best girl of any anime ever
OP has exquisite taste.
>Edgemaster Mary Sue Ultimax.
>doesn't fight some psycho moron who thinks weed is a hard drug
>said psycho fucks up arch-beta romantic interest
Yep. Definitely best girl.
Not even my waifu, but seriously the ultimate best girl.
She is my waifu and I confirm this.
Faggot, she didn't do it out of love for beta-kun.
Actually Kokutou is hardly a fucking beta considering how much his shit kicks in and he still keeps pushing throughout the series.
Yeah, you're argument is now invalid.
GOD FUCKING DAMN IT I JUST CAME OUT OF A WAIFU THREAD
People don't actually hate Shiki right?
>>doesn't fight some psycho moron who thinks weed is a hard drug
>>said psycho fucks up arch-beta romantic interest
>Yep. Definitely best girl.
She didn't kill said psycho because her arch-beta romantic interest-kun told her not to. And he didn't even have to beat her up. Maximum obedience. If that is not a sign of best girls, I don't know what is. And the weed was MAGICAL, probably infused with Araya's semen or somethin. Shit was hard, yo.
It's like smoking 10x the normal amount of weed. With such a high dose insanity followed by death is inevitable.
When will you fuck off from Type Moon threads?
Couldn't help laughing a bit at this part, kept thinking about how evil Japs must think weed is.
10/10 film though.
Doesn't she like killing in and of itself?
Marijuana addiction is serious business. As Death Note teaches us, it causes you to start robbing banks and murdering people to feed your addiction.
No. The stuff Lio kissed into Cocteau wasn't weed. It weas some super hardcore drug that was 10x more stronger then the magical weed. Pay attention, /a/non.
What the fuck, Captcha.
Why didn't Kokutou die?
>stuff Lio kissed into Cocteau
Oh fuck, forgot about that. What the fuck was even his problem? Lio seemed like just some obnoxious insane dude.
He fucking lost it when Soren let him see his origin or some shit.
I don't know. It was never explained even in the novels. I like to think that him almost bleeding out got the shit outta his system or something. Or he is just an ubermensch.
My theory is that Void Shiki kept him alive since it has control over reality pretty much
Maybe Lio was in love with Kokutou. Would explain why he dressed like the woman Kokutou loved, why he hated and wanted to kill her and why he showed more concern for Kokutou than anyone else and why he wanted to make Kokutou join him and become the same type of creature as him.
Typical yandere love.
That would make sense given the conversation Kokutou has with her in the following episode. But I guess a "I saved your fucking life faggot" is too direct for Nasu.
>Maybe Lio was in love with Kokutou.
All that fucking licking goddamn.
Never cringed harder at anything until he licked up Shiki and kissed drugs into Kokutou.
The kiss was better than most kisses in anime between two consensual non psycho murders and hostages.
Or is that just me?
Does Kokutou have a fucking mustache in this picture.
Void Shiki was asleep in a body that was half dead some 100 meters away from him. She couldn't save him.
Maybe Kokutou is a closet junkie off the screen, so even magical marihuana x10 doesn't faze him.
Maybe it was the power of love.
Kokuto's Origin is Normalcy. That's the reason the drug didn't screw him up.
Is his origin ever mentioned or is it something you're supposed to assume based on his character?
How does that work? Normal people die when they swallow a dose of drug that is considered deadly by a seasoned drug dealer.
Word of god
The drug was supposed to awaken other people's origin. Kokuto's origin was normalcy so it had no real effect.
Huh. This shit is really one of those things you gotta watch multiple times to pick up on details. I think I'm gonna start it up again soon.
Is the KnK convoluted?
The drugs were just supposed to make people go insane. Nothing magical was supposed to happen.
The reason Lio was distributing them was in the hopes that they would turn others into beings like himself.
Best fight scenes in the type Moon Universe?
Well, yeah. Turn insane like he was.
