Saint seiya omega ep 88, starting in 1 hour.
Bronzes saint doing bronzes things, and probably something involving Subaru and a kuuurraaazzyy tweeeest.
Link to stream:
SUBARU IS RELATED THE GOD OF TIME?!
WHO WOULD HAVE THOUGHT!
Come on Europa, kick some legendary ass
Yep, they're dead
Oh, hi Hyperion
AE only managed to break the sword, the chronotector is fine
It's gangrape time
Hyperion curbstomped bronzes with upgrades and without a sweat
I haven't watched Omega since they finished the Sanctuary/Gold Saint arc and announced a fucking STEEL saint was going to join the MC cast.
How bad has the series turned out to be since then?
Here comes Subaru god mode
Retarded looking cloths, and Hyoga still isn't a gold saint for some reason
Where's the delayed stream?
It was shit, then decent.
It has good moments, but really bad ones too.
You just gotta watch it and see if you can tolerate it or not.
Breddy cool. Not rehashing the plot and they've had some really nice episodes with TEAM WORK and COMBINED ATTACKS and shit instead of the usual stock footage power spam. Not all of them, of course, but enough.
Also oodles of Golds and old characters. Even the three Steels came back.
Bad, but it has nothing to do with him.
>hating on Steels
They've been the best characters. Even Ban and Nachi are Steels now.
Subaru is gonna defeat Hyperion
Also he's the MC of this season
Subaru is a rock, son.
Subaru into stone
Miller vs Hyoga and Shun
And Europa escaped again
>nobody is shirtless
> Clothless Bronzes
Legend of Sanctuary spot but I missed it!
>animation for next week actually looks good
WHAT IS THIS MADNESS
Looks Bronzes vs Mars again
Cast list for 89? Tks
Just Bronze 7 + Athena and Hyperion
>Yuna's thighs covered out of nowhere
They all look as if they had been raped.
Hyperion is a rape machine without sword
And don't forget Titan which is more OP than him
Titan Chronotector = Sagittarius,Gemini,Virgo
Aegaon: 2 eps
Gallia: 2 eps
Hyperion: 3 eps
Titan: 4 eps
Strongest signs are the strongest (in SS universe)
>implying Deathtoll is not the strongest
They are the strongest in the XX / XXI century, I'll give you that.
What shitty cards was Galia dealt; Pisces, Cancer, Aquarius
Let's wait until Past Sagittarius, Scorpio and Aquarius are revealed, we don't know how strong Capricorn Izo is.
But if you want to troll the fandom
Opphiuchus > 12 Golds
Pisces is great in Omega.
Cancer is great in ND.
Aquarius is always shit.
Amor was fabulous. Too bad he died like a dog
I can only hope Shaina puts on that cloth, dammit.
IIRC, originally Mars was going to be the Ophiuchus gold saint, but it was changed during production. Maybe Kurumada is really going to do something important with it?
Hyperion's armor isn't even damaged?
thats kinda dumb
IIRC Kurumada let Toei know some information about ND which they used to make Omega
And that's apparently the main reason of why Marin is not in Omega
Alright, does that mean they'll borrow unused gold clothes?
they've been painting "omega" as something beyond any saint rank, so I wouldn't think so
So, considering how every cloth was destroyed... does that mean that every cloth will evolve further like Kouga's in the opening, not just Pegasus?
They will look the same.
We don't know. Looks like it's only Koga and Seiya
Omega could be watchable if it was its own thing instead of trying to fit in the official continuity. It's not like they'd achieved it anyway, see Shoryu.
Kurumada may die before finishing ND and we still don't know shit about the Heaven arc. Omega could be the chance to get some kind or resolution for SS but Toei fucked up beyond repair
>Omega could be watchable if it was its own thing instead of trying to fit in the official continuity.
But it does fit in the continuity. In the anime continuity, where Asgard exists and Bluegrad doesn't.
Do Omegafags still insist with that crap?
No, it doesn't. Toei is too afraid of contradicting the manga despite Kurumada doesn't give a crap about omega, neither the fans
Joke's on you. Continuity or not, I don't give a shit. If it's enjoyable I'll watch it and if it doesn't tie to anything, I don't care. Enjoy trying to make sense of Camus being Hyoga's master sometimes, and sometimes his master's master, and all of that other bullshit.
Before Omega, no one gave a shit about SeiyaxSaori but suddenly everyone and their moms became shippers when Kouga seemed to be their son. The fandom is THAT desperate for any kind of resolution
98% of the Saint Seiya fanbase gives zero fucks about the manga, it's shit
And only mentioned by vocal fans online
While I don't really care about the continuity, I do remenber Toei saying they were planning on adapting ND into anime if it had enough material.
So it would makes sense that they at least try to not completly fuck it up.
Of course this is meant to be a failure anyway, because kuru will come up with more bullshit in the last minute to ruin any continuity left.
