Like the Animatrix coming out before the Matrix 2 movie, Batman is having an animation before Dark Knight. This screencap is by Production IG and Madhouse.
So.... is Batman /a/ now? In b4 Kia Asamiya bleh batman comic
I AM SO PUMPED ABOUT THIS
REMEMBER THAT OLD BATMAN CARTOON
YOU KNOW THE ONE
FUCK THAT WAS AWESOME
AND NOW WE GET ANOTHER ONE
LIKE THIS GOD DAMN SHIT DOESN'T GET YOU PUMPED UP
Kia Asamiya bleh batman comic
Even better, Batman is /co/ AND /a/
I must have watched that series a dozen times.
This is going to be the coolest thing in the history of ever.
The director of Batman: The Animated Series is directing a Batmanime with 3 of the top studios in Japan. There is no possible way this could be bad. Batman could shit ducks for 30 minutes and I would watch every second of it.
Seriously I can't even say anything besides link people to this.
IT'S THE FUCKING GOOD BATMAN
BUT ANIMATED WAY BETTER
Bruce Timm is a master. I'm so mad the DCAU is over with. Thank god for Toon Disney and Boomerang
>DCAU is over with.
That screen does not look like Production IG work
Fast forward it to the end.
Superman > Batman.
>Batman could shit ducks for 30 minutes
Holy shit, that would be awesome, even if Kyoto Animation was animating it. That might even make it more awesome if batman had moe eyes.
Yea. The last episode was in Justice Leauge Unlimited. Superman and Doomsday had an epic fight. Lex found some "light" that can rule planets. Let me check my sources
I look at Batmans face in OPs pic and I think of Guts.
Superman and Darkseid. As for lex, fuck yeah "I had to get my power suit"
Okay here we go
The Justice League reluctantly teams up with the Legion of Doom in anticipation of an omega-level threat. Darkseid launches a full-scale invasion of Earth and the combined League and Legion battle para-demons across the planet. Meanwhile, Superman, Batman, and Lex Luthor take on Darkseid atop the Daily Planet building, until Metron(a time god) offers Luthor the ultimate deal with the devil.
more like Lex points a gun at Metron and tells him to bring him to the source wall.
2001 lols ensue.
I think of Griffith, or..Femto.
Well they both are Dark Kights
As long as Amerifags are writing it, Batman will suck shit.
It's a Banana Anime. Yellow on the outside, white as hell on the inside.
gonna have to start using that...
You say that as if the Japanese can write for shit themselves.
But you forget that Batman was originally American. Protip: Americans are good when it comes to American stuff.
>As long as Amerifags are writing it, Batman will suck shit.
Amerifags have always been writing it. That's why it rules. You are right about the banana anime
Enjoy your >>10097409 - esque butchered Batman with your tacked-on downer ending à la MILFblade.
MILFblade had MILFs though.
who cares about plot?
>>10097434who cares about plot?
Why hello, Cancer.
Someone hasn't actually read any Batman comics.
You'd be screaming GAAAAR over this book. And "Holy shit!" over Arkham Asylum.
You can go back to your cartoon board /co/cksucker.
Depends. But I mean to say that as an anime Batman will fail hard; it'll still be Batman, but it won't be anime because Americans are still writing it.
Americans seem to think that they can just copy Japan's style and tap the same interest in anime/manga. It doesn't work like that. Anime is like it is - from how the stories are set up to how the art looks - because it reflects the culture of the Japanese, or what they value. Wearing Japanese clothes will not turn even the biggest weeaboo into a Japanese person, they'll always be a foreigner and make foreigner cartoons because they weren't raised in Japan.
As a cartoon I don't know how Batman will work out. Could be great, could be epic. But the anime part is just some lame gimmick, so I'll never consider it true /a/ material.
I, for one, can't wait for the Batmanime banana anime.

The weeaboo in this post almost killed me.
Batman can go on any board he fucking wants. Except /c/...
Call me superficial and shallow, but I couldn't ever get into any of Frank Miller's work. There's just something about the artwork that bothers me. The same goes with Sandman, alas. Arkham Asylum was made of all kinds of awesome, though. That I can agree with.
Frank Miller doesn't even draw Batman Year One. So what is the problem?
Can he go in /y/?
Arkham Asylum would have been better with Brian Bolland artwork, at least he would have followed the script. Dave McKean just did what he wanted, ignoring a lot of script info.
Banana anime Batmanime anime
Wow that's a mouthful.
You're worst than the weeaboos in /jp/ that creates the Japanese 101 threads.