It's actually sort of foreshadowed. Hes take one of the blood-soaked LSD tabs and seems fine afterwards.
i support the hell out of this action, gonna go through all the movies and post caps until i feel like it. commencing slow as fuck dump.
Lio wasn't trying to drive people insane. He was trying to awaken their origin.
>Implying Shiki is best KnK girl
Yes. I think I liked the fight scenes between Shiki and the other antagonists more than with Lio, but watching Shiki kill Lio was one of the best feelings in the entire series after all the build up and "DO YOU HATE LIO YET" development.
>Lio wasn't trying to drive people insane. He was trying to awaken their origin.
He was just trying to make a friend that was as insane as him or Shiki. He was not a mage, tripfriend. He wasn't able to do magery.
Touko is so fucking hot, Christ.
I think she's legitimately my favorite girl. Too bad I'd be way too beta for her.
read the light novels, and i have to say it's worth it. some of this shit that is kind of retarded in the movies, as good as they are, makes way more sense in the novels. Especially the Reien Academy incident. Also, magical LSD weed.
>mystic filling of death perception
I have to admit, Touko gives Shiki a run for her money. At the very least.
Even pure animation wise, it's a treat for the eyes.
He was trying to awaken their origin so they'd become fucked up like him you twat
I can't help but like Ryougi the best, but Touko is certainly better than her bitch sister.
>best girl of any anime ever
Someone post a pic of this girl actually smiling for real as well, I've never seen her smile.
Shiki is the most elegant girl in animu period in my opinion.
The entirety of the series was a visually amazing. Even when they're just standing around talking they make it look good.
I give up. You are right, honey.
Do you really think that "special being" means insane? He was trying to make others be like him.
Man, now that I think of it, Araya was pretty much a drug pusher in the series.
Looks like she's going all out to crack that half smile.
I love the music, I think the same composer did madoka, fate/zero, and sora no woto.
It's a "You're fucked" kind of smile
Not sure which film I liked best. I want to say it's the one featuring Proto-Shirou and Proto-Kirei going at it, but I choked up at the end of the Lio one.
It's all good shit.
Come to think of it, she smiles before killing the ghosts on the rooftop.
What's the female equivalent of only being able to achieve an erection while murdering something.
i guess i'm just capping when i feel like it, not with any specific criteria. shiki or touko in shot.
the one and only answer
Usually when she smiles she's either being sarcastic or about to kill somebody, but here's a genuine smile deep from her heart
It's just battle lust or blood knight tropes.
Is this the best anime ever /a/?
It really is isn't it
I'm still only on Part 5
Milf Shiki when?
See? That's nice, she should do it more often. She loves her Yukatas right? She should smile more because Yukatas are awesome.
This one is supposed to be genuine and gentle, too.
No, she did the OP for Sora no Woto under Kalafina.
SnW as a whole was done by someone else
This whole "haha it was just my Doppelgänger" in movie 5 felt really weird for me.
Was that foreshadowed a bit more than just the three cars in front of the building?
Or is that a normal thing in this universe?
Because I think my biggest problems were all this magic stuff which just was there and was not really explained all that much.
You could definitely argue that Paradox Spiral is the best, but I have trouble declaring it my favorite in the face of the others. I like them all, though the first seems the slowest and weakest to me. Relatively slow and weak, I still like it.
For once OP has great tastes
>someone on /a/ using the words "edgy" or "mary sue"
It's not the best, but it's pretty damn good. Might be one of my favorites even, haven't decided yet.
I have the same issue. Paradox Spiral and Murder Mystery Part B were both top tier shit, but I still love all of them.
She was involvedm whatever. She also formed Kalafina in the first place, so whatever.
I don't want to go off topic but holy fuck Fate/ZeroFUCK
>Because I think my biggest problems were all this magic stuff which just was there and was not really explained all that much.
