What does it mean? Is it some sort of religious allegory or just 2deep4u bullshit?

I think most interpretations are pretty hamfisted and only serve to give sense to something which isn't supposed to have it.
Basically anyone who claims it to be a masterpiece is truly a pretentious hipster. An actual one, not the kind /a/ always talks about.
Did I like it? I don't even know.
What was the thing the landscape was on supposed to be? I read somewhere that it's supposed to be an ark, but I thought it looked like a moldy orange slice.
Obviously a take on Noah's ark.
You could say that about many things.
This movie doesn't have to have any inherent meaning. Half the fun is interpreting it and thinking about it, imo. The other half is admiring the OST, the animation, and the amazing Character/Background designs.
Love it and wish there were more things like it.
