This isn't a ronery or alpha male sort of thread, just a legitimate query into why you're on 4chan during a friday evening.

My excuse is that I work starting rather early on saturday mornings, and need to be up at 5:00 AM.
>>
Work starts in 3 hours.
>>
I don't like going outside. There are people out there.
>>
I have no friends a no woman in their right mind would ever want to have anything to do with me.
>>
8 am here, I just got up. Need to fix me some breakfast.
>>
bad weather + sick.
>>
People suck.
>>
I've had a particularly nasty cold for the last three weeks and it's finally starting to get better. I leave for a trip next week and I don't want it to get worse.

Besides, it was either this, or try and get a 40k game with crappy players at my LGS.
>>

This. Also, should be studying for midterm, so didn't make explicit plans.
>>
>>10091575
im an introvert i guess, i have 2-3 good friends but thats it, and their not always available.
Id rather read a book or surf 4chan than go to some random party.
>>
>>10091575

gotta sleep early because tomorrow I drive to el paso to buy Brawl and return on that same day.

lol whut.
>>
Because I want to be.
>>
I just moved in a city I haven't set foot to in 3 years.

All my old friends who were here have moved elsewhere.

I am doing online courses.

What reason would I have to go outside?

Because I don't have anything better to do right now lol.
Proasting random pic from my /a/ folder.
>>
What? What else would I be doing?
>>
I'm in a foreign country, don't know any locals, and I'm done with my college courses for the semester. Oh so terribly ronery.
>>
I just stepped out of the shower and am in my towel drying off. I browse 4chan to pass time.
>>
>>10091726
>a foreign country
A what?
>>
Because it falls between Friday afternoon and Saturday morning during which I am also on 4chan.
>>
You get shafted with prices for beer at the bars and they're too damned crowded too. Just picked up a sixer of IPA and gonna relax.
>>
I don't need an excuse. I don't have friends I could go out with and even if I had, I wouldn't be interested.
>>
Spring break is coming to an end, and I'm supposed to be making up about ten late lab reports. Haven't started.

Nothing else in particular that I'd rather be doing than browsing /a/ anyway, though.

Lot's of people sick around here. Looks like the bug is still going around. Just got over it myself.

I'm here because it's my hobby and I don't like being out after dark. I just drop in for a few seconds between episodes of a series I'm currently marathon-ing.
>>
I work at UPS stocking trucks at night. Currently going through the second batch of my 12 cup o coffee routine so I won't get tired.
>>
7am here. Long but satisfying day at work. Rewarding myself with a shower, a soda, some lulz with anonymous, and a Kino no Tabi marathon.
>>
>>10091912
I worked there for a week. Had to quit 'cause the stress nearly killed me. Benefits are good though. Good luck out there.
>>
>>10092010
What stress?
>>
My friends and I no longer have anything in common and I haven't talked to them in a while. Also work 3rd shift so whats the point of going out if you have to leave early.
>>
I'm waking up early tomorrow to buy Smash Bros. Brawl.
>>
I'm not with my friends tonight because I have an art project and I'm kinda sick.
But even if I was with them I would still occasionally check on 4chan during conversation lulls.

Hmmm, really? Please enlighten me as to what you're talking about stress wise. I applied for a job there the other day and are currently awaiting for them to call me back.
>>
im waiting for some of my friends to get off work so we can go to this guys house for a party. im already drunk, and just waiting. bored
>>
>>10092116
Just because he was stressed out doesn't mean you will be, unless your gonna be applying at the same exact one he worked at.
>>
>>10092146
Just trying to be cautious Anonymous. Nothing wrong with that.
>>
I'm eating Orville Redenbacher Movie Theatre popcorn and drinking vodka and rum.

I'm a 21 year old virgin. I don't go out very often on any nights, Friday is no different.
>>

Depends on if you're a loader or an unloader. Unloading is easy, just grab a box and chuck it down the conveyor belt. Loading is another story. You have to memorize several zipcodes assigned to whatever truck you're on, make sure each package is scanned correctly (make a mistake and someone loses a package for a week), the STACK them as fast as possible before the conveyor belt backs up - wich it always does - like a non-stop, intense game of tetris.

Both of these jobs involve INTENSE physical activity, so be prepared to sweat bullets in places you didn't know could sweat.

Then there's the Smalls. These are packages that are too small to be stacked individually, and need to be placed in bags. This is a less stressful and physically demanding, since you're pretty stationary and the job ends as fast as you can get everything done, so you can essentially work at your own pace (sort of). The only downside to this is that there's still the matter of accuracy, a line of packages that never ends, and possible boredom. Also, this position is a little harder to get for a beginner.

Hope that helps. I myself couldn't handle the intensity of the job, but that's just me. You might fair better. In any case, if you decide to take the job, take full advantage of the benefits, wich is pretty much the only reason most people take the job.

Good luck, and don't fuck up your fellow anon's mail orders.

Well about the sweating part, I'm fine. Used to unload Alfalfa hay from cattle trucks (about 350 to 420 bails, each weighing about 75-80 pounds) and stack them in hay barns.

But I guess I'll give it a shot seeing as I need to find a career type of job. Thanks for the heads up.
>>
>>10092283
Oh, and one more question. Do you have a uniform or dress code to abide by while you're doing this?
>>
...because I'm always here on a Friday night?

I had my tooth pulled today and I'm on meds. I'm not doing shit for days.
Doesn't matter what day it is when I don't have a job anyway, but I have reasons for that. Working on it anyway.
>>
Currently choosing between working at Budweiser (in b4 redneck etc) or taking a job to learn how to be a land surveyor.
>>
>>10092453
Not really. Just keep in mind that you're gonna' get dirty/dusty/sweaty. T-shirt, jeans, and a sturdy, comfortable pair of shoes are the way to go.

BIG TIP: Get a good pair of gloves. One's with rubber on the palms and fingers are perfect. They'll really save your hands and give you the grip you'll need.
>>
i have two big assignments due monday, so i'm trying to get started on the essay one. i'm on 4chan because i'm distracting myself from doing it.
>>
I'm going out tomorrow night so I wanted a night by myself
>>
>>10093184
Thanks
>>
I'm the same as OP, work early Saturdays.
>>
I'm ronery. Always.

>>
iam too lazy to go out, besides,
iam a neet so i dont have any money.

life sucks
>>
The only other option available to me involves watching the shit-fest that is 300.
>>
>>10093440
Life just sucks for you because you are worthless. I bet everyone you know secretly hates you and considers you a burden.
>>
>>10093487
Bumping the thread so this sad sack of shit realizes a garden slug is more valuable than he is.
>>
I just got back from campus as they were having a FPS tournament. free food and gaming. the best part is that to play in the tournament you had to pay 3 bucks; I didn't pay yet was still able to play because I was filling in some guys spot who had disappeared
>>
wtf how did it get to be friday already.