You kind of need a Degree in Nasuverse to understand everything perfectly but that's part of the charm because you actually feel like the world isn't centered around magic
>tfw Kajiura basically formed Kalafina to be her bitch chorus girls because she abuses vox in her music
>Ryougi will never straddle and slowly ride you while holding her knife to your throat.
Her losing control and having a massive orgasm seems almost OOC for her...
I know, I've been following Kalafina ever since she created it for KnK, they're the reason I got into Typemoon
Fun fact for Fate/Zero. Akio Otsuka played as Bluebeard in Sound Horizon's Marchen the year before that anime came out. Its kind of funny how he technically was both Rider and Caster
>Ryougi will never hold your hand
If you're not familiar with the 'Nasuverse', or really just Fate I guess, then the magic does feel a bit unexpected. Having played Fate/Stay Night, I enjoyed that movie even more, I highly recommend it. And for anyone who watched Fate/Zero without playing FSN, I'm sorry, it's ruined for you.
Let's see you lose an eye and a leg and still stick around. Kokutou is just a normal guy in a world full of magical murderers.
>then played F/SN
>then watched KnK
I probably did it in the most fucked up order possible, but I still enjoyed it all immensely. I wouldn't recommend doing this to anybody though. I still wish I could watch F/Z for the first time with the mystique that F/SN would have given all the characters.
that's what's funny about him, epilogue reveals him to be fundamentally normal.
Don't forget the part where Tophat-faggot smashed his head into the wall like 20 times. I have no idea how Kokutou's brain is as undamaged as it is.
I thought as much.
I got the movies without knowing really anything about them or the universe, so some things were really unclear to me.
Got them mainly because they looked really great animation wise in the trailer and also because the "box" looks amazing and I am a sucker for such things.
Is there a good site where I can read up things on this universe, since I doubt I will have time in a while to play any of the games or watch any other stuff?
It's exactly the same for me but I tried watching FSN after Zero and I was like "What the fuck is this shit?" Then I kept hearing good things about the VN here, so I read it and it was awesome.
Didn't Touko put some "protection" spell on the walls beforehand?
Imagine holding a freezing tin of ice cream with your bare thighs. fucking inhuman willpower.
screencaps of that to come. though at this rate it'll take about 7 hours.
She seems like the type who'd remain mostly silent during intercourse aside from light moans and quickened breath. When she climaxes, I'd imagine she'd tense up in extacy and dig her nails into your shoulder and back.
Oh man, I forget how exactly but it was because of a magical item Touko made for him he had no damage except for his legs.
Would you care if she was a guy?
That is the charm though. You go in with a lot of suspension of disbelief because you know everyone is a wizard and has SOME SORT of power, but the movie also treats you like a spectator instead of a viewer: nothing is explained to you. It is like you are watching these characters go through their life like they would normally, and not have to run through exposition that they would never say or do just because the camera is on them. I liked it a lot for that, it feels more real.
never do this
dat cover art, I guess I need to order this shit now.
Why do you do this, anon.
You can read this up without really spoiling anything major for yourself to understand how Magic works. To be technically correct its called Magecraft and Magic is something else entirely
>I'd imagine she'd tense up in extacy and dig her nails into your shoulder and back.
>you'll never have marks and scratches on your back marking you as Ryougi's lover
Where simply touching them as you move your hand over your back is like hitting play on a videotape recording of the night in question.
That's a really interesting way to look at it. Me and my roommate have been watching Naruto, and I've been cringing inside every time somebody stands around 5 minutes explaining the exact ramifications and details of the move they just pulled off.
Not that I want to compare KnK to shounen, but now that you pointed that detail out, I think it really does make the universe more appreciable.
i've experienced nails, you kinda don't notice until after, or just don't really care at all. and then it looks super crazy in the mirror, like you got mauled by a wildcat. it's swag.
>like you got mauled by a wildcat. it's swag.
I don't know this feel. ;_;
Ruined the thread for me by throwing a shovel of harsh reality right into my face.
She should have had the Katana in Melty Blood.