Omega could be watchable if Toei didn't give a crap either. Too bad Toei went full retard a long time ago.
Greek myths contradict each other all the time. Why wouldn't that be the case wth Saint Seiya, the "modern myths"?
Friendship's power>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Ikki>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>3 gold saints including Shiryu.
Too much ANO KATA this episode
Dunno, it would make sense that there is ambiguity about gods.
But if we're talking about character like the bronzes, marin and stuff, they're humans, so it would be weird to justfy changes because myths.
I know you're gonna tell me their past adventures can be myths too, but still, you gotta admit it's rather weird.
Heroes have myths that don't fit in a single continuity too. Look no further than Herakles, aka Greek Superman.
But my point is simpler; if you can just assume that Omega or other iterations simply pick up from a certain point in time and establsh their own timeline aterwards, AND you enjoy watching it, you can be happier. You don't have to concern yourself with watching somethingy don't like just because it's part of a grander universe of a story you previously liked.
Basically, fuck continuity.
Yeah I'm with you on this.
I'm all for headcanon in saint seiya, after all there are good stuff and bad stuff in all material and continuity.
>suddenly everyone and their moms became shippers when Kouga seemed to be their son
This is beyond sad.
>implying I haven't been shipping Seiya from the start
I wish Toei think like you and give a conclussion to SS instead of whatever the hell Omega is
Most SSfags are old school fanboys so they aren't that much into shipping or at least not with SS.
Seiya is plain as fuck on a show full of bishies so there isn't much wish-fulfillment from the female audience
I've never cared for SeiyaxSaori but I wish Kouga was their son just for the mythological aspect of introducing demigods to the SS universe and not in a half-assed way like Eden.
The goodbye scene before the 12 houses in the manga seemed more like a breaking up with Seiya admiting he wasn't interested in having a normal youth, the anime made it more romantic
>Do Omegafags still insist with that crap?
>No, it doesn't.
You could say that about season 1, but season 2 of Omega clearly placed itself as an anime sequel. Steel Saints, an anime-only element, were a big factor in the first half and in the development of Subaru, who's basically this season's protagonist. And Seiya constantly uses "Atomic Thunderbolt", an attack that never existed in the manga.
So, yeah, you could say that the whole "anime continuity" bit was just an excuse for season 1 of Omega, but season 2 is clearly based on the anime continuity and would never work as a manga sequel.
Nah, Toei just got desperate for not reaching the kids so they're pandering really hard to the oldfags for allowing Bandai to sell myth cloths.
Steel Saints were never liked by the fanbase though. Their inclusion really wasn't any kind of pandering, just an element that this team wanted to add to the show.
There's a reason the "legendary" Steel Saints didn't even get a full episode for themselves in Omega.
I wish Omega had a scene with an older Miho as a happy housewive with a husband and kids while Seiya is still in the same bullshit of 25 years ago. It'd be poignant as fuck
>Their inclusion really wasn't any kind of pandering
It was a reference to the old show and it got the attention of the oldfags just to see how they'd explain the "legendary" steel saints disappeared, but they didn't. That's pandering
Just watched the previous episode.
I...I don't know omega has this song. It's beautiful
I can't believe there are people that actually believe Kiki and Shiryu are dead for real. Dissapearing in a flash of light is the oldest shounen trick. The writers just got themselves into a corner when they bring the main 5 into the battle so now they're "killing" them for leaving some space for the new guys
So now, let's discuss this.
Assuming they are alive (including ikki), where would they have gone to?
They'll all be back. Even if they died for real, the main trait about the season villains is that they control time. They'll reverse their deaths somehow.
No, 'm not talking about the possibility of their death.
I do think they went inside some hammer space like the gemini sister's another dimension.
tfw violins are never represented correctly in anime
Or maybe just fly away to somewhere just like Dohko and Shion after their duel on Hades arc. Without a corpse, it's hard to believe in a real dead. Didn't a lot of omega silver saints fall into risks and similar shit? They're alive on S2.
Despite its fame as a yaoi fodder, SS has great girls
Cid simply can't focus with althe T&A
Some are inexplicably alive. Not only cause they were clearly dead, like Miguel, but because even if they're alive they do fuck all in the story.
Normally I'd say that Toei is thinking in the children but at this point everyone know children don't watch omega so probably the staff is too lazy for thinking on new designs.
Before Omega, the fandom tried really hard to ignore everything related to Seiya but when Omega arrived, for the first time on SS's 25 years, Seiya was liked by the fandom. Unfortunately, it was necessary to shit over the entire SS universe to make Seiya likable
I've always liked Seiya though
He just followed the natural pogression and, with a new protagonist, became Aioria. Notice how in the orignal story Aioria is basically advanced-level Seiya.
Even Lightning Plasma is a fast Ryuuseiken.
