So I just got to ep 13 in this.
I'm enjoying it enough to continue, but I'm wondering one thing: Why is Ryuunosuke the best character
hikikomori + casual misogyny + tomatoes + he makes a great trap + he has a virtual waifu that is voiced by Hocchan (I think)
And that's probably only half of the reasons he's so great
Prepare to hate the rest of this awful show.
Drop it now. Really. It all goes downhill from here. If you really want to enjoy the story the way it was meant to be, including the ending where Sorata fucks Shiina, read the novels.
Because he's the cutest of course.
So is there an actual reason why /a/ hates this or is it just the same old bandwagoning?
But anons, it isn't so bad. ep 13 was decent enough.
Don't say we didn't warn you.
That's what I said, it all goes downhill from there. First half of the show was so-so, except the ep.3 NTR vibes, but the second half is absolutely fucked up. SUFFERING and DRAMA all over the place, without any need for either.
It's the latter.
Ignore most of /a/ they are a bunch of f/a/ggots with shit taste
The show is good
It's not even bandwagoning, it's just a small handful of people who are mad and autistically drown out anybody who has a different opinion than they do, to the point that everyone less autistic just stopped talking about it rather than have to deal with them and their shitflinging
Aoyama is so lovely.
There will be a forced drama about Sakurasou being demolished. It is the worst part of the series. Ryuunosuke reminds me of myself, that's why I almost hate him. Shiina is the best.
Second half was really disappointing. First half was my AotS, but it went downhill. It felt like they completely and abruptly reset Sorata's character development from the first half, even his plot line felt really samey (trying and failing to develop a game for a competition), and then the demolition arc was weak.
I don't really hate the show, though, overall.
She is easily best girl.
Reminds me too much of someone I know for me to like, but she's a good contender.
its a romance with a completely unlikable main character, its shit. how are you meant to care when he gets together with the autist girl if he deserves nothing but failure in life for being an irritating whiny fag.
>best girl loses
>MC's best friend is a man whore
>stupid "oh no, our favorite place is gonna close at the end of the school year" plot
>glorification of autism
>no relationship progression at all
All in all, it's less so that it's actually bad, and more so that it grew to be depressingly disappointing in its latter half.
It started out kind of fresh, a tad different. And all things considered, it had great potential.
For the most part it was generally loved.
The ending of the first half was great, and it was at that point the AotS of its season.
But then the second half aired, and now people kind of have a hard time thinking of it without feeling sour. Let alone talk about it.
All in all though I personally wouldn't want to say the second half to ruined the whole thing, as it really was great at times. But it was admittedly a let down nonetheless.
2nd half of the show is shit, drop this shit, trust me
>>glorification of autism
It was a pretty fair portrayal of autism. I wouldn't say it glorified it. At best it didn't shun it.
Good. Now after they get to the airport, and Mashiro confesses(?) drop it.
Even if you want to see the rest, drop it right there.
The very end was sweet though. The episodes leading up to it had already brought the thing down, but I would be lying if I didn't say I am happy I saw the end.
Picture related. I smiled.
That's all relative. For example, I hated Haruki in WA2, but I still enjoyed the series overall.
But if he stops at ep. 13, he'll never get to meet Sorata's parents, the REAL best characters
I say keep going. You've seen the best of it, but the second half isn't as bad as it's made out to be.
Sorata's dad staring at Sorata in the bath was kind of funny.
We all thought he was a girl at first