And I know Nasu is supposed to have said her and this pleb >>100913289
should never meet, but don't they meet in MB? What happens?
>girl of best anime ever
I really need to find some wild/crazy girls to sleep with. I hate ones who just lie there like dead fishes.
This is something I appreciate SO MUCH about KnK. I got the hours of reiteration in FSN, thanks very much. Loved that game, but holy shit.
She's way better with a sword than with a knife, the only time we see her use it is when she's super fucked up and weak in PS. The LN makes a point of this, so they didn't include the sword cuz it'd be OP obviously.
>dat feel when ryouki was my favorite mb character before I knew what she was from
>you will never have pure unadulterated passion ENGRAINED into your body
Ryougi pls kill these feels, she can do that right? ;_;
I've seen it twice now and I still don't really know what happened. Like I know what Soren did and why he's doing it but I'm still unclear on how what he does is supposed to get him what he wants
I know she's known more for using the Knife, but there are enough Knife users in Melty Blood who can't use a Katana, as well as her anyway.
screencaps just do not do so much of this show justice. so much of it is atmosphere and interestingly shot short cuts, especially this scene.
she actually wasn't crazy, she just couldn't help it. which made it even hotter. off topic. i don't want this to turn into "hurr i'm cool blog", sorry.
Fucking Kajiura man
Anyone feel sorry for these guys?
Araya is an oddity, he really is. Looking into the man that I believe inspired his first name, Soren Kierkegaard, would help. Araya feared that humanity was impossible to give worth to, that in a state of change, it was impossible to assign us a value, whether it be good or evil or some other such traits. He wanted to measure humanity like a scientist, and he wanted that measurement to read: important. He hoped that if humanity ended and only he was around to catalog our actions, he could manipulate the variables until it came out that we were valuable, and that would be the last testament to our existence. It is complex and hard to have empathy with, but his goals were truly on a galactic scale, a sort of philosophical-universe state of being. It is hard to describe in simple language.
He wanted to go to the beginning and end of all things and watch the life of every human to determine what happiness is using natural means to get there (Ryougi's eyes) because otherwise people like
would get summoned by the collective unconsciousness of mankind and wreck his shit up
To put it simply perhaps, he wanted all of Humanities origins to be one of value. Philosophically, he wanted to have faith that humanity was an existence that was beneficial to some sort of end. I would call him an abstract revolutionary. He had no real concrete goal besides discovering an end itself. His conflict is ironically undone by a man who's origin was nothing, so you can see how the two are philosophically opposed to the very core of their being.
Cut that obnoxious shit out NOW.
There is no definitive best absolute best girl for all of anime itself only varying degrees depending on either decent or absolute shit taste.
There's a reason there's no shit worst to best scale.
That's the part I understand, what I don't get is how setting up Fujino, Lio, and Kirie the way he did keeps the Counter Force from fucking with him or why he needed to become an apartment building conducting an experiment of a world dying in a day over and over
Maybe he's just an asshole.
No doubt he's an asshole but as far as I know he's not like Kotomine just getting his rocks off on the suffering of others. I'm pretty sure it's all part of the master plan but I'm just too dumb to see how
I really like it, it even has all the OST and nice 22 pages of art.
>because you know everyone is a wizard and has SOME SORT of power
That was my problem at first, because I did not NOT know that everyone was some sort of mage or especially trained shizophrenic killer, so sometimes stuff simply happened which went completly over my head. I should rewatch them anyway, though.
Thanks a lot, that should be interesting.
Maybe Araya's goal in finding the origin and determining the value of all humans was to find the best girl.
But he already finds the best girl.
T be fair, she gave that smile while trying to kill someone.
Yep. And puts her head in a jar.
just gonna grab some images from yandere, then i'm out. Kara no Kyoukai threads are always enjoyable.
I like it.
okay...this is the last cap.
Assuming nothing had happened to the male Shiki what were the Ryougis going to do with a sword wielding teenage girl with an alternate personality that knows only murder? And why was she just left to her own devices after the coma?
