Why this never will have a proper adaption?
>>
>>100857298
It has. It´s one of those things 3DPG call "moooovies"
>>
It was made into a movie trilogy.

tldr no anime companies own the rights

OP said proper adaptation, the movie was impossible to follow if you never read the mango it left so much out.

>the movie was impossible to follow if you never read the mango it left so much out.

That's normal for adaptations, whether they are anime or movies.
>>
You know what pains me even more? Pluto won't have an adaptation either.

>tldr no anime companies own the rights
a) Your TLDR is longer than the previous part.
b) The original publisher has the rights. Not any studio.
>>
Even if it did get an adaptation, you faggots would just spam every thread with "the manga is better".

Happens every fucking time.

Dunno. This series have a lot of music, that we can't put in a manga. With a full OST and a good animation, the adaption can even surpass the manga. But a live-action is just disgusting.

pluto wont happen
>>
The people who did monster were perfect!! it was just like the manga, they should do 20th century boys
>>
Monster isn't the best manga from Urosawa but is the only one that have an adaptation. That's kinda sad.

Did you forget about Master Keaton?
>>
I'd love to see whatever studio did Monster take a crack at 20th Century.

Monster is my favourite Urasawa manga but I'd love to see more of his stuff adapted.

Master Keaton had an anime that was quite good, though it wasn't as complete an adaptation as Monster.
