissed.

I cried like a baby...

I'll give it a watch then.

it's a masterpiece

I like it because it actually shows the protagonist growing up, not just starting the story with her as a teen and ending it with a timeskip being 20 something. It's a really heartfelt series and I don't think that being intended for kids hurt it at all. Some of the positivity and atmosphere would be lost if it was a gory action series.

It's a stunning show, really. Especially for a kids show. Everything about it is quite beautiful, but it does indeed have a bit of a slow start. I think it's around episode 7 where it starts picking up. I'd say it's definitely worth watching the whole thing. Also, never judge a show by its first episode. You should know this by now.

Also, this OST. So good.

It's a really good series, 50 episodes sounds a bit too much if we consider that is a slow paced anime but the story will certainly grew on you.
Personally I don't think Erin to be an anime for kids, ther's some shit going on in the series that only a mature audience can appreciate.
>>
I really enjoyed it, like other people have said I loved seeing her grow up.

It felt like I was watching an animated water color painting at times, that's how awesome the backgrounds and stuff were

I still have to watch it but it seems like the classic good series that nobody watches.

Best couple ever?

Although I heard it gets pretty sad in the novels that happen after the end of the anime series.