You know....magus stuff, and... things...
Her family no longer cared about her when they learned she lost her other half.
There's some seriously good stuff on yandere, just go there. Nice thread OP, you all have marvelous taste.
What is it about this guy that draws the mentally ill to him like moths to flame?
May as well spark some discussion between images, so I'd be grateful if somebody could tell a slow anon the significance of God's Word in that one episode. He didn't really seem connected to that whole affair.
>best friend with murder tendencies
>incestuous little sister
>Senpai who has lost it so hard that you can check every lost and found, and never find it again
I never thought about it, but that's a good question.
>I seriously hope anon is not saying that in America.
I don't recall if he was connected to the teacher he replaced, but he basically used him magic to get hired as a teacher, gave the long-haired girl her fairy familiars and manipulated her into doing all that stuff.
Ostensibly just to fuck around, I don't think there was a deeper meaning aside from some bored rogue mage having fun.
Where did you buy this?
Don't forget the clairvoyant, telekinetic, rape victim turned mass murderer and the crazy, possessive ghost girl.
Plus his daughter and his wife's other personality that should know nothing but murder loved him so much he kill himself so he wouldn't kill Kokutou
I think it was only released in Germany and France, so maybe that is why you never saw it.
Because of that I can only give you a link to a German shop, but I doubt that will help you?
Soon, 25 days till BD release.
Does it include Engrish subs?
Hold the fuck up, what is this?
Mikiya and Shiki's daughter
Cute isn't she?
So they're releasing another OVA?
Where the hell have you been?
I only watched KnK for the first time like 2 weeks ago, and I've never touched the LN's. I always thought it was finished with.
In the LN he got fucked with/abducted by faeries as a child, no shit. Now he's super crazy, pretty much not human, though in the end he's not completely removed. His involvement is about the same as in the anime, however.
If you enjoy KnK, read the light novel. Translations aren't perfect, but it's so worth it.
They call it 'empty boundaries' for some reason, but you can find all three volumes at emptyboundaries dot wordpress dot com. I was able to get pdfs there, if i remember correctly. Please just do it.
welcome to the party, i remember the day i found out. jorts were jizzed. waiting for the release has been /suffering/
>mfw they didn't show ryougi asking proto-shirou if he's gay or alba's fire skills
>Touko lighting her smoke with Alba's fireblast
Would have been so badass
I'm upset they left out all the good stuff about God's Word and screwed up the 6th movie overall, I enjoyed reading it very much
Yeah, the most upsetting thing for me was the ending, shoe'd in battle with that weird flower thing. What the fuck. The LN was way better, and the 'hurr durr it was durgs' made no sense compared to the ln, but I guess they didn't want prostitution to be a main plot feature. Still, Reien episode got fucked the hardest. I also have such a different perspective of Shiki after reading the novels, they offer ridiculous insight into Shiki's thoughts, which felt really great and affirmed all the things I wanted to believe and more.
But Kajiura hires other singers to sing for soundtracks.
Lovely, thank you based anon.
I think he wanted to awaken Shiki's origin by creating paradoxes all over the place, as she is a paradox herself. He said that both Fujou and Asagami are her direct oposites. Fujou was supposed to control two bodies with one mind, while Shiki had two minds in one body. On the verge of death she also chose suicide, while Shiki came back from her coma. Asagami had directly oposite stance on killing, which she took pleasure from and also got her powers sealed by her family, while Ryougi was all serious about ONE KILL IN ONE LIFE and got her powers because her family made it so. And the building itself was another paradox, western tower having living families, eastern their real corpses, so it was the litteral life-death ying and yang symbol. Then he captured Shiki in this "barrier" so that the counter force won't notice him trying to awaken Ryougi and then reach the origin by transfering his mind into her body. At least that is how I understand it. It's pretty complicated and well thought out by Nasu, I say.
