Given a chance? Is there any servant whom you ever like to become, or is there a historical hero who you really look up to.

>I really look up to the Chinese historical figure, Cao Cao. I believe that even to the Chinese, this may be shocking to hear. But although there are other famous historical generals in Japan such as Oda Nobunaga who also oppose the empire for the sake of a revolution , he is actually a really popular person in Japan. I was really taken aback when I heard from some of my readers from China that, Cao Cao, is usually treated as a villain in most fictional works. However in Japan, Cao Cao is very popular amongst the Japanese anime industry and has been used as the base of a main character for many anime works.

Since Cao Cao has been known to use a sword, would you classify him as a Saber class or maybe even as a Berserker class instead?

>Berserker class huh? Think I’ll give that a pass. (Urobuchi Sensei chuckled as he mentioned that.) Maybe he could be more suited to be a Caster class instead.

Bravo Hackbuchi

What were the conditions for historical or mythological people becoming Servants in Fate? They had to have some sort of legendary weapon?

So does that mean Achilles or Hector couldn't become a Servant? Or Cyrus the Great?
>>
Japan's rehabilitation of Cao Cao was a popular in literary circles in Japan several decades before the anime industry even started. Don't believe Urobutcher's lies.

They don't need some sort of weapon. They just need to have accomplish great feats in life and be revered in legends after their death.

Achilles is already a servant.

Roland from The Song of Roland
Wielder of Durendal
In The Song of Roland, the sword is said to contain within its golden hilt one tooth of Saint Peter, blood of Saint Basil, hair of Saint Denis, and a piece of the raiment of the Blessed Virgin Mary, and to be the sharpest sword in all existence. In the poem, Roland uses the sword to hold off a hundred-thousand-strong Muslim army long enough for Charlemagne's army to retreat into France. Roland attempted to destroy the sword to prevent it from being captured by the attacking Saracens and created La Brèche de Roland in the Pyrenees in the process. But Durandal proved indestructible, so he hid it beneath his body along with the oliphant, the horn used to alert Charlemagne.

Does one of his power allow him to tie an enemy to his ride and drag them around?

Urobuchi has good taste. The historical Cao Cao was the hero the country needed, but Liu Bei and the Sun family just had to be party poopers.

Odysseus would be my ideal hero.
Archer, probably. Great bow of Odysseus, but he also wielded several spears and a sword at varying points.
Probably has boatloads of skills, being a genius hero-king and all. In exchange for only having a weak noble phantasm at best.

Skillset would be crazy like:
Librarian of Stored Knowledge, Military Tactics, Charisma, Mind's Eye (True), Subversive Activities, and possibly a low rank of Bravery (seems to be a greek thing to have, at least).

Noble Phantasm would probably be something like: Nobody ~ One Who Blinds You:
Odysseus gives a fake identity that you have to believe because you are suckers.

And maybe something to do with the trojan horse but that can't really help in a grail war.
